Honestly we rarely do interviews anymore because the answers became highly predictable and all the same so no one else got one either, don’t feel bad.

Bit of a quick turnaround on this one given we were a bit late putting the job posting up. Anyway, the league would like to once again thank @hedgehog337 for a very extended stint as GM of the Riga Reign but all reigns…. Sorry I couldn’t resist… must come to an end eventually. After consideration of all the great candidates that applied the @Commissioner team has decided it’s time for @Lemorse7 to take his place among the VHL GM ranks as the new GM of Riga. Congratulations Lemorse and long may you reign. Yeah I’m not sorry for that one.

Not really for my mom since she's in a different city and also her mother's funeral was 2 days before so oof, kinda a rough year for her. For the wife though we went out for breakfast and I made some steak for supper; plus I roped the kids into helping me hide her gifts around the house for her to find so that was fun. I am a simple man, gimme pancakes and I am a happy boi. This is gonna sound nerdy as hell but does Pro Wrestling count as a sport even if it's all pre-determined? Because if so then good 'ole JR is full of them with the top ones being "Climb the ladder kid, make yourself famous!" and "As God as my witness he is broken in half". Kudos points to whomever can name the matches. If we aren't going to count wrestling though the best call of all time IMO is "And after 22 years... Raymond Bourque!" when he avs won in 2001 and Sakic immediately handed off the cup. Chills every time. ----------------- 1. Are you surprised to see a Seattle Continental Cup victory? 2. New week, new rambling! Probably only a few weeks of this left and then I'll be back to simming but for now, I need that sweet sweet TPE so ramble I must! Obvious thing out of the way, Calaway was traded! Madness, absolute madness! I say that not because I haven't been traded before but because it's been awhile. Calaway has been with DC his entire career and my last player never left Moscow so I haven't been traded since I was dealt from Moscow to London in Lahtinen's final season. Come to think of it Lahtinen got traded a few times... anyway it's been a good while since I received the "you've been traded" notification. I wasn't particularly surprised by it since I had already talked to @FrostBeard a bit ago and I knew I was being shopped around but still, always fun to have a bit of change. Plus Vancouver was one of a very short list of teams I have never played for despite them being in the league since S30. That list now contains only Prague, Warsaw, Chicago, and LA which is pretty crazy. Maybe someday I'll finish off the full list; or maybe I'll be forced to expand the league more and it will make my goal harder to attain. Either way it's cool to finally don the black and white, plus @Frank and I have always gotten on really well so that's fun. Not really much rambling this time I guess since that's likely already enough words.... Trivia is easy, see you all next week!

This should have been done before now but alas I forgot, no other reason really Obviously it has been a bit so you've all cetainly seen that @hedgehog337 has (finally) decided to step down from the GM position of the Riga Reign after quite the long tenure. This leaves us with another GM vacancy that needs filling it. As always the league would like to thank Hedge for his substantial time behind the bench in Riga. It was more about bringing goalie numbers down rather than bringing scoring numbers up but 10-15% is roughly what we were expecting to try and bring things more in line with the historical standard.
