The Mississauga Hounds currently sit third in the VHLM standings after 30 + games. They have played some exceptional hockey this season and the results are paying off. As great as it’s been for the Hounds this article isn’t about them. This article is about the juggernauts leading the way this season, the Saskatoon Wild. After 34 games this team is 33-1-0. They have ONE loss.....ONE!!! They have every other teams trying to plan and ploy on how they are going to stop them. Guess what... that isn’t going to happen. This team is so stacked from top to bottom. From Dan Deyeeto and Edwin The Encarnacion on the back end to Jesse Nyman and Dagmar Havlova up front this team is elite. Only 1 time has this team been solved this season and it has every other team scrambling. Mexico City and The Hounds are putting the pressure on in the standings but still have a lot of work to do to get to the level of Saskatoon. Im going to make a bold prediction and say Saskatoon is ousted in the first round of the playoffs. We currently have 9 players above 200 TPE and a goal differential that is honestly mind-boggling. So yes, STHS will probably screw us but this is very possible the best set up VHLM team in history right now.
