Minnesota, the heavy frontrunner for the Founder's Cup, had a hard time in the playoffs. In the first series, they took the series to 7 games with the expansion team, the Miami Marauders. The started down 3-1, but then won the last three to advance to the series against the Mexico City Kings. That series didn't go as well, with the Storm losing in six games to the Kings. The first game went 4-3 for Minnesota, with @flatl99 Liam Flaten scoring 2 goals to put the Storm ahead. The second game, the Kings crushed the Storm 7-0, with @Hylands33 Chris Hylands getting the first star with 2 goals and 1 assist. Then, Minnesota lost 5-4 in overtime, with @jacobaa19 Squirrely Dan with 1 goal and 2 assists. Game 4 went Minnesota's way, with a 7-4 win with @Joe Exotic getting the first star with 2 goals and 1 assist. The next game tilted the series in favor of the Kings, with them winning 2-1, and @rory Jeffrey Pines scored both goals to get 1st star. The last game put the nail in the coffin, with the Kings winning 5-1 with Jeffrey Pines scoring 2 goals and 1 assist to earn 1st star. Overall, I'd say Jeffrey Pines was the MVP of the Storm- Kings series.
