MOST DIFFICULT VHL DIVISIONS TO PLAY IN

Recommended Posts

In S73 the VHL expanded by 4 teams. This forced the league to create new divisions.  Lets see how these divisions stack up compared to one another over the past 3 seasons and 8-9 games of S76.

So the Bunclewirth Division has been the most competitive.  Even with LA having accumulated the least amount of points of any team since season 73. The Vancouver, Seattle and Calgary battles are intense over the past 3+ seasons.  Congrats on Vancouver and Seattle on actually winning cups.  So we have not been able to win a cup in Calgary just yet. With my research today tho, I was able to find out that Calgary has accumulated more points than any team since I took over. I was very lucky to take over a very strong team before the beginning of season 72. We average 94.87 points per season since that point. We have 2x Victory cups to show for our regular season success. Ok enough trying to pat myself on the back we have not won the Continental Cup yet.  Maybe some day and maybe that day will be in February 2021 😛.

GO WRANGLERS!

Divisions were actually added when Prague and DC were brought in. The 4 team expansion just changed the schedule so that you play your own division more than the other ones. So while you guys have to face each other more you also get to face LA more, bonus there.

More strong teams = points evening out more. We don’t have LA to beat up on.

You have the slightly stronger division but also the significantly worse one. Europe’s both sit in the middle. By averages Europe is stronger.

Taking the division averages, adding them together, and dividing by 2:

NA: 78.12 Points per season AVG
EU: 79.08 Points per season AVG

The Low division gives you guys more bad teams to beat up on driving the Bunclewirth division up the standings. EU is best.
