In the sim, without doubt Season 18 Calgary. Such a fun team despite our goalie trying to retire on us and the actual Game 6 I opened certain that we lost and it would be Game 7, but there it was, a 3-2 OT win and the cup. Did it for Zero and the avatars. All the cups were great in different ways. Probably the least memorable were S21 Toronto and this NY team but only because the moment itself wasn't a major victory, as we were favourites. The LRs though made for some excellent whole seasons. On site there's been some great shit. Jardy's llama story and various other rants. Slobo's racist drunk podcast. RJ Stafford's online adventure. Joe Nash for MVP. And probably a shit ton I have missed.

Good LRs have a habit of slowing down. I've been a part of some absurdly active ones but after 3-4 seasons it's not the same. Until the next cycle.

Obviously yes. Now I'm using my player off time to give the SHL another go and wtf is the hype about? It's not bad but where's this enormous activity people are talking about when they're chatting shit on VHL? It takes me just as long to surf the SHL as it does the VHL. SHL people here are like, you have no OT chat, well shit, you've got nothing good going on in that forum either. Considering the difference in members who log in every day (90 vs 200), there isn't double the activity. I dunno what people do, but they sure as hell aren't posting shit loads. I never argued against this before as I wasn't active in the SHL so when I did log in, there was lots to catch up to, obviously. Just like when I was less active here. But now that I've experienced it, eh, overrated. Activity is just an excuse some people use it seems because they are comfortable in their little cliques and don't have them in the VHL.

Oh I'm loving the hype around this. On a sidenote, you mention Caprivi, well, unless Devise steps down before then, his recreate (presumably S45 or S46) wouldn't be able to be on the team alongside Romanes' GM recreate... so they'll have to trade him anyway. Doubt it'd be now though, so I agree.
