+10 Chicken Wing

Newly drafted Miami Marauder, Chicken Wing, sat down with Miami General Manager Krice to talk about the state of the team and its future. Chicken Wing: Why did you trade for me and think i would be a good addition to the team? Krice: Dakota Lamb who is a Miami Alum reached out an highly recommended you. Miami is a family and so I trusted Lamb and did what I could to acquire you! Wing: What is your plan for this/next season? Krice: Develop and compete. I don’t want to be a bottom feeder team. I want to develop our players each season and compete for a playoff spot. Wing: What was your draft strategy? Krice: My draft strategy is always the same. Draft active members. My example is Blob. I noticed his activity in the VHL discord and I love to bring that energy to Miami. So I moved some picks around and jumped up in the draft to get him. Now with my remaining picks I took chances on members that I hoped would remain active and I feel I did fairly well in that regards. Wing: Do you think our team has what it takes to make it to the play offs this coming season? Krice: I do. It’s going to be a rocky start as everyone starts earning but as the season roles on we will see the results! Wing: Where do you see me playing and how much playing time will I get? Krice: As of right now you are on my second pair 5 on 5. You will be getting power play time and penalty kill time as well. I am going to put you in a position to succeed and if you continue to earn and do well then I’ll move you up to the top line! I wanna thank @Ricer13 for participating in my interview and i'm looking forward to a great season with Miami.

1. i think the reapers will do even better in S74 2. even though i joined late in the season, i enjoyed it very much and glad i had the chance to start out on this team 3. definitely chicken, its my players name 4. i always enjoy a nice cold glass of chocolate milk... or Smirnoff ice is good to celebrate with 5. im sad to leave this team, but will enjoy the new experiences 6. @dlamb (New York AGM ) recruited me and was a big help in showing me how to receive maximum TPE and make my player better -
1. I joined just under a month ago because my friend said it was really fun so i decided to try it. 2. I plan on making edits and doing press conferences like these and answering the trivia to earn as much TPE as i can. 3. I am not very active in the team discord locker room but people seem to be supportive and nice for the most part. 4. If i was drafted by the Marauders i would continue to increase my TPE to make my player better. 5. I am most proud of being active in many sports and trying almost every sport for at lease a season. 6. During this pandemic i have been social distancing with friends to bring me happiness.

Chicken Wing is an aggressive defenceman born in Zielona Gora, Poland. She has grown up her whole life playing mainly hockey, starting off playing in her driveway, she grew up being one of the better players of her age group, whether it be Tykes, Bantam, or Midget. She also played basketball, baseball, and gymnastics, however she was always the best at ice hockey and enjoyed it the most. As she became a teenager, she kept progressing and dominating in minor hockey. In her final game as a 15 year old, where her team won the Polish Midget championship, there was OHL scouts in the crowd. Coincidentally, they were watching her best game ever, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists in a shutout victory. This led to her being drafted by the OHL's Sudbury Wolves at age 16, in the 2nd round of the CHL import draft. She definitely warmed up the bench a lot when she first started out in the OHL, but quickly put in the work, and achieved more excellence to becoming a starter for the Wolves. She is quick to defend the puck in front of her net and carry it up the ice to score a goal. She improved every season with the Sudbury Wolves. Chicken Wing turned out to be a great recruit for the OHL, challenging every teammate to get better and being a locker room leader as well as her production. She still continues to learn more skills, scoring more goals and points as she plays on. After she accomplished everything she could in the OHL, she was ready to move on and see what else was out there for her. She had many offers from several different leagues; however she had her heart set on joining the VHLM. She was told by many that no VHLM team would ever be interested and she would never have a chance at starting a career in the VHLM. Wing took that as a challenge and ran with it. She started practicing shooting, skating, working out and doing anything she could to become the best she could before announcing that she would be taking her talents to the VHLM. Once she did, a few different VHLM teams were offering to sign her. After thinking long and hard about her decision, she chose to join the Philadelphia Reapers. Wing knew she wasn't going to be the best of the best in the VHLM just yet, but she will keep trying and working hard to get better with every game. Chicken Wing is looking forward to growing with the Reapers, and though they may not win the championship this season, she is grateful for the experience and excited to see what's ahead for her future. Philadelphia, PA-I recently just started in the VHL and was surprised by my many offers I received from various VHLM teams. I have some family in Philadelphia that own a chicken company and before I started getting serious about hockey I would work there frying the chickens that I used to name as a kid… kinda sad… RIP my chicken friends:(. Anyway, I spent most of my childhood in Philadelphia which is why I chose to join this team. I have many memories here, trying to hit chickens with hockey pucks, and starting my own hockey team where we used the chickens as nets, since my family could not afford to register me for a league. This team has an amazing culture and I am proud to be a part of it. Even though we are having a rough season, I believe that being on this team was a great choice to improve my skill so i can advance from the VHLM to the VHL. I am off to a great start in this season, with only playing 17 games and scoring 4 points all together. My lucky charm of eating 2 pounds of chicken and drinking a liter of chocolate milk the day before a game has not let me down yet. (214 words)
