I made it!

Brees and Edmunds turned my head more.

Here's the deal. When told we should have one I created it. Now thats only 48 hours from the time to draft. We needed an even amount of teams. Since we were at 7 forever and fresco didn't join, we had to push the draft date back otherwise it would autodraft them to our teams.

We have 8 people so it's 11:30 P.M. This is all because Fresco ducked out three hours ago. Unless someone finds another buddy to take along I have capped it at 8 Teams

Bonjour everyone! Welcome back to another edition of the VHLSC's Draft Rankings. Last week we introduced to you a new crop of youngin's vying to be the next first overall pick in the VHL Entry Draft. There can only be one obviously, but there can also be more than one winner in the draft. Whether that winner is any of the dozens of prospects, a VHL franchise or even a prospect eclipsing a personal goal. This week's edition sheds light on which prospects might make their respective VHLM squad a winner. We look at the prospects featured on each VHLM team this season and what sort of impact they may have on that team. First though, we figured we'd give you this week's roundup and updates. It will be pretty tough for the prospects to top this weeks production and movement. Only four prospects stayed in the spot they were ranked in last weeks rankings. Speaking of the number four, we gained four new prospects this week. This draft may gave us three full rounds after all and that is a win for everyone. Kol Mikaelson might want to avoid buying an apartment anytime soon, the amount of time he spent in the gym this week was insane. Kol was the biggest earner this week and in turn was also the biggest mover as he arose five spots to lottery contention. Jordan Maverick and Niels Skovsgard also made strides this week and both were able to stay consistent after week one. Time to find out what team these all-stars are featured on. The Brampton Blades features three of our prospects on their re-vamped roster. The freshly billed Zach Voss made our list and Brampton has big things in mind for their high-flying winger. Lottery calibre players are far from the norm in Brampton, which makes Saul Hackett swimming in very chartered territory in the Canadian city. Daryn Petersenn is a bit of an unknown but the management team in Brampton might attempt at sparking the young defensemen soon. It would be a shame to see only two of the three make it big time, but Brampton does have a solid history of turning players into stars. Player to Watch: Zach Voss Ottawa has been off and on in their history as a VHLM franchise. However, some big names have been groomed in the Canadian capital before. With only two of this years prospects on their current roster, they seem to be relying on an older core group. Despite that, Thomas Andersson has been getting a good look on the Lynx. The young winger is hoping to feed off another prospects from this years draft class. Aidan Rozel is hoping to make a name for himself as well in the VHLM. If Ottawa wants long-term success they need to develop these two young men. Player to Watch: Thomas Andersson Travelling to Yukon can be a tough journey for most teams, which might be one of the reasons they are a successful franchise. However, as they kick out an old manager to replace him with a new voice they also take on some new players. Brandon Lapham Jr. is a second generation player who grew up watching his dad play primarily in Riga with the Reign. Lapham Jr. gets the honour of suiting up in the navy and gold to hone his skills. Joining him is Lars Siktanc is a fresh face to the league, and hopefully a face that becomes a household image. Siktanc may need some help adjusting to the league, but he does look like a solid player from the get-go. Player to Watch: Lars Siktanc We mentioned above the growth of Niels Skovsgard, but he isn't the only prospect making noise in Saskatoon. The prairie team features three young prospects on their 45th campaign roster. Niels Skovsgard leads the pack with his amazing skill set on the wing. Early unsung hero award may go to Jonathan Killeen who won the fans over by live tweeting the draft from his Samsung Galaxy (*product placement*). Killeen has been making noise with his mobile and his amazing skating ability on the ice. We are hoping these two prospects can help the third in Kenny Keeley who looks to have the build to make a VHL roster right now. Keeley's adjustment may be the X-Factor with this squad. Player to Watch: Jonathan Killeen Bern has had a ton of success in the VHLM, so much that you'd think they might get promoted to the VHL (that's not a thing though). Part of that reason is because they groom their players properly and constructively. This year the feature a team that only has one player from an earlier draft class. That means if you are scouting players, a trip to the Swiss city is not a half bad idea. Leading the way is Zach Parechkin who is the early first overall candidate. Kol Mikaelson made noise this week, and soon will make noise on the ice as well. Jeff Hamilton is a brand new prospect, but an excellent pedigree for a VHLM player. Jayden Fasth is an unknown with huge upside alongside players like Jon Panik, Benjamin Tumack and Jordan Maverick. Sean Blacker's uncle played in the VHL, so did Mathieu Baptiste. If the kids can get the ball rolling they might be an early Founder's Cup favourite. Player to Watch: Kol Mikaelson The Storm's people go through in Oslo are mostly ones they experience when watching their local hockey team. Oslo (like many franchises) has a great history of turning young players into VHL stars. This year is no different as they may get the chance to groom three young prospects. Olivia Diamond is a new prospect to our board and we'll see if she can stick with the boys. It's a rarity to find a female in the VHLM/VHL, as the only other current female is Jamie Hill on the Calgary Wranglers. Freddy Schultz and Stumppell Aurinkoinen Jr. are the other two prospects rounding this squad out. So far we have seen little for each of them though. Player to Watch: Olivia Diamond In their short history in the VHLM, Bratislava has gone on to win and then win some more. This franchise is blessed and must have a hand to hand contact with the man above or something. This year Manhole Siegfried will get their sole attention as the only prospects under their roster. It could get exciting if the young player rises from a team featuring none of his peers. Player to Watch: Manhole Siegfried Moscow is the team still trying to find an identity. They have been riddled but poor management in the past and are hoping that that changes with new management. If they can turn it around they might be helping the seven prospects they are attending to this season. Shawn Muller is the big name they feature but they also have the pleasure of grooming players like Bitch Higgins and World B. Free. Pete Stockton joins the mix as well, which could spark the team having the new addition. Pierre-Luc Lefrancois, Lucas Villa and LeAndre St.Pierre are three prospects to keep a close eye on with their amazing skillets. Player to Watch: Lucas Villa *VHLM GM's Note: Please be on your players about claiming the VHLM Practice Facility and writing VHL Fan articles. These two things go a long way in to getting prospects their max TPE per week.
