@JSS, this is where VHLM GM's will offer you a contract and you'll be allowed to choose which team you want to play for. The contract amount is set league wide at $1,500,000 and you'll accept the contract by stating which teams offer you accept in this thread. There is no rush and you will be given time to look around and speak to the GM's and such if you wish! Good luck in the decision making and your career ! On behalf of myself, @BarzalGoat and @McWolf, we'd like to congratulate Team Canada on fighting their way through it and winning the gold medal for the S62 WJC. Further congrats goes to Asia for Silver, USA for Bronze and World and Europe for a strong showing. Lifting this project off the ground, we were on sure of what we'd get with this - but throughout the tournament and the leading to moments, we seen your excitement, enthusiasm and all that wonderful jazz. A final congrats to all the players involved in this S62 WJC's tournament. You all did great! The World Rankings section has now been updated, with Canada taking 1st in the first official rankings update. IT CAN BE FOUND HERE! Potentially over the course of time, we'll evolve the points system for rankings, but for now - ENJOY! Over the next coming days to maybe a week (depending on how busy I am), an update to the ALL-TIME WJC statistics will be done and can be found HERE! FURTHERING, We'll be updating the initial post in that thread, removing S55 from "History" and start fresh with S62. LASTLY, awards for the tournament MVP, Top Forward, Top D-man and Top Goalie will be awarded - likely within the next day or so (depends on your beloved WJC commies). --> HERE! Once again, congrats to everyone involved in the WJC. It was awesome to see it pulled off and even better to see it so well received and enjoyed by those around the boards and on Discord. Feels like this has been a title before, but with me busier than ever on this site, mixing up with work and everything else going on, there's nothing ever wrong with a quick blab. The Quick blab we're going to roll with this week is going to be about how impressed I am with the league lately. Not only have we seen a bunch of new members join, take on some nice roles and prove their activity and efforts immensely, but we've also watched the league grow as a whole too! From the amazing new portal we've watched pop up and continuously get better, to new statistic/rankings and all-time GM stats, to the new updating system, the revival of a successful WJC and so much more. It's crazy to think only a short while ago the league was looking dim. We couldn't see the end, but knew if things continued it wasn't looking to great for those who still love this site. Thankfully, a lot of great people stepped up - new and old, and have contributed to the league in so many ways. I could list a bunch but it takes everyone on this site to make it what it truly is.
