Malmo was trash talking all season, made a bunch of moves to aquire veterans. Got a good goalie, yet here they are season getting close to a wrap and only 4 points ahead of a younger Moscow team, that features only a few players playing in their 3 season an beyond. Most of it 1st and 2nd year players with room to grow.

Moscows offense out scores everyone in the league, problem is they arent good at 200 feet yet. Well Malmo really doesnt lead in anything, with near bottom of the pack goals for and goals against. Remember when Malmo thought they were gunna be a playoff team and surprise everyone. Pepperidge farms remembers.

Which begs the question, are they really ahead or will Moscow easily leap frog them next year with a full season under their belts? May has been a stud building up, whicy means the goalie will be more experience and better. Nano seems to love Moscow and most of the 1st year dmen will be older and stronger. Plus reinforcements coming from the minors next year to bump those not developing out of the roster.

Long live Moscow

Moscow is going to be a force in a few seasons, but so is Malmo. We only have a few guys from S61 +Odinsson retiring. Most of our team is filled with young players AND we have a lot of young prospects in the VHLM from S67 and S66. Malmo=VHL Buffalo Sabres.
