  1. Nice work here. The jersey colors on the San Diego player are a bit off-putting but I will say the logo swaps are for the most part well done. Seeing Zetterberg in anything but Red is so weird, but that jersey swap was excellent. Looking forward to seeing more of these in the future, 8/10
  2. There is a serious lack of graphics including logo swaps, so I was pleasantly surprised to find one when trying to write a review. The color work here is great. If I could offer a bit of advice, I think some shadow work around the player would have made him pop a bit more, but you did add some lighter color in the background that does a good job of this. The text is a bit lackluster but it works well enough here. Good job overall, 7.5/10
  3. 2.) Pie or cake? with ice cream or without? hmmmmm 4.) Vacation days lol. Good to clear the mind. 5.) Someone smiling back at me, its infectious 6.) Peanut butter cookies 7.) If they would ever consider wearing socks in sandals. 8.) Somehow I manage, by Michael G. Scott
  4. The Helsinki Titans S76 roster will welcome six prospects into the fold. The Titans project to have a favorable balance between veteran players and rookies to groom into future stars of the league. With @BladeMaidenon board for her first full season as the Titans AGM, the Titans are setup for success in more ways than one. Returning Core Center - Ola Vikingstad @Dil Center - Valtteri Vaakanainen RW - Patrik Laine @PatrikLaine LW - Bob Helminen @Big Bob D - Spencer Elsby @Spence King D - Erik Summers @Erik Summers D - Emi Rune @Emi G - Zamboni Driver @Tape-to-Tape Retirees Center - Hiroshi Okada @enigmatic (Selected 9th overall by Calgary in S69) Career Numbers with Helsinki: 360GP / 133 G / 197 A / 330 P / +38 / 51 post-season points in 48 games Okada will surely be missed by every member of the organization. Hiroshi was an example of high skill and tenacity that every club desires to have in a player. After being a staple of the Titans top six for the last five seasons, Okada deserves every ounce of enjoyment that retirement brings. RW - Jared Spaz @Spaz (Selected 8th overall by the Titans in S70) Career Numbers with Helsinki: 360GP / 126 G / 127 A / 253 P / +42 / 43 post-season points in 48 games Spaz brought everything you could ask for from a player each and every game. While he may have gotten the short end of the stick as a third liner early in his career, Spaz took every opportunity over his five seasons to show his immense skill-set and became a household name not only in Helsinki but league wide. Thank you to both of these amazing members of the VHL community! VHLM Graduates RW - Dan Dan @MMFLEX (Selected 18th overall in S75). Dan shows incredible promise and is a shoe-in for the Titans top six for the foreseeable future. Through 163 games with three VHLM clubs Dan amassed 181 points while also displaying his physical side tallying 345 hits. LW - Vick Fairchild @GreenGato (Selected 31st overall in S75). The play-making winger projects into the Titans top six and possesses a high ceiling as he carries an 83 point campaign with Yukon into his VHL rookie season. RW - Victor Foles @Suzuki14 (Selected 45th overall in S75). Foles owns a big frame ready to wear and tear his opponents down while also presenting a hunger for offense. The late bloomer showed high promise improving to 52 points with Saskatoon this past season. Look for Foles to hold down a role in the Titans top nine this coming season. D - Kate Upton @OscarTheSwagDude (Selected 46th overall in S74). Upton has been a steady defender in the VHLM consistently finishing her three seasons with 38 to 39 points. The stay at home defender will find a role in the Titans middle four. We expect her skill-set to rapidly improve during the off-season and throughout training camp. D - Gustav Hjalmarsson @McLovin (Selected 34th overall in S75). Hjalmarsson is hoping to carry a 78 point campaign with Mississauga into his professional rookie season. A future leadership spot with the Titans is almost a guarantee with Hjalmarsson. The offensive defenseman will see competition with Kate Upton as they fight for a spot on the 2nd defensive unit. D - Chase Crosby @Wreckening (Selected 51st overall in season 74). Crosby dawns the last name of a retired Titan from their previous cup winning season. Crosby has been steadily improving through his three seasons with Las Vegas and has the consistency and mindset to succeed at the VHL level. Throw Crosby's name in the hat for the fight for that 2nd line role.

  6. 1) We're so close to the playoffs and clinched the European division. What's been the key to our success this season. Continuous improvement from every player. Everyone is dialed in and committed to the run. 2) Due to it being the season of giving what's one gift you'd give to @BladeMaiden or @Jubo07? I'd give Blade keys to the locker room 3) What's on your Holiday playlist? I'll go top five movie list on this one; Elf, Home Alone, The Grinch, The Santa Clause, Muppets Christmas Carol 4) What is something that you love about this time of year? (Can be holiday or SIM related) Time off to spend with family and friends. And of course the WJC! 5) Does your player number mean anything to you? Not really. Having #7 for Borwinn was a must for me, but for Vaak I don't really have a number preference. 8. Who's the biggest talker in the locker room? Spaz, Emi and Laine. Heart and soul players every locker room needs.

Gotta factor in the backup goalie. Calgary is 350k under cap.
  9. 1.) First things first, literally yesterday in the wee hours of the night, GM Julian Borwinn was cooking up some trade magic. Gabriel Akerstrom was traded with a S77 HSK 2nd to Vancouver for Emi Rune. My question to the team is what message did you send Akerstrom off with as he embarked on his new journey in Vancouver ? Answer: Wished him all the best with the Wolves. He has a high ceiling still and can certainly be an elite player with continued progression. 2.) If you are lucky in life for every goodbye you get a hello and Helsinki really did luck out this time with being able to welcome the epic D from the city by the sea, Emi Rune. Give Emi some of that world famous Helsinki hospitality! (Notre: Q for Emi : Emi what is the best welcome you got upon arrival?) Answer: It is an absolute pleasure to have Emi join the Titans! She will be a big part of the team for the foreseeable future and I could not be happier to have her in Titans blue. 3.) Last week you all boasted you could out buff the men who invented exercise, Lovin that confidence Helsinki. Considering there have been many team brawls who do you think is the grittiest titan? Who is the strongest but would never use it (aka our gentile giant)? Lastly who would you choose to be your partner in a team wide tag team brawl? I can't wait to see what ya goons say lol Answer: Our gentle giant is Bob Helminen, who is quietly having a career best season. For my tag team partner I would go with the always steady veteran Erik Summers. 4.) Are you surprised to see where we are in the standings? Do you see us pushing all the way again for a 3rd consecutive season! Answer: It has been a rough week. STHS showing its unwelcome side. At this point I cant really speak toward the 3rd concurrent finals until we actually clinch a playoff spot. 5.) Because we are HYPED to welcome a new team member I will put in a question I know that she will love answering. Are you a gamer? What type of games do you love and what game release are you most excited about in the near future (I can hear her screaming CYBER PUNK as i write this lol) Answer: I mostly play Warzone and Rocket League. Had a lot of fun with Forza Horizon for a little while. I'll look to purchase Cyberpunk once the major bugs are patched out. 6.) What made you choose your position and what do you think makes you good at it? Answer: I was a left winger when I played hockey so I feel attachment to that position. Vaak has transitioned to a center to add versatility.
  10. @Webberj Decided to try my hand at a 3rd jersey logo for Houston. I've never been a big fan myself of text in logo's but it seems to work well here IMO.

Best wishes with Vancouver @Mason. I am confident you will thrive with the Wolves. I love nothing more than for the Titans to be built with in house talent, but in this case an opportunity presented itself and we decided to pull the trigger on a deal that made sense for both clubs. I hope you can use this as motivation going forward and give us everything we can handle when the Titans and Wolves match-up. Thank you for your time with the Titans!
  13. @Tape-to-Tape Back to back shutouts buddy!
  14. This is beautiful work @BladeMaiden! Those name plate swaps....
