TRADE ALERT:

Quite the surprising trade has occurred between the Las Vegas Aces and the Miami Marauders. Las Vegas offered up their S76 5^th draft pick and their goaltender Matthew A Sovick jr @matt sovick and only wanted one thing in return, Thadius Sales @thadthrasher.

 

This trade continues to catch most of the league off-guard. Many are wondering, “what in the world went on that made Miami want to trade Sales?”

One word: longevity.

I’ve been talking with my VHL team, the New York Americans, and I have every intention of moving up from the M for S76. I’ve loved my time in Miami, but when @Ricer13 and I talked it was clear that they are looking for a more long-term goaltender in Miami, one that they can use in S76 as well as the rest of S75. I didn’t request the trade, but I’m not angry about it. I’m still young, my career is just taking off, so a trade isn’t the worst thing to happen. With Miami searching for a back-to-back championship we still aren’t sure that this was the best move, but only the future will tell.
