Jubis 1,348
In S73 the VHL expanded by 4 teams. This forced the league to create new divisions. Lets see how these divisions stack up compared to one another over the past 3 seasons and 8-9 games of S76. Bunclewirth Division 1. VANCOUVER GP 224 PTS 290 AVG 92.8 points per season 2. SEATTLE GP 224 PTS 289 AVG 92.48 points per season 3. CALGARY GP 224 PTS 285 AVG 91.20 points per season 2. LA GP 224 PTS 184 AVG 58.88 points per season AVG POINTS PER SEASON ENTIRE DIVISION =83.84 PTS Low Divison 1. D.C. GP 223 PTS 250 AVG 80.36 points per season 2.TORONTO GP 223 PTS 289 AVG 75.86 points per season 3. NEW YORK GP 223 PTS 285 AVG 68.46 points per season 2. CHICAGO GP 223 PTS 184 AVG 64.93 points per season AVG POINTS PER SEASON ENTIRE DIVISION =72.40 PTS Shaw Divison 1. HELSINKI GP 224 PTS 295 AVG 94.40 points per season 2.MALMO GP 224 PTS 258 AVG 82.56 points per season 3. DAVOS GP 224 PTS 237 AVG 75.84 points per season 2.LONDON GP 223 PTS 200 AVG 64.29 points per season AVG POINTS PER SEASON ENTIRE DIVISION =79.27 PTS Gow Division 1. MOSCOW GP 223 PTS 287 AVG 92.25 points per season 2. RIGA GP 224 PTS 246 AVG 78.72 points per season 3. PRAGUE GP 224 PTS 232 AVG 74.24 points per season 2. WARSAW GP 224 PTS 220 AVG 70.40 points per season AVG POINTS PER SEASON ENTIRE DIVISION = 78.90 PTS So the Bunclewirth Division has been the most competitive. Even with LA having accumulated the least amount of points of any team since season 73. The Vancouver, Seattle and Calgary battles are intense over the past 3+ seasons. Congrats on Vancouver and Seattle on actually winning cups. So we have not been able to win a cup in Calgary just yet. With my research today tho, I was able to find out that Calgary has accumulated more points than any team since I took over. I was very lucky to take over a very strong team before the beginning of season 72. We average 94.87 points per season since that point. We have 2x Victory cups to show for our regular season success. Ok enough trying to pat myself on the back we have not won the Continental Cup yet. Maybe some day and maybe that day will be in February 2021 . GO WRANGLERS! The 4 team expansion just changed the schedule so that you play your own division more than the other ones. So while you guys have to face each other more you also get to face LA more, bonus there. Europe’s both sit in the middle. By averages Europe is stronger. Taking the division averages, adding them together, and dividing by 2: NA: 78.12 Points per season AVG EU: 79.08 Points per season AVG The Low division gives you guys more bad teams to beat up on driving the Bunclewirth division up the standings. EU is best. Jubis 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/98624-most-difficult-vhl-divisions-to-play-in/#findComment-818387 Share on other sites
