  1. Boubabi, I know you weren't. Banock, no one was calling you inactive. They didn't read my posts very well and thought I was calling you inactive. I was calling the inactive free agent grant inactive that Minot gets, cause thats what it is. I was merely just saying that having an asset like Campbell would be better for them even if they have to trade him. Cause in the end a 2nd round pick is worth more than an inactive free agent (once again not Campbell).
  2. Little FYI Jim, usually the ballot gets sent to the GM who GM'd that year. Gosh what a rookie! Congrats to the winners! My Sask boys got themselves some hardware!
  3. Well then I see how it goes Flyers. Protocol changed, no Christmas card for you.
  4. Will the VHLM ballots get sent out?
  5. I never said he was inactive, guys. I said an inactive free agent. As in the one they are rewarded with top priority. I was referring to the fact he is more valuable than a free agent inactive. Further more a 2nd round pick is worth more than an inactive free agent considering the way we've been trying to fade them out.
  6. Fair enough. Only reason I mentioned it was because an inactive free agent can't help them long term.
  7. It's worth it though as a piece to trade to another team
  8. Believe it or not the white on black might be worse for eye glare
  9. Would it make sense to Auto Campbell to Minot seeing as an inactive free agent won't really be progressing? They are both goalies
  10. Buff may have to play on the blueline anyways, considering Myers just took a shot off his hand?
  11. Istanbul Cheetahs offer: S42: $92.000,000 S43: $95.000,000 It was supposed to be Noah's rent money but he said we could grab another teammate
  12. Oh how quickly they fall.
  13. HOF calibre in my opinion. Good career and glad I got to play with and against you!
  14. True, just saying that all most of the people who disagree are saying is that they'd prefer him as a forward because the team plays better that way and they feel he fits that spot better.
  15. Sandro that articles mentioned something that a select few (including myself) are saying. Where Buff plays the best, isn't necessarily the best for the team. So as some say he is better on the blueline for himself, it appears the team plays better with him up front.
  16. My post was a joke haha. Big Brent Burns got 2 mesh tinglers though!
  17. ovr weact mch dewise? geesh #Munk4Commish

  19. Don't get me started about Yukon, not everyone had a say in where teams end up.
  20. I know! I'm running out of CHL and US renders!
  21. That may be true, but I'm with Sterling in the way Buff performs on D may get him tons of stats but he is weak defensively back there. When he is a forward he is more engaged physically and is a pain for goaltenders.
  22. Hello again to all the readers! Welcome to another prospect rankings put together by the VHLSC. Last time you heard from us was the day of the Season 42 VHL Entry Draft. Luckily all the prospects in that draft had the honour of joining a respected VHL franchise. All this means is that this week we get to bring you a new crop of talent and a few names you may or may not be familiar with as of yet. The 43rd VHL Entry Draft is well over two months ago but that gives us a great chunk of time to access, dissect and get the full low down from the players themselves. This week we get to introduce you to the new pool of talent all vying for the first overall selection. Statistically speaking the first overall selection in the Victory Hockey League has mostly always gone on to do great things; unlike the NHL (cough "Daigle" cough). Last season we were blessed to have a plethora of men down the middle at the centre position. This year it is the complete opposite when it comes to that position. We have a total of four players at that position with only 11 TPE combined between all four. This years version of the centre position last year would probably be on the blueline. We have eight defensemen leading the pack this year on numbers alone. Left Wingers are giving the defensemen a run for their money though with a total of five in this draft. Only two right wingers have declared eligible so far for the draft, but that may change when we reach the VHL pre-season. Of course rounding them all out is the goaltender position which will be talked about in great lengths this year because of the storylines. Recently VHLSC sent out a couple questions for the draftees to answer in hopes of us getting to know them and where their heads are at about their class. Readers may be looking for the pie chart that is oh so tasty! Unfortunately our pie isn't ready yet and we have sent a request to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to expedite that. Until it gets here though, enjoy these responses to the following questions. As it looks so far, this draft doesn't look so big in number but they do seem to be very dedicated and the enthusiasm in their responses is something General Managers will look at. We can already see some surprises and dark horses that may rise from the bottom of our rankings to the top in no time. It will be interesting to see if for the second time in three years, a goaltender gets selected first overall or if someone comes and takes the top spot away. Season 43 is shaping up to be a quality year if the cards are played correctly be each willing prospect. We'd like to extend a thank you to all prospects who submitted a response to the questions. We didn't have to time to thank each one individually so we appreciate your willingness to engage with us and hopefully in the future as well! Now go earn TPE! 23. I never said anything about supporting haha. I just said member base for one province may equal or outweigh the number for American users. It's a moot point though considering nothing will happen.
