diacope 1,696
As of right now updates are still going in and people are going to be earning more in the future but I wanted to take a look at the current scoring, defense and goaltending ratings in the VHL, they are the most important skills and dictate possible outcomes without even seeing a sim, going to fit the goaltenders in with it and see how it turns out. Hopefully I can elaborate to the best of my ability on what I mean by this and give you an EA-like hype for the new season! Alrighty.. To the numbers. --- EUROPEAN CONFERENCE Helsinki Titans Players 15 Scoring 89.1 Defense 92.3 Goaltending 120.0 Overall 100.5 STARS Forward Ola Vikingstad (98.0) Defender Spencer Elsby (85.8) Goalie Zamboni Driver (80.0) Moscow Menace Players 12 Scoring 93.4 Defense 92.3 Goaltending 100.5 Overall 95.4 STARS Forward Mikko Lahtinen (96.5) Defender Roque Davis (107.4) (#1 Overall) Goalie Jacob Tonn (80.4) Warsaw Predators Players 15 Scoring 94.4 (#1 Overall) Defense 94.3 (#1 Overall) Goaltending 97.0 Overall 95.2 STARS Forward Uhtred (78.5) Defender Latrell Mitchell (86.0) Goalie Ajay Krishna (64.7) Malmo Nighthawks Players 13 Scoring 91.4 Defense 92.3 Goaltending 97.7 Overall 93.8 STARS Forward Chris Hylands (88.0) Defender Marshall James Frostbeard (70.5) Goalie Grekkark Gyrfalcon (58.5) HC Davos Dynamo Players 13 Scoring 82.6 Defense 90.9 Goaltending 95.9 Overall 89.8 STARS Forward SS Hornet (104.5) (#1 Overall) Defender Tyler Walker (75.4) Goalie Joakim Bruden (53.3) London United Players 14 Scoring 87.7 Defense 90.7 Goaltending 85.8 Overall 88.1 STARS Forward Chad Magnum (67.3) Defender Erik Killinger (90.0) Goalie Kevin Malone (46.6) Prague Phantoms Players 13 Scoring 88.5 Defense 87.2 Goaltending 77.7 Overall 84.5 STARS Forward Thomas Landry (90.4) Defender Riley Knight-Gee (62.3) Goalie Woody McPine (52.7) Riga Reign Players 16 (Tied for #1 Overall) Scoring 82.4 Defense 87.2 Goaltending 67.5 Overall 79.0 STARS Forward Cabe McJake (45.9) Defender Liam Flaten (39.0) Goalie Calvin Harvey (67.5) *In need of a backup goaltender with at least 250 TPE and the average could easily be 92.5 which means new team overall would be 87.3* --- AMERICAN CONFERENCE Calgary Wranglers Players 13 Scoring 84.7 Defense 92.9 Goaltending 142.1 (#1 Overall) Overall 106.6 (#1 Overall) STARS Forward Patrik Tallinder (88.7) Defender RJ Jubis (89.5) Goalie Jacques Lafontaine (77.0) Toronto Legion Players 16 (Tied for #1 Overall) Scoring 86.5 Defense 90.6 Goaltending 132.8 Overall 103.3 STARS Forward John Merrick (74.3) Defender Ziarie Anigbogu (50.0) Goalie Jaxx Hextall (89.4) Vancouver Wolves Players 14 Scoring 90.3 Defense 93.8 Goaltending 103.3 Overall 95.8 STARS Forward Andrew Su (84.0) Defender Micah Adrienne (70.9) Goalie Jimmy Spyro (68.8) Chicago Phoenix Players 15 Scoring 90.4 Defense 90.0 Goaltending 104.9 Overall 95.1 STARS Forward Kyl Oferson (71.3) Defender Matty Socks (66.0) Goalie Jean Pierre-Camus (69.4) D.C. Good luck this season everybody! Looks like we have a lot of teams very close so it could be anybody's championship. Thanks for tuning in all the way through or just checked out your teams standing.. Bye 698 words not counting this last sentence, this should be good for next week since I'm already claimed a free week, had the idea a few hours ago so I did some research and got this together quickly before player ratings change too much. diacope 1,696
3 hours ago, Jtv123 said: Would of liked seeing all the players ratings Yeah true, trust me I wanted to, at least for skating, puckhandling, checking, strength, passing and faceoffs but that's another thousand calculator clicks plus forum page loads. Went in knowing it was purely stats-based article and almost every player focuses on those two. Also I don't want anybody mad for posting a bunch of the same thing over and over again (reason why I don't mind claiming either an extra 200 words) but I thought it was very interesting as we start the new season. I'm going to do another at the end of the season, maybe I could post another one with extra stats in the near future and rank the teams by that (not sure how'd that work) or add that into the next one if I'm feeling it. Guess I should have thought it out before writing because I could have included the variety of all the player builds but there isn't much time before players are updated and that's how I go into every article, usually end it whenever my fingers decide it's time to stop Edited January 19, 2021 by 16z Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/98319-if-the-vhl-had-ea-sports-like-ratings/#findComment-816212 Share on other sites
