  1. Higgins you don't have to switch or even buy from invision. You can have a domain from anywhere that strictly just redirects you to another site. This URL doesn't change - but like VHL.com could just brings you straight here.
  2. I'm perfectly fine playing 2/3 line minutes for a contender.
  3. It showed up unavailable on godaddy.
  4. Team player. The only stat I care about is wins!
  5. I wasn't around for the video competition :/ Boo
  6. Coach you mentioned the link, even if the site is here on invisionfree, why not buy a shorter domain that just redirects here immediately? Would make sharing a link much easier. Something like victorysim.com/vhlsim.co (which are available), would be pretty cheap, and I always find/hear like $3 discount codes for $3 a month domains.
  7. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  8. The thread that keeps on giving. Made me sort out my player balance!
  9. Yes yes yes. Santana a decent one year option with the cap space. A quiet offseason by additions, but an outstanding offseason for ensuring they keep their young stars long term. Excited about the long term future, another division title run perhaps? Not 1, not 2, not 14...
  10. I've seen talk of onboarding, have we thought about trying water boarding? No?
  11. You'll end up with more points than you lost due to the vhlm AT, practice facility, and I believe more money because you'll be on a vhlm pay instead of against your teams cap. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I was mad about the tpe lost too. In my case I was gonna be forced into the VHL initially - unlike you who has been in the vhlm this whole time, and I had to fight to stay in the vhlm both for myself and for a whole slew of reasons for Riga. At the end of the day, Victor allowing me to take back some things to stay in the vhlm, even though it meant losing out on points I earned, was a benefit to me. One the league didn't have to give me. Same for you - they could just say screw it, you're in the VHL, that's the rule. You complain about your interest or motivation, but trust me, sitting on the bench for a season in the VHL, missing out on awards and playing time, and extra vhlm points to ride the pine - those things would be a lot more demotivating to you. That could be the outcome, if they weren't willing to work with you to work around it. Be mad if you want. I was, and I made an ass of myself. But this has to happen to me, it has to happen to you, and other players who are close to ensure that the rules are no longer blurry and grey.
  12. You and me both when it happened to me - but it's better for the league that it does get fixed. Someone has to be the first one that doesn't get away with it. If that's me, and you're second, then the league is going in the right direction. It's going in the wrong direction if I get the fair ruling and you get an old ruling.
  13. Also if you could just "keep" the points hidden but not updated, I would've started my vhlm season with around 250 tpe. I lost out on contract money, training camp, I believe part of a donation to the league, and maybe a weeks worth of mag pay just to stay down. I didn't get those points at the end of the season and I shouldn't have. At the beginning of the season you should either be below or above 175 earned tpe whether you are hiding it and not updating it or not. I've never understood why this was so hard to understand and enforce.
  14. My next player I'm earning 900 tpe but not adding a single one and staying in the vhlm. My last season I'll add all my points, come up, and win rookie of the year and MVP in my one season and retire. Clearly acceptable as long as I don't update them.
  15. Nah it's Jar Kool Son. Which is way cooler anyway. Thanks!
  16. I'm just nitpicking because I'm about the only person who lost tpe because of it. And frankly I don't want it back, I think that was the right way to go about it. Yet I caught shit for doing it that way and everyone else is a victim.
  17. Personally I obviously think it should be the same. If you forfeit points to stay under the cap then you should be in the vhlm - but you shouldn't magically get those points back at the end of the season. They should be gone for good.
