Mikey Blade. After having an awful season in Seattle, it looks like the change of scenery has done him nothing but good. Mikey looked to be having a spiral of downfalls one after another since his pretty good rookie debut, but if he can consistently put up the numbers he has this season then we may have a new elite player on our hands. Below, are the comparable for each major statistic.

Goals:

S36: 29

S37: 45

Difference: 16

Assists:

S36: 36

S37: 55

Difference: 19

Points:

S36: 65

S37: 100

Difference: 35

Shots Blocked:

S36: 25

S37: 45

Difference: 20

There is a lot of other stats that could be taken into consideration, but it's obvious that the differences are pretty substantial especially the points. Blade had never come close to 100 points, with his best being 75 two seasons ago. Needless to say, if this isn't improvement, I don't know what is.
