  1. Jeevan's back baby.
  2. You have to refresh every page. You can see by the date/time it says at the top.
  3. Impossible to track. Yes, roster limits of 2 lines and a goalie (so same as the ideal VHL roster which also equals best ice time for everyone) seem to be the most reasonable and feasible solution.
  4. Ironically, his least favourite person in the world is also a follower of a red cult that lights everything on fire.
  5. Pooper third star!
  6. Corco, now just don't change anything.
  7. Sorry.
  8. It's not that bad any more in terms of activity. Obviously there's 3-4 teams per seasons with realistic shots at the cup (quite often 1) but LRs are going well for most teams. Oslo and Ottawa last season missed the playoffs with active member cores. I don't know what can be done to change the situation, that's for someone better versed in the ways of the VHLM.
  9. I've ensured there is no more lottery pick hogging in NY.
  10. #cringe and that was just directed at the title “shades of Jonsson” - 50 shades of Jonsson? whichever one of the guys at the bottom is Slaughter, he's fucking old. No wonder he has so much TPE.
  11. Ah yes, 2008, the rise of RJ Umberger.
  12. This proposal though. Cap initial carryover at 28 TPE, allow to add extra carryover (1 to 47 TPE) after player is drafted in the VHL. May be difficult to manage but the idea is decent.
  13. Then wouldn't a similar situation arise when a goalie is near 200 TPE and a starter is already on their VHL team? They were last season and will be this season.
  14. Yes but obviously you're a special case. No need to change the rule for the majority of the league.
  15. But really, that would mean players could go into the VHLM with 200 TPE in the sim yet 175 on their player pages and that is the opposite of what we're trying to achieve. I sort of understand the notion but people who do things for the VHL should be in the VHL anyway. It's not like they're being punished by going up to the VHL.
  16. that would take a lot of calculating and it's still TPE which goes to the player and makes them better and considering this rule is in place to ensure good players go to the VHL, that's really counter-productive.
  17. what? you are literally the next post: http://vhlsim.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/3582-vhl-recruitmentpromotion-video-contest/page-3#entry35285

  19. #lawyered
  20. Season 27 is too long to make a difference, nor did I make the ruling back then. Since S32, treatment of these situations has been consistent.
  21. Yeah so Molholt confirmed that he was treated the same way as Olynick pretty much. Except instead of 12 TPE he was allowed to keep his donation and use the player store purchase later (which may have disappeared but that's a separate issue). So to summarise: 1. If you are over 175 TPE before the VHLM season (including banked points), you can't play in the VHLM (with the exceptions of rare cases like Slaughter who had nowhere else to go). I'll re-post this rule in the updating forum but it has been there for long enough. 2. I am willing to make arrangements for players who want to stay down like Olsen and Olynick when it really is the best situation for them and both their VHL and VHLM teams. This involves forfeiting TC (for greater VHLM benefits) and reshuffling TPE. In Olynick's case, 12 TPE isn't that big of a deal. 3. I like d3vils' idea about carryover being used after people move on from the VHLM or at least after their pre-draft season. Maybe cap it at 28 (the most first-gens can earn with 3 doubles and VHLM TC). It's an interesting proposal which has been lost in the shuffle. Overall, this thread wasn't necessary since we had already sorted everything out but on the bright side, it's clarified some issues and cost Olynick 10 VHL TC TPE because of the Olsen precedent.
  22. If anyone is spending time exclusively running Twitter and Facebook, it would be best to allocate to something more useful.
