Yes I know I know, I've heard all the buzz about current leading scorer HHH, but I've got two words for him.....if you know what I mean. To me it's pretty obvious that the MVP or Scotty Campbell trophy is likely going to Brick Wahl of Prague depending on how things shake out the rest of the season. Wahl currently dominates the goalie position, up a staggering .5 over the next competition in terms of save percentage and a .4 better in goals against. Also the only goalie under 2 GAA, which is super impressive this late in the season.

But on top of being the standout goalie of the season Wahl has done a lot of heavy lifting for a very competitive Prague team this season. Up until a recent slide Prague was hanging in there competing with Moscow and the NA teams for a shot at the Victory Cup. But you'd have to look no further than the current scoring situation in Prague to see the heavy lifting that Wahl has done. The current leading scorer for the club is Cinnamon Block, the second leading defensive scorer in the league with 65 points. Block is likely to hit a point per game. Otherwise nobody else on Pragues roster even makes a dent, and the team only has one player to score above 20 goals, that being Roll Fizzelbeef.

It has been a team that scores by committee, and then hunkers down and relies on the great goaltending of Wahl to seal the deal. Prague currently has given up the second least goals in the league at 153, only 5 worse than Vancouver who currently leads the league in points as well and are the likely Victor Cup favorite. The real crazy thing is other than Block, there isn't a single player on the Prague team in any other of the top ten in scoring by positions. Wahl is going to have to keep up the MVP like effort in the playoffs, although given their play style Prague seems quite suited for the playoff environment.
