Nate Telker had just joined the Mississauga Hounds about a year ago to date, as a young kid with a lot to learn. Now he has made Team Canada as their projected 3rd line center. He made the team just days ago after having an impact season with both Saskatoon and Houston. this season he has 52 points in 44 games. "I've come so far and it feels great to achieve a big dream I have always had as a kid. It feels great to not only represent team Canada, but also Houston and Moscow as well." Telker is rumored to be on a line with left winger Micha Sage and right winger Benson Kramer. Sage has already made the jump to the VHL and currently plays for the New York Americans. Telker spoke how happy he is to start playing with his line. "Sage will be a big honour to play with. He was drafted 32 overall just like me and has already made the leap to the VHL, so that will be a really cool experience. Kramer is always tough to play against as he is so good at back checking and defending, it'll be nice to have that all around winger on my line with me"
