Uncalled for smh

Minor inconveniences like people forgetting turn signals. Drive back was much, much worse. Subway isn't the best, just something I used to have in college since it was across the street. Went for the first time in NJ in like, 5 years. Haven't had it in NJ since I was in high school and had practice on Saturdays and needed something quick and close by.

Definitely very vague, but it's just so people have as much room for creativity and interpretation as possible. Y'all are more creative than we are for sure.

Tbf it was thought of since there was more than one vote for the theme to be "Why Spartan is a Bad GM." But then it was made CoC friendly and got a happy spin. I don't know if it's been used at all in the past, but I'd think it's hard for there not to be overlap over 85 seasons.

I learned how to win Victory Cups I guess. You never showed me how to win a Continental Cup though. So the past 5 seasons are your fault.

To be fair, I've dropped a couple jobs and most of my positions are mainly offseason intensive. Financier, M commish, GM. I was asked to lower my workload if I wanted to take on the green role, so I'd imagine in the super off chance that Blue was thrown at me, I'd be dropping more roles. That being said though, I'm very happy with Green and the M right now. Plus I can pester Blues and help them get stuff done in the background anyways since I have almost the same access as them.

As a person bearing a stache (mainly so my upper lip doesn't get cold), I would vote Tate for third commish

1. Honestly, I think we just needed some time. We had a lot of new faces join the team in the offseason and we didn't have enough time to get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses and to build some chemistry. Now it seems like we're all on the same page and doing great! 2. Well, I know that producing offense is one of the main reasons I was brought to the team, and I consider it the same for Leduc and Miklavz. It's our responsibility at the least, to keep driving offense for the team. I still think that our depth pitches in every night to make our lives easier though. As long as we're winning games, it means we're producing enough offensively. 3. Brandt has really been the rock of the team when we were building chemistry and really figuring out who we were. He's held down the fort in net well enough to allow us to stay in playoff contention, and now since our offense has sparked, we're back to looking like a playoff bound team. 4. New shin pads at the least, I'm sure Power and Powers' are pretty worn out. Maybe a voucher for a spa and a massage as well . 5. I'd probably say spiders since I never know which ones are venomous and which ones aren't. You'd think I'd be afraid of snakes by now with all the incidents we've had recently. 6. The team continues to play well in all facets of the game. And that's really it, everyone needs to do their job and do the basic things - score goals, don't allow goals against. Block shots, get pucks on the net, and play responsibly. It's a simple, winning formula and if we follow it, we'll keep winning.

We'll be there when you've got the time again. Until then, hope the kids stay healthy and happy, enjoy the time off with them!

Quite a lot going on on the road during that recording. I doubt any of it makes sense.

I'd support it tbh

Forgot to tag @VHLM GM for the post right above this

@Gustav and I have discussed this since it's a fair point and we want there to be as much flexibility as possible. Our main concern with only requiring the minimums to be met at the time of the draft is that a GM will end up in a significantly unfavorable position that will end up harming their team further - the opposite of our intent with this change. For that reason, we are adding the following addendum (wording may change in rulebook for clarity): - All teams must be compliant with draft pick rules and restrictions by the TDL prior to the respective draft. (Example, HOU has until the S86 TDL to be compliant for the S87 Draft) This should allow teams to dabble with future picks should they choose to do so, while giving them plenty of time to meet the updated draft pick rules. We hope this provides more flexibility for teams trying to make trades and adds some spice to trade deadlines as a side benefit.

1. Honestly I'd point the finger at myself to start here, even though I'm leading the team in points, I'm not putting up points consistently when it matters. Some games feel like I haven't shown up at all, and I just need to be a bit better and bit more consistent across games. 2. On a team this offensively talented, there's going to be a lot of mouths to feed. Everyone wants to score points and win awards, but at the end of the day, we just need to be winning games and putting ourselves into a position for playoffs. I'm very happy with Dogwood Maple on my wing for finding a way to contribute with points, and with Eagles and Puk for chipping in when they can as well. Both are picking up speed as the season goes along and the team is in a bit of a drought now offensively, their points will come soon as well. 3. We've been rotating lines and players a bit, I think we're still trying to see what works for this team long-term. No one's happy with the record but we're working every day to improve and climb up the standings. 4. To be fair, DC has played fewer games and we've been offensively anemic recently. When the team plays better as a whole, the points will flow. I'm more concerned about winning games than getting my points up. 5. Honestly, the rookies. This is their first taste of VHL action and they've been thrown right into the fire, alongside very experienced and talented players and told "we're going for a championship." It's a lot of pressure with very high expectations, but they've handled it well and will be a big reason for our success this season. 6. Score goals and let in fewer goals. Simple as that

What? I don't know how that was the conclusion. I said we didn't touch any sliders or how skills worked. You still need to invest TPE into your attributes to get better. There's no set level like "hit 99 to be the best" but generally the threshold for a stat is around 85 to be elite.
-
That was the intent behind the change. Before the change, it was just "99 SC, 40 PA, 99 DF, 99 SK/PH." It was stale, it was boring, no one really enjoyed it. Now people are forced into having unique builds and can prioritize what they'd like. It's led to much healthier player building where there is a level of "ok, I wonder how this TPE investment will work," that promotes experimenting and trying to build towards a niche. There were no adjustments as to how things work in the sim, the only change is lowering the values you can hit. Instead of 99 SC, you can get a max of 94 SC. It'd cost like 500 TPE (exaggeration) but that's the max. That's just because you are a high TPA player, and that's how incremental gains have always worked. Once you get to the elite tier, you have to spend a lot more to marginally improve. If it was too easy to get to high attribute values, then we'd be back in the 99 everything rut and it'd suck. Also skills do work the same, I'd say that even work better than before now that we're not forcing the sim to find which group of 99's is superior. The engine was not designed for 99's, we changed it up. Now attributes are working closer to intended.
