  4. I also don't like how recreates can time it perfectly so they get an extra VHLM season before they get drafted and start their VHL clock when I joined like a week early and lose that season in my career That by itself made me want to quit the league because it puts me at such a disadvantage but luckily I got picked to a VHL team with a few guys I know from other leagues
  5. You have a weird love of the minor leagues...
  6. I enjoy making the media spot list. I feel accomplished
  7. Yeah Boom recruited me. I saw his post about the VHL in the SBA
  8. Bobby Ricky and the “offseason” After a disappointing Game 7 loss in the playoffs on the Brampton Blades, Bobby Ricky spent his offseason in his hometown in North Dakota working on his game as he prepared for both the VHL and VHLM draft. As someone who never spent a lot of time on the fundamentals of the game, he really focused on learning how to be a hockey player instead of a pure shooter. That could logically only mean one thing… figure skating lessons. Day one was a day of great failures with little success. Bobby Ricky had no natural ability to skate and multiple times during his high school and VHLM games he would fall down with no one around. This led to great frustration and a great amount of profanity as Bobby fell time and time again. However, day two was one of vast improvement as Bobby Ricky felt so confident and inspired after learning some basic moves that he decided he would enter the local figure skating competition. Of course, this meant hours and hours of training to prepare for such immense competition and that’s what he did, training with his coach for hours and hours each day. Not only did he have to train on the ice but also in the gym, but since his coach wouldn’t allow him to wear headphones or listen to music, he had to do some motivational signing on his own to keep him going… All of his hard work finally led him to competition day which consisted of two dances and a final judge scoring to determine the winner. For his first dance, Bobby Ricky went with a rocker theme, wearing tight leather pants with a leather biker jacket and a bedazzled red shirt. He started nice and slow with some motioning as he skated backwards before doing some nice turns and flips but it was noting spectacular as he was given a score of 3 on the 6 point scale. Completely exhausted, Bobby Ricky decided to give himself an energy boost so he snuck off to the bathroom to snort some “powdered sugar” up his nose. Now energized and feeling super, he stormed onto the ice in the middle of another participants dance and proceeded to give a scintillating performance on the ice wearing a very flamboyant outfit. With perfect jumps and turns, he was given a perfect 6 score and looked like he was a professional out there. Dat form though... With his perfect six on his second dance, Bobby Ricky ended up winning the competition and gave a brief interview to the local news reporter. Reporter: How does it feel, as a hockey player to win this competition? Bobby Ricky: It feels great, I feel great, I am great, everything is great. I just went out there and made the ice my bitch. I feel so exhilarated right now, like I could just skate so long that I would skate through all the ice. Is it hot in here? Like I know we’re on ice but like it’s hot in here right? Anyways, it feels great to win, I’m great. This whole town can get on their knees and suck my d.. Reporter: That’s enough Bobby. Back to you in the studio.
  9. After being drafted by the New York Americans and defending champs, Bobby Ricky was beyond happy to get a chance to play with some of the best in the league, however he quickly found out that he was drafted by the Ottawa Lynx in the VHLM draft and will be shipped off to Canada for another season in the VHLM. With too many emotions for a now 19-year-old kid to handle, he did what any kid would do. Drink and drink and drink some more until he felt no emotion. This plan went about as well as one would expect with him sending his nudes to all the contacts in his phone with a winky face emoji. Of course, this led to a TMZ report on this no-name hockey player sending his drunk junk to everyone. This type of shenanigans is what we have come to expect out of Bobby Ricky and it should worry the New York Americans as he works his way towards the VHL.
  10. I know for a fact that you did more than what you're saying in this thread
  11. Who vents to have fun? I think Shane is working hard to have things for members to have fun with. If members would rather bash him for not allowing a name like God and not have fun, that's on them.
  12. The forum doesn't allow us to send an automatic welcome message. The NCAA system really isn't that confusing if you read the rulebook. Its actually pretty simple. The SBA allows people to have fun with their names but there is a difference between creative names and names that offend multiple members. Honestly, if not allowing the name God takes away your fun from the league then so be it but it seems like a very stupid reason.
  13. Is Bobby Ricky done? After a bad first season in the VHLM, which saw his team, lose in the first round, Bobby Ricky has been debating on whether or not to retire from hockey for good and go to work on a farm in his hometown in North Dakota. Bobby hasn’t seemed to generate much interest outside of what his current GM sees in him and there has been no word on any teams in the VHL looking to draft a player who fits the exact mold of so many other more established players. Ricky knows his game is to score goals, he has the shooting ability to do that but it isn’t enough to create interest in the pros where everyone can score. With his hockey future in doubt, he met up with his high school newspaper and shared his feelings on the process so far: While Bobby Ricky’s old high school let him say some words in their newspaper, it has been reported that their coach has made sure that he stays away from all players and practices. Bobby Ricky caused more trouble than a hungry snake in a field of mice during his time in high school and that seems to be the reasoning behind this. Ricky has always been scouted and reported as having a short fuse with a party mindset. He was well known for putting vodka in a water bottle and drink it during high school games as well as smoking weed with a couple teammates on long bus rides to other schools. For most players, they would have been kicked off the team immediately but he scored goals on a team that needed scoring so the coaching staff allowed him to play as long as he was smarter with his act. Apparently, his act hasn’t become smarter with time. It was reported when he scored his first VHLM point that he went clubbing at a gay bar and getting black out drunk. There have also been reports that Bobby Ricky continues to smoke weed on a daily basis, by himself because the minors don’t pay him enough to share (at least that’s what his Instagram says). But even through all of this, you would expect that a player with even the smallest of promise will get taken in the VHL draft but you have to think whoever picks him is willing to take a long-shot chance with him. There will be more info to follow as the draft gets closer.
  14. Thanks for the kind words. It was awesome to play for you this year
  15. You should bring these back for the SBA
  16. Wow 6 goals in the third period. That's impressive
  17. Bobby Ricky scouted by VHL teams? When Bobby Ricky entered the VHLM, it wasn’t even talked about in the media as he was a high school hockey player that had the ability to shoot the puck but his lack of other hockey skills as well as his off field antics led him to not even be recruited by the smallest of hockey college programs. With no other options to earn a living, Ricky entered the VHLM with the smallest of expectations and lived up to those scoring a measly six points in 34 games, while scoring only two goals. However, Bobby Ricky has improved dramatically from his first few games and may have caught the eyes of VHL teams as he is in the draft pool for their upcoming draft. Amid last week’s article on Bobby Ricky’s crazy night out, teams that see that may look away from his young and crazy lifestyle on top of his average skill set, but he has shown signs that his potential is high. He could become one of the best goal scorers in the VHL if a team can get him focused on hockey instead of the other sex, which may be an impossible task for teams. One weird thing also for Bobby Ricky is that he will be a part of two drafts, the VHL draft and the VHLM draft (which is where he should be playing next season). While it may seem weird to most that a player will be in two different drafts in the same offseason doesn’t know how the VHL system works because this is something that all players go through as the VHL team drafts their rights and the VHLM team gets their rights for their league. While Bobby Ricky has made it be known that he wishes he wasn’t in the VHL draft this offseason, he still knows that he has to keep improving to eventually get the call up to the pros and play for whatever VHL team has his rights. With the playoffs in full force and the draft approaching, many scouts have been spotted at Blades games, not really to see Bobby but he’s there so they fill out the scouting report. Most see him as a mid-round prospect that will become a serviceable player in the VHL with time but don’t expect him to win any awards or become a first-line player. Also, many scouting reports list that he is too risky of a prospect to draft as his attitude and immaturity could cause him to get suspended or cause him to not develop as well as they would like. Either way, nobody looks at Bobby Ricky as being a top-flight prospect, especially in one of the best drafts in VHL history. Currently, Bobby Ricky and the Blades are down 2-1 in the playoffs to the Wild and Ricky hasn’t looked great in any of the three games so far. The Blades could get a quick exit from the playoffs if things don’t change soon and Bobby Ricky could play a small part in any success that the Blades reach. Hopefully, the Blades and Ricky can turn it around and win this series and the VHLM championship.
  18. After feeling like a hot piece of man meat after scoring his first VHLM goal, Bobby Ricky has been spitting game at any decently attractive lady with little success. Being 18 years old doesn’t work to his advantage as most women see him as an uneducated, immature, hockey punk. However, nothing stops him from trying to get the ladies. Teammates and coaches have said that if he spend half as much time focusing on hockey instead of going after the ladies he would be a superstar player instead of a player who has 4 points in 29 games. As for his success rate, here is a tidbit of what he attempts to woo women with: You tell me if you think this is good enough to get the babes but it seems like the only woman he’s been able to take back to his place is his mother to do his laundry and cook for him. Maybe with time he can develop his game with the ladies and maybe spend some time on the ice as well… maybe
