New Forum Taking Shape

I've been through two moves now, as many of us have. To be honest, I always liked where we were at the time of our first move, but things came to a halt when the first board ran out of space. With hindsight on our side, it would have been best to move here in the first place, but what is done is done. The old site was great too, we had a lot of good memories there, but now we have to move on. Thankfully, we are able to retrieve all of our things and I am working on getting the original domain transfered to another host so we can upload our games and get the portal back online.

What I have observed over the past 10 days or so is that I don't have to look after the day to day upkeep of the hosting anymore. I can now sit back and relax. My plan is to retire from this duty and only look after the domain in which we host our games. I will provide this out of my pocket. The remaining hosting costs will need to be covered by donations. I don't know what this new outfit will cost, but likely less than before. Hopefully Higgins will be able to set up a donation index through his Paypall because he shouldn't be stuck with the bill. I will transer all of the remaining league funds to him once we are ready to go.

Hopefully the season is getting read to begin soon. We have retrieved all of the player pages and the simmers can begin to update things. This forum is taking shape and I for one am happy with the move. Thankfully, we have been able to retrieve all of our history, that is the most important thing to me. I want the league to always hold the history of those who came before us in the most high regard. Some of the people who have worked hardest to get this going again are important historical figures, hopefully they will be given their due respect. I am thankful to them.
