  1. How do you predict the series going against Halifax? Unfortunately we lost, but that's life and hockey. Sometimes you lose but you learn from it. What players from each team do you think will have the biggest rivalry in the series? The top point scorers from each team. A Red Guy vs Gunnarsson, who has the better performance? Their goalie came out on top, with a lights out performance Prediction for the winners of first round and why? We definitely could have put in a better performance, but it is what it is. Who is your prediction for MVP of the playoffs? MVP doesn't matter and I don't know the other players. Any takeaways from the season before we hit the playoffs? The season was outstanding, big props to the entire team and GM, we did amazing, shooting up the standings near the mid to late season. We shouldn't look at our loss and be ashamed, but be proud of what we showed we can do as individuals and as a team.
  2. Sometimes you take a step back in order to take that leap.
  3. I apologize for not being great at graphics, but I was low on time this week. To be fair, I took the time to take out all San Jose stuff, so it could be a little more believable. I'm sorry if you don't think I put time into my work, and I've seen graphics with similar looks of effort get TPE. Its fine if you don't give me the TPE, but notice that for me, this takes time because I am still learning the program (photopea) on MY time. I truly want to get better at it, and unfortunately until I get better you will have to see shitty graphics like this.
  4. It may be helpful to newer people to explain how to claim the extra TPE for events like this, as not everyone has been through it before, and the system can be confusing at times. You explain how to get it, just not how to claim it.
  5. Someone delete this shit stupid file didn't upload.
  6. Another crazy year for the VHL, as they are successful enough to branch out to 2 more locations and teams. The question is, where are these locations? Many speculate to see another North American team, more likely to be United States. Could we see teams in Colorado? Idaho? California? The possibilities are endless as the VHL has been very unpredictable in terms of expansion, which keeps things nice and new. Personally, I would like to see a Fresno team, to reignite the Fresno Falcons legacy, but that is a long-shot from many a point of view. The VHL Commissioner has not yet spoken on the details of the teams being expanded, but we will start to see the picture once off season rolls around. With the VHL expanding, many more players are given the chance to play hockey for the VHL, and we see the VHL expanding even more so in the near future. We wish the best of luck to the two GM's that will be taking over the two new expansions, @diamond_ace and @Enorama

  8. How have you dealt with the pressure to keep up this recent strong run of results? I've been keeping my legs going and staying healthy. It's a team effort and we have come together strong this season, were only getting better from here.Which unit on the team do you think would be the reason the team wins the cup, and why? I think the only unit that should matter is the entire team.Who has stepped up as a real leader in the locker room down the stretch for Yukon? I like the way Draven and Flowers lead, To be a player that grinds it out every night and not complain, or be that unselfish passer with no need to score goals himself, I'll take those guys any day.If you could add any player currently on another VHLM roster to the Rush, who would it be and why? If we would, It would just be a role player, we have our core. How important is the team's impending 4-game stretch against Philadelphia and Ottawa to our playoff momentum? It's huge, we wanna stay as hot as possible rolling into the playoffs. Showing we can fight against these tough teams shows we can make it to the end. Which team would you want to face in the Cup Finals the most and why? Give us the top team, we can take them.

    S67 WJC Predictions

Gold: Canada Silver: Europe Bronze: USA MVP: Cody Smith
  11. 1) With the trade deadline on Monday, what type of moves do you think the team requires to compete? Already passed, but we made the right moves. Wright is a good role player that can help our defensive end. 2) Which team do you predict to win the WJC and why? I think Canada has a good chance. 3) Have you performed up to your expectations so far this season? I think I have played well, Defense needs to be better, and I could possibly score more in different lineups, but that's not my choice, and I will play my hardest no matter what. 4) Who would you say the MVP of the team has been for the first half of the season? Plunkett, man has he just been the lights out guy we need. 5) What has been your favorite game so far this season? No one in particular, just the games we win. 6) What is your favorite pass time other than hockey? Watching other sports, or spending time with family.
  12. Here we are, every team is pretty much at 40 games played. The Reapers continue to be the league's top contender, and the Storm fall down to 3rd in the standings whilst the Lynx (2) and Reapers (1) still have a game in hand. Yukon sits 6th with 51 points, and there's only a 4 point difference between the Bulls (4) and the Rush who again, sit at 6th in the standings. Given the minor break in the Storm's early season surge, and the tight race in the middle of the standings, Yukon is not in a bad spot at all. Yukon has some areas of weakness, but has recently acquired C Nate Wright that we expect to make a difference in this Yukon lineup, and GM Josh has definitely made it clear he wants to make a push. Nate Wright (C) Coming from the Mexico City Kings for a S68 YUK 3rd round pick, Nate Wright has allocated 12 points so far this season, which is a good amount given he is coming from a rebuilding team, and only been able to muster 31 games this season. He has been looking healthy, and has been an amazing addition to the two way role. By filling this role, Yukon's scorers are able to do what they do best. A young unselfish player, and will soon get his turn at the wheel. Being able to hold a role position so well and continue to produce, shows true leadership for the future of Yukon. Andrej Petrovic (D) One player that has come out strong and is one of Yukon's top producers is Petrovic. A decent sized defense man, with a blistering first step and an eye for teammates sticks. With 21 assists already in the season, Petrovic is not joking around. He wants to win. A plus minus problem at the beginning of the season, but he has reduced it, whilst continuing to put up good shot blocking numbers. He has been doing his job and Yukon is happy about it.

  14. Lets talk standings. Yukon sits in the dead center of the pack, sitting at a modest 37 points on the season, comparing to the top (Philadelphia Reapers-53pts) and the bottom (Mississauga Hounds-13 pts). So we can confidently claim Yukon as a middle of pack contender for the time being. Yukon continues to stagnate coming out the second quarter of the season, Dropping 3 games while only taking 2 in the past 5 games. Yukon's coaching staff was obviously displeased with the start to the mid-season, and are looking to make "small to moderate" changes to the lineup. Besides the slight bumps, Yukon still has bright spots and even brighter futures for the players in the organization. Frans Eller (C) Frans Eller is that two way player that you need on every team, but so far this season he has broken out to be almost a point per game player for the Rush. With 31 points in 32 games and a +/- of 15, He has shown he can make the next step to be the all around superstar with a quik stick, as Eller shows great positioning and stick work on the defensive end. If Eller can continue producing and truly mold into a dynamite all around center, I'd bet on Yukon being a huge contender in the near future, and maybe even a Captain. Justin Rushmore (W) Another player doing his job well is Justin Rushmore. With 20 points, (11G 9A) Rushmore is another Yukon player keeping up well with point totals and producing. With a big 6'5" frame, and 222 pounds of straight hockey strength, he has good speed and stick handling for a player his size. Rushmore has come out strong and confident, taking lots of shots and getting a good amount of physical play in. There is still more season left, and we expect to see Rushmore get even more physical, and await his point totals at the end of the season. Thanks for tuning in to the Yukon articles, I will continue to review the developing players on the Yukon Rush team and analyze the teams success, and failures.
  15. Review: Good piece, good way to keep up with the leaders.
