Coming in as an underdog and being passed off to team Asia by his qualifying country Jimmy Spryo decided to make a name for himself. Going 7-0-1 with a .932 save percentage in the round robin and going 1 -1 with a save percentage of .903 in the medal games. Spyro is a great player and has a bright future in the league!

Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to all who participated in this tournament. The WJC is a great place for new members to gain experience and learn how the league is run. I had a blast running this tournament and I feel it's one of the better events the VHL holds.

1. Not even surprising at all, but can’t slow down because of it.
2. Theres still plenty of time left in the season, and with a team like this I don’t know what records we can’t break.
3. I’d say Houston(sorry!) are definitely out of it but the other teams are a bit closer, and it’s too early to say.
4. Most goals in one game, and my favorite one is less shots against  . I’m sure there will be plenty of other records we shatter too!
5. I used to hate Calgary simply because I’m a Carolina fan and I hate Bill Peters. Now that Peters is gone, Calgary winning a cup wouldn’t bother me ?. 
6. Nope, just waiting til Christmas!
 

Only forty-five games played and the behemoth of VHLM season 69 has already mathematically secured their playoff spot. After losing game three they have had a solid win streak ever since then, taking two points in every game.

When asked whether he would start saving players a bit for the playoffs, GM Peace replied, "We're not taking our foot off the pedal now!"

The team is lead in points by DeYeeto, who also leads the league with a pretty decent 91 points at 2 points per game; partnered up with the league's 2nd best defender in Encarnacion.
 
Lafontaine has played a key role in the team's succes in goal too with .905 SV% and three shutouts.

1. We’ve got everything sorted for Christmas down here but doesn’t matter where I go now there are Christmas decorations up!
2. Hockey 100%. I like soccer too, but hockey means everything to me.
3. I’m pretty young and unfamiliar with them but I'd say Orr.
4. I haven’t watched anything other than mighty ducks so I’ll go with that.
5. I’d go from Mexico City to Huntsville, AL. Huntsville is somewhere I’ve been before and you’d be surprised how much they love hockey. Birmingham Alabama also had an NHL team at some point, and I feel like that area could handle a team now.
6. I don’t know what the record is, but we’re breaking it!

1. I got an assist in my first game so I'm pretty excited. Ice time isn't a concern for me.
2. I think someone from Saskatoon will lead in points at the end of the year if we keep this up, but in the end finishing first in scoring isn't our main goal.
3. I'm from Finn too actually, when I got here I noticed a lot of rosters were missing players and roles, now they're getting a little more well rounded. As long as we welcome them here and make it easy for them to understand how to get a good amount of TPE a week and just settle in, in general.Saskatoon really has helped me settle in here, and I hope it's the same for other teams.
4. I love it here, everything makes sense and I feel like I know what I'm doing.
5. I don't have a single team I think of as a rival yet. Team rivalries and player rivalries are a little different, based on how the player feels  about the other teams. But I wish to beat every team and go straight for a cup!
6. The turkey, and the family and friends. Thanksgiving is always a great time for me because there's a lot of my family that i get to see that I don't see often.

Saskatoon Wild is currently on an almost unprecedented winning streak of 17 games in a row (hard to find stats, it's probably not a league record but should be up there both for the league and internally for the franchise).

The perhaps the most titillating potential scenario would be for a defenceman to win the league in points, which is actually a real possibility with how @Cran and @Tagger are currently performing.



Nine. Yes, NINE, players are above one points per game for the Wild currently, and with a depth to almost cover all lines with active players.  Which leads us on to....

Las Vegas Aces have been on a bad stretch, not only in terms on ice and losing nine in a row, but also with @Matt_O stepping down as GM. Whomever takes over that role has @Higgins to build around, but it will be a tough season or two. Sin City will rise again, I am certain.

Hello and thank you for reaching out for me, and I'd love a spot on the Saskatoon Wild! 

1. Well really, my personal goal is just to improve. I joined earlier today and wasn't expecting such a quick offer but I've found myself in the best hands I could possibly be in. 
2. I know Edwin has some catching up to do but I think he'll take it anyway. It's very nice seeing 4 of the top 10 being members of the Wild!
3. Well uh.... haven't played my first game yet!

5. Something that brings out more of the culture in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan would be very nice! While Wild is a fitting team name, Saskatoon is grain farming central and the team could use a better fitting name and maybe more fitting colors, I'd go with a piece of grain as the logo and I'd have purple and yellow unis
6. Oh Chelsea Dagger easily. Not a hawks fan but the opponents will have it stuck in their head after they leave ?
