  4. Tristan Iseult Goaltender - Left Handed 6'5" - 212 lbs Redruth, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom Tristan Iseult is born in Redruth in the county of Cornwall in the south west of the United Kingdom. He was raised since he was young by his uncle. His career started a bit differently than most of the prospect that joined the VHLM draft. He started to play Field Hockey in his hometown. He was the goaltender of his home team. Tristan learned about ice hockey after his field hockey team faced a Canadian team and most of the player explained to the young Cornish players about the version played on the ice. The conversation intrigued Tristan and he wanted to try it out. His uncle, Mark Cornwall, sent him to Ireland where he could learn about the sport. Little did his uncle know that Tristan would discover his true love in the sport. He played a few season for the Upper Dublin Ice Hockey Club before deciding to opt in the VHLM draft. Strengths Style Control: If you want to be able to defend your net properly, the best way to do it is to have good Style Control. It allow the goaltender to be at the right place at the right time. This is something Tristan always focused in his development and something that will allow him to stand out of the group. Hand Speed: Puck at the top of the net is not something Tristan fears. He knows he have good hand speed and should be able to catch the puck quickly. As soon as he can see the skater shoot toward him, most of the time. Tristan will usually be doing drills after practices in order to keep this strength as sharp as possible. Reaction Time: Another strength that make Tristan stand out is his reaction time. He have extremely good reflexes. This allow him to drop on his knees when it’s needed and get his hand or stick where the puck is going. He can also move from one side of the net to the other when there is a pass in front of him or someone try to do a turnaround. Weaknesses Leadership: Tristan is a quiet man; he will not be a leader in a locker room. Some people will say that Tristan leads by example, but this is not something that Tristan will be doing for the others. He is always trying to improve his own game and does not really look around him if it inspire others or not. Loyalty: Tristan is someone that might be on the move more often than some team would like it. While goaltender will most likely not be in huge demand if Tristan enter FA, he might decide to test the market anyway to see what the offers are. Skating: One of the weakness of Tristan is his skating when he is on the ice. He is not a player that will move around a lot out of the crease and he will often let the defenseman take care of claiming and clearing the pucks around him instead of reaching them himself.

  11. So the best time to create a player is after the trade deadline and not after the draft ? I can't find it anywhere in the rules ... damn @Green lied to me >:( hahah
  12. I didn't really understand how the league worked this season. Now a user took the time to explain it to me today and i understand better the functionnement and the way i can gain tpe. Feel like i lost all season by doing nothing so i prefer to recreate. I'll be back after the S59 draft.

  14. Sir Galahad Goaltender Sheffield, Great Britain Sir Galahad is born in Great Britain, in Sheffield, and he spent most of his teenage years playing for his hometown hockey academy team. Now towering six foot and five and weighting 212 lbs, he is ready for a new challenge in the hockey world. He had the opportunity to play in the Elite Ice Hockey League for his hometown team, the Sheffield Steelers, but he preferred to take a chance and opt in for the VHL draft. He is hoping to have the chances to go play in a North American team and see new places around the world. He is a bit of a traveler, so he might not stick around to one team. Strengths Style Control: Galahad knows that, if you want to be a good goaltender, you have to control how you move in the crease. It is important to never fall out of position and to be able to move where he wants to when it is necessary. He spent a lot of time in practice doing positioning drills and correcting any mistake. Hand Speed: Most of the shots a goalie will be facing will be high shots, due to the fact they are harder to block. Galahad also worked hard on this aspect for this reason. His reflex are slightly higher than any goaltender of his age and he proud himself to be able to block some of those hardest shots without any issue. Reaction Time: Galahad is someone who’s act on instinct most of the time. When he sees someone try his or her luck to defeat him, he will have time to get in position and defend his net. If he have a visual on the puck and the skater, it’s easy for him to react fast and read where the puck will be, which often end up in more pucks blocked. Weaknesses Skating: Galahad is not someone who likes to leave his crease, which mean that he has a harder time skating around the net and making plays behind it. If he is caught off guard behind it or in the corner of the ice, the situation will be tricky and most of the time, the defensemen might need to help him out of these situations. Rebound Control: As mentioned, as soon as the puck is further away from him, he already has trouble to control the play. When a shot hit his pads too hard, or when it’s going on the blocker side, he sometime have trouble to control where it will end up in the ice, causing a few situation where the other team receive the puck and pressure him again. Motivation: The last and main problem with Galahad is his motivation to play. He loves to be on the ice, but he is not one to practice a lot. He might need a few kick in the ass before getting at it as well as some reminders from his teammates and managers in order to perform the tasks he needs to do.
