Helsinki Titans Hire an AGM

 

After going a full season in the hands of a new GM, Helsinki's management team has settled in and find themselves in a position to expand. The league takes pride in providing mentor-ship to those eager to take on more responsibility and learn the ins and outs of the league.

It is my pleasure to announce the Helsinki Titans have hired an Assistant General Manager for the upcoming season.

We chose a member within the organization who has shown impressive dedication to the team while only being with us for one season. The successful candidate for this role is none other than @McLovin. His player Ben Hafkey was acquired in season 69 from the Vancouver Wolves and he immediately made a positive impact both on the ice and in the locker room. McLovin was the GM for Team USA during the S69 World Junior Championship and took home the bronze medal for his nation. He has had his name considered for several recent job openings and has shown a desire to become more involved in the managerial duties this league has to offer.

 

Congratulations to McLovin!

I look forward to working with you as we take on the collective task of bringing a 12th Continental Cup home to Helsinki Finland

"Helsinki is a storied franchise, having won multiple Continental Cups and countless playoff and Cup appearances. Coming off our Bronze Medal win in the S69 WJC, I was looking to take my GMing to the next level and find a job somewhere in the VHL. While I was primarily looking in the VHLM, GM @Jubo07 gave me a once in a lifetime opportunity when he offered me an AGM position on the Helsinki Titans. Having worked with Jubo during the WJC and in previous years, it was an offer I couldn't turn down. Jubo is an incredible mentor, and an even better friend, and has taught me so much of what I already know. Now being able to work with him directly in Helsinki, I look forward to learning from the best the game has to offer, and hope to contribute to this teams rich history and bring the Cup back to Titan Nation."
