Another thing: why do some people place such importance in the LR? It's like you don't want to contribute to the actual site, just form little cliques and stick to those. Which isn't a good thing imo but even worse is the next step: "oh I don't feel part of the wider group so I'm not going to read or post outside my LR" Vicious cycle.

Alright yes, as to the discussion at hand. There are some very valid points here. I really like the idea of giving people a choice but I don't think that's possible. All skins go on the same forum organisation from my understanding. Maybe each LR could vote on where it wants to be? Though that might get things unnecessarily heated. Now as to the criticisms levelled. Do you honestly expect me to believe people have left because the LRs are at the bottom? Lolno, people leave because we are a PT league and that is not everyone's cup of tea. We don't hide we're a PT league, the SHL came in as the non PT league so it is easier to earn TPE there (though I'd struggle to call it completely non PT at this point). There are two misconceptions in this thread which I don't really expect you to know since you have joined both leagues much later. First, of course Jones' assessment that SHLers have brought the shitstorms to the VHL is incorrect. How would he know that, the first SHLers joined here in S17. If anything, the first 17 seasons were the most drama filled. It seems you guys would love it back then but it wasn't a good time a lot of the time. Second, the SHL started with LRs at the bottom too. Or LRs in the team forums, something weird. They were not less active, apart from the fact the league had less members. I strongly doubt that LR activity will go up by LRs going to the top but I'm sure compromises can be found.

Yeah poor wording I meant at the end of next season. As in next season almost certainly seems like last chance and Cologne will probably be forced to have a weaker team. Quebec will survive longer by the looks of it, but will they have a better team than this season?
