Sick review

DC on pace to shatter inaugural season

-Washington, DC

Oh, what a year makes for change in the VHL.  Davos, who paced to 90 points last year, might not even get to 30 this year.  Malmo apparently forgot how to score.  Prague is still...  Prague.  But the real surprise in the VHL so far has to be The DC Dragons, who are on pace to eclipse their point total from Season 68 in about a week.

With a large influx of prep talent, combined with further development in already rising stars, the Dragons have built on their largely failed inaugural season with a swift uptick in quality play between the blue lines, defense and leadership.  "We have been fortunate to have most, if not of our players grow over the past few months.  Not many teams can say that.  While still young, there is excitement generating in the nation's capital that this is the start of something big", general manager Enoramalamadingdong explained to the media.

Much of the team's growth this year can be attributed to the depth their blue line has to offer, with 5 defensemen logging in over 300 hours of practice.  Somewhat staggering is the fact that only 3 of their players were drafted before Season 67.
