Today, we're catching up with Jaime Hill of the Yukon Rush. The Rush failed to make the playoffs, so we'll be visiting her at her home in Surrey. When we asked her about how her offseason was going, she had a lot to get off her chest. "Well honestly, at the beginning of the first week I was so disappointed about missing the playoffs that I just kind of went into hermit mode at home. I quickly realized that was no way to deal with disappointment though, and immediately started hitting the gym and trails around here. I've also been catching up on some gaming, which is something I don't have much time for during the season. NHL15 just came out, and I've been playing some of that with Sachimo Zoidberg, along with some World of Warcraft and Diablo 3. It's mostly just a way to pass the time. I really can't wait for the draft, I'm really excited to enter the next phase of my career. I'm hoping to stay on a team with Zoidberg because he's been my biggest supporter and mentor, but we'll see what happens. As much as I'd like to play with him, it would also be quite fun to play against him. No matter what though, I'll be happy wherever I get drafted. I don't see myself going very high, as I entered the VHLM so late in the season. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised! I just can't wait to get back out on the ice, I feel like a part of me is missing when I'm not playing." Well, we hope Hill and the rest of her teammates have a great offseason.

Gorlab, I'm pretty sure he loves you more than me. That said, whoever drafts Zoidberg should totally draft me, so they have the first VHL couple on their team >.>

Jaime Hill joined the VHL a little under a month ago, and within the first two weeks quickly made a name for herself. Showing great enthusiasm and being mentored by her longtime friend and teammate, Sachimo Zoidberg, she quickly proved to be an asset to the Yukon Rush. Her defensive play saw her quickly leading the team in hits and shot blocks, though she only played in 27 games this season due to joining the team late. Despite a valiant effort, it wasn't enough to help the Rush get to the playoffs. When asked how she felt about it, Hill had this to say. “Of course I would have loved to make the playoffs. Everyone's dream is to get to the playoffs and win the cup. The team has been great, but ultimately we just didn't have what it takes I suppose. I will take what I've learned this season and apply it to my game so that I can become the best player I can as I move forward in the VHL. I'm not giving up on my dreams of someday becoming a top defender in this league, something like not making the playoffs is not going to keep me from achieving my dream.”

Thanks guys! Jala had kinda confused me because he explained fights the way you had (the number of PM5/5 = how many fights) but then today told me that it was 10 instead. He was right the first time!
