Well hello there faithful writers and various VHL General Managers from around the VHL as well as the vHLM. Welcome back to another edition of the VHL Scouting Centres rankings and analysis. This week we have a full slate of things to discuss, critique as well as shed light on. Last week we had the pleasure of introducing the young fourteen draftees who have declared eligible for next years VHL Entry Draft. This week as we know them a tiny bit more we also were able to increase the draft class (albeit by only one draftee). However, we celebrate the little victories here at VHLSC and adding our new draftee Xavier Kirkland to the fold is great news! We just hope that number increases every week from here on out.
Let's get right to what you want to know and less of what you don't. This week only one prospects didn't move in our rankings, which is by far the most movement a ranking chart has had since VHLSC was founded. Our biggest mover this week was Marcel Faux who was able to climb to the second spot on the draft rankings. Faux is a left winger for the Saskatoon Wild and has been steadily increasing his production week by week. Our biggest faller in the rankings is young R Truth who didn't show up to practice this week. Jury is still out on whether R Truth will fit the mould of a VHL or even an everyday VHLM player. The young right winger also calls Saskatoon Wild but it is clear he isn't following Marcel Faux around in the weight room. Our biggest TPE earner is none other than Le'Sean Coutzen. Coutzen was one of the later draft prospects to declare eligible, but he has been making noise as a centerman ever since. Edwin Reencarnacion remains our #1 prospect and it doesn't look like he will be losing that title soon.
This week's special player profile is a very interesting one. We get to hear from the players themselves as to what style they play and who they compare themselves too. Take a look!
That's all from VHLSC this week! Draftees make sure to stop by the VHL & VHLM Fantasy Zones to enter to win some free uncapped TPE and juice your player! Also don't forget to post in the VHLM Practice Facility each week for 1 uncapped TPE! Not to be outdone, but also if you are a first generation player and haven't done so yet, please go claim 10 Free TPE in the VHLM Training Camp that the VHLM's offers!
