New York Americans Press Conference Questions

Tbh I much prefer to put in earbuds and blast music. I just need to toss in some dramatics for the sake of the podcast. -
There is no way we raise the M cap to allow for 400 TPE players to dunk on 30-40 TPE new creates. We're going to lose so many players to a lack of engagement and interest if their brand new players do absolutely nothing against far superior competition. If it turns out we don't have the numbers for the E, and/or the VHL/M can handle the players from the E, we can discuss reverting back to the old 250 or maybe even a raised 300 cap. Until then though, the E isn't getting deleted. What's the point though? It's the same hard cap as the E but now you're ruining first gen development as well.

Sorry about the novel rejection, that's super sad to hear but I hope you're able to find alternative avenues to getting it published. Regarding this point though, it is common for updates to go slowly in the offseason since there aren't sims, and updaters are also chilling during this time since there's minimal urgency. The entire queue was cleared before first sims on Wednesday though, so everyone who submitted in the earlier half of the week would have been approved. Your earliest pending update seems to have been posted and claimed Thursday evening, so we're still in the general 24-48 hour approval period. It should be approved p soon though, I'll try to clear stuff later in the day.

What? I was explaining the situation to him since he claimed Acyd was being biased. I'm not the VHFL manager either, idk why you think I'm the one who got him DQ'd lol.

Can you link to the response please? I'm not seeing it in the thread, maybe I'm just completely missing it.

Let's break this down real quick again: You were tagged at 2:23 AM (EST) on Monday by Qripll You didn't make a pick and were DQ'd at 7:05 PM (EST) on Monday by Acyd You replied to the DQ at 5:50 PM (EST) on Tuesday That's 40 hours for a response since the time you were initially tagged on Monday morning. I didn't say you had 40 hours to pick, you missed your pick by that much time. Also, Sadie didn't affect your pick since her pick is after you. And I still don't see how group pace affects anything since everyone else made their picks within 12 hours and you were tagged for every pick as well.

He made a pick within the timeframe, and the group kept moving, there were 3 picks after the retired player selection. He was made aware after the fact that his player was retired, then he reselected his player. The difference is that he actually made his initial pick during his pick window and corrected it after he was made aware, while you simply completely missed your pick window by 40 hours. Feel free to appeal to a blue though if you'd like though, won't stop you there.

Just to chip in since "bias" has been brought up, a slow moving group (the best examples I can see of that are the two Sunday picks which each clocked in at under 12 hours, which is within the timeframe to make a selection) does not equate to missing your pick entirely. You are the only one getting punished for not picking since you were the only person who....missed picks. This isn't biased at all, and the ruling was issued based off the rules and precedent.

Just to clarify, I should have an EXP share on Charjabug so it should level up and evolve.

Hello! I am once again here to announce Moscow's captains. In some level of magic, there is no captain curse this season. Our lovely Seabass is still on this team, becoming one of the very few captains under my tenure to survive a full career in Moscow. Beyond just captains, The Seabasstard and Hard Markinson are officially the only two players (along with Leroy Johnson @Vkobe-v) to spend their full careers on Moscow. It's always been disappointing to have to trade away tenured players and good friends, but I'm very glad that both STZ and Seabass have survived til the very end. After a little bit of roster shuffling and cap movement to become compliant, we once again are set with our roster heading into S85. We feel good about our chances, and as always, the vibes are immaculate. However, the following three members who have been selected to Moscow's leadership team are a major part of the roster's success this season, and will play a large role in Moscow's success this upcoming season. Without further ado, our captains: First Alternate - Jannik Nylen - @DreMin15 Once again remaining with Moscow's tradition to give leadership positions to the most tenured players, Jannik Nylen is a skilled playmaker from the blue line with over 200 assists to his name, along with immaculate defensive and physical metrics. He's averaged well over 100 shot blocks per season, and nearly 700 hits in his career. A recent addition to the Moscow organization via trade, Nylen has committed to the team's goal of winning a cup this season and is a welcome addition to the locker room. We're excited and honored to have his veteran leadership this season and hope to finish his career on a high note! Second Alternate - Hard Markinson - @STZ The first player to survive a full career in Moscow since Vladimir Pavlov (I think). It's been amazing to watch Markinson become one of the best defensemen in the league, in literally every aspect. He's won three Labatte Trophies, one Valiq, one Stolzschweiger and led Moscow to four EU titles and two Victory Cups. He is a lock for the Hall of Fame and to have his jersey retired in Moscow. Until he retires at the end of this season though, we will enjoy every moment he spends on the ice and that we get with him in the locker room. Captain - The Seabasstard - @Seabass Four seasons as an alternate captain, and now his second season as captain. Seabass and The Seabasstard are simply Moscow. He currently lies in third place in Moscow's franchise point rankings, with the potential to pass Duncan Idaho this season. His offensive contributions have been critical to Moscow's success over the last 5 seasons, even though he's been one of the most underrated centers in the league. Like Markinson and STZ, I will cherish the final season of Seabasstard and Seabass before we lose them to retirement, and hope that we can send all three members of our leadership team into retirement with the Continental Cup they deserve. MOSCOW MOSCOW MOSCOW!
