God I forgot how boring it is to be a goalie. Of course, with the VHL being the only hockey league I've ever followed to any degree, I'd probably be bored being a skater in today's low point total era. I know being a defenseman the second half of Marvin Harding's career was pretty boring. It's pretty obvious that others feel the same way, what with most big name defensemen bailing to switch to forward in their careers. If you ask me, the real cool kids go the other way and switch to defense, Dil not included of course. It takes a special breed to play defense in the VHL, especially nowadays. I miss the days of 2 goal 11 hit games or gsmes with guys getting like 9 SBs. The league should really look into adding about 40 teams or so so stats can look cool again.
