News to most of them. Even in the Hasselbeck/Alexander regime they were nowhere to be found. M's games aren't all bad, I just find the fans still living through the Boone days and think they are the top of a very good division every year. However they are getting better so we might see a rise in it!

No one would. People are bandwagoneers if they jump on it while they are good and leave when they are bad. That's always been the case. People who latch onto them when they are good or closest to them but stick with them forever are just considered fans. In Vancouver people latch onto them while they are good and as soon as they lose they forget about them entirely. That's where I draw the line

Oh yeah that is a huge issue with sports franchise up there. That's why I'm a Ken Griffey Jr. fan by not a Mariners fan. I can't stand being in Safeco around Seattle sports fans. Thunderbirds games are alright, but thats not pro.
-
But didn't in the end, against everyone else they play like shite. Against us they tend to get woken up

Not exactly, the Seahawks fanbase/bandwagon seemed to rubbed it in peoples faces even if they had supported for a month. Totally different.
-
Leading up to the Super Bowl everyone in the PacNorWest just gets way too cocky and joins the bandwagon. Seeing that fanbase go down a few notches makes me happy.

Handle showing the Habs how to stick to stick pass! Love it
-
Don't count yourself out yet, we've been playing like Algeria lately.
-
Love it.

I am very interested like I told you in PM, would consider creating a biting striker.
-
I never said that, I said by your standards if Yandle is a guy you pull off once the PP is over than Subban is the same. However I think both can play 5on5. You are making an argument and not reading what the other person is saying, not sure if its a language thing but you are losing things in translation. Anyways, 99% of the NHl fanbase knows Keith Yandle is a bonafide Top 4 guy, the ones who don't either haven't watched him or are comparing him to players who aren't similar in anyway. Time to get ready for the Lu/Cory matchup!
-
Same, I can see a huge growth there if the right things are put in place.
-
Maybe you need a translator for this. I never once said I was comparing Visnovsky and Subban. I clearly said they are top 4 guys on their teams who would fall under your "sit after the PP scheme". You need to go back and read that. Now you are just making high school grade comments to response.
-
One could say the same about Subban, Markov, Karlsson, Boyle, Visnovsky; but hey they all play in the top 4.
-
You said above he wouldn't be in your top 4, basically saying he is a #5 defensemen. That's all that needs to be addressed. I'm not losing faith because you think your arguments are clear, I'm losing faith because basing your arguments on what you think is reality instead of what is reality is somewhat silly. Yandle has shown to be a #1 pairing guy. Put Subban on the Coyotes and you'd see a -30 number as well. As I recall people were quite surprised Yandle never made Team USA for 2014, but hey I don't expect Habs fans to pay attention to that because he isn't on their team. For the record OEL is the 2nd pairing with Mark Stone and was last year as well. Michalek has always been paired with Yandle.
-
His teams have been horrible with no first line to boost that at all, not to mention Mike Smith has been awful. You saying he wouldn't make the top 2 pairings on a team is asinine. How well, at least Chris has the smarts because I'm losing faith in the fanbase in Hab land.
-
I watch Habs games, but the fanbase is the reason I try to avoid them if I can. At the moment sure, but the past Emelin has been employed as the #3. Your perfect scheme is so based on what you want as a perfect roster haha. Once again no one is arguing that he would or wouldnt be on their "perfect team". They are saying that in a 30 team league he is a 1st pairing defensemen on a large majority of teams. But your right why have a 50 pt defensemen in your top 2 pairings. This is hilarious, he can't fit the role yet he is 12th in scoring by defensemen on a team like Arizona which has been horrible this season.
-
If you build your team? Like an all-star team of the best players in your mind? Because thats not at all what anyone was arguing haha
-
That's fair, just pointing out that "Yandle is Trash" and "I wouldn't put him in my Top 3" are comments that lose credibly. What you saying is that Yandle would be below Emelin, Subban and Markov on the depth chart, which is hilarious.
-
Yandle isn't a game changer, no one ever said that. He goes about his business very quietly and racks up points and makes the little plays, but thats how things get done. Game changers are great, but when they are boom or bust they tend to get talked about equally for their lack of production as much as their great production. Handle is a 45-50 point defensemen with an dependable upside. Every time I see Subban play I see a player with tons of skill, a PP genius but a boneheaded individual at times. Making some of the shittiest reads I've seen from a blue liner since watching Mike Green's worst year. So sure Subban is a game changer, but game changers tend to make great players and then make great mistakes that costs their teams. East bias will always be there though so I'm not worried, just makes trades and such better for fans in the west because they see the true value in both conferences. You are saying you wouldn't put Keith Yandle in your top 3, and that is why would wouldn't cut it as a NHL GM. He is a #1a #1b guy.
-
"Yandle is trash" - Asinine comment in reality. East coast fans don't stay up to watch west coast games so they often miss a lot of the stuff out here unless their team is playing in them. It's been like that for along as I've been alive.
-
#5 would be better if it said 2007. #8 sucks, whoever did that should stop. #2 would be better if the left render was flipped so the stick was going the other way. #9 is simple but very effective #10 is for a red wings forum Time to apply for a grader job
-
You are making excuses for Subban's poor positioning. Handle is a stick to stick passer who knows how to be a power play defensemen, but saying he is trash? The guy has been one of the top 25 blue liners in the past 3 years.
-
Haha okay well the scouting reports in the East coast must be slightly fucked. I'd equally take Yandle or Subban. The description you gave is somewhat close P.K. anyways. The knock of Yandle is he gives up open shots. He is far from a defensive liability. I'd say 300 points in 540 games is somewhat productive offensively. But hey in the Western conference they play more defensively than the Eastern.
