as your first attempt it isn't that bad, i've seen way worst graphics.
This gets a solid 8 out of a 10 keep it up mate, maybe in the future you can do better things, we all belive in you.

You might want to change your mask as you don't want people to think that you're...too soft in net

 

But really, overall I like what you did for this graphic! I think you really touched on adding some personality on your graphic rather than just a plain logo-swap. However, I would have to say that the number swap is a bit obvious and you can see the whiteout of the original number underneath, as well as the text for the draft positions is a bit plain. But overall I think you did a really good job and I would easily give this a 7/10, hope to see you in the league soon bud!

I think your graphic is really clever. It made me laugh out loud when I realized the helmet pattern was tater totes, it was a really creative choice. I would say that the information in the bottom right hand corner are a little distracting how it overlaps on the players shirt. Maybe this information could be smaller or in a box or in the upper right hand corner.  Great job 8/10! Creativity 10/10!
