Gaudette Undercover. With the General Manager of Canada at the World Junior Championship What was your reaction on becoming the General Manager of Team Canada? I was pretty excited. I saw the roster and knew that it could be a good season. I'm glad to get my feet wet as a GM. Looking at your roster who do u suspect to be the highest performer on the team and Why? Barabash Jr. I expect he will play a strong game at both ends of the Ice and contribute as a scorer and a playmaker. Now Do u feel you have a shot at Gold? And if it wasn't you who do u think would get it? I think we have a team that could take gold. We aren't as strong as some years but I'm hoping with some strategy and work ethic we can take it. USA and Europe are both looking strong. They will have the easiest paths for sure. It's a coin flip on who would win though. Now I see you haven't selected a full roster at the time of this interview. But who do u feel will get those last few spots on the team? (This is the full roster size this season) Van Lagen and Forsyth were my outside picks. There were two other guys who could've gone as well but these two fit our needs better. Next Up we have Dill the commissioner of the World Junior Championship Okay well to kick things off tonight what was your reaction to getting named Commissioner of the World Juniors? I was excited, having played in the World Juniors before for Canada and winning Gold, I always enjoyed the tournament and having an opportunity to organize it this time around was great. Okay, now what was your thought process to picking the General Managers this past week? We wanted to pick people who we thought had a lot of potential. Problem was, there were so many great candidates who were all willing to learn and wanted the opportunity that it was a difficult decision. In the end though, I think we made the right decision. Now what team do you think looks best on paper? And what team do u believe will win Gold Sliver and Bronze this year? I think the USA has a great team this year and are probably the favourites to win, Although hockey can be quite unpredictable. But my bias opinion: gold: Canada silver: USA bronze: Europe. But next question. What player do you think will lead the tournament in goals, assists and points? Blake Gaudette on his play in Halifax so far. Blake Gaudette as had a great start to the season with thirty seven points in twenty two games which is currently good for tied for second in points in the entire league with Rocky LaGarza and Callum MacElroy. He currently sits two behind the legend HULK HOGAN. He has nineteen assists which is good for tied for 8th in the league and is tied for second in goals with eighteen. Gaudette may be looking to get out of Halifax if they don't start winning before the trade dead line but it all matters on if we can actually find good line combos all we know is that Axelsen and Gaudette play great together. Gaudette currently is riding a seven game point streak where he has seventeen points. Fourteen of those points come in games versus Mississigua Hounds in 5 games. let's just hope we can finish the season strong

Gaudette Undercover, we are back with Acyd Burn who we interviewed at the start of the season back at it again So how do you feel about the teams effort so far this season? I think the team is putting forth the effort, we've been slipping lately. Our depth is lacking a bit. We're very top line heavy with minutes. So they're tired in a lot of situations. We have bolstered the blue line lately so I can't wait to see the effort those guys put out on the ice. Now looking at your old interview you predicted you would have twenty goals and thirty assists do you believe that will happen now? Yes I think it can still happen. the past seven games I've only player between twelve and fourteen minutes so that makes things difficult. I'm at three and eleven right now I believe after twenty so with fifty two games left I will hit the assists and hoping to pick up the goals. Now how do you feel about the goalie situation. Is it fun having there friendly fight for starter in and around the locker room? I think the goalie situation is great, it pushes both goalies and the team knows someone solid is going to be in net. I think everyone is enjoying the competition. How do you feel about our Power Play situation recently and not scoring many goals while having a bunch of attempts? I think our powerplay is lacking. It has improved the past 4 games which is nice. I think we need to try something new, the lines haven't been changed up in a while for the pp and pk so maybe some rotation will do us good. Now what about the competition for leading scorer on the team? Which is currently being lead by Axelsen and Gaudette tied at 30? I know Axelson is more of a playmaker than a sniper so the fact the goals are similar is interesting. I think it pushes the team to be better because it's not one person leading the team. Do u feel this will be your only VHLM season or will you stay back for another year? I think I'm going to be one and done, I should hit the criteria for vhl by the end of the season. So far after playing here for a few weeks who is the player that you have the most chemistry with on the ice and off the ice? That would have to be gunnarson and Johnson were all hanging out joking and gave each other's backs. Well thank you for joining me tonight.
