If that's the case then bringing back awards committee wouldn't be a bad idea. Let the BoG who are actively involved continue to be involved and bring in a few more members to drive the discussions.

As long as there's some reasonable justification that isn't "I like him better" or "he has more TPE", that should suffice. There may be some responses that could make someone roll their eyes but as long as there's a line of logic behind it that's ok.

That's more an issue of a voter abusing their power than an issue with the system itself. Which is the primary reason people want more transparency in the voting process to prevent those kinds of malpractice. Not everyone is going to agree on every award, and there's always going to be some element of bias (even if it's just subconsciously, that's human nature) but voters should be able to give reasoning to their votes. If someone isn't participating in discussions or giving their reasoning elsewhere, then they vote in a direction that is vastly different than the ways the conversation was going, then chuck out their vote.

I didn't have a plan going in but once I saw we had a Hangman it seemed like the obvious play. I contemplated doing a blackmailer play at one point but the opportunity never presented itself.

With 3 Anys in play I wouldn't rule it out. Otherwise it would be down to 16z, Ricer, or Lefty, and if there's only two left this late in the game I doubt Lefty targets himself. The question now though is if he was actually hangman'd or if it was a Gustav.

That is quite a lucky twist! I examined Jericho's body last night to see if we could narrow down the Hangman and got some interesting results: Redsus, Ricer13, 16z, NotSoGood88, or Lefty_S Obviously it wasn't Redsus but I wasn't expecting NSG to show up. Given that Al got lynched instead of saved yesterday, I'm wondering if he was the Hangman all along.

It's possible that the Hangman targeted Ty given he was a Hacker claim. Or maybe NotSoGood was the Hangman all along and we don't need to worry about it anymore.

And yes the Ballot Destroyer would need to vote. If 3 is needed to lynch then 5 would guarantee it even with a destroyed ballot.
