GM jobs become available as GMs leave their positions. Generally, this happens during the offseason, and while we hate to see people go, the VHLM is usually hiring then.

Applications are open to everyone, but we'll hire who we feel can make the most difference (new members can make it too!). You can make a great impression on us by earning well, participating actively on the forums and Discord, and being positive and supportive to whoever you come across.

I'm looking forward to seeing where you can go, and maybe you'll be a GM someday!

Just tacking on to Gus' response - the actual application thread will be posted in the Job Applications subforum (under Announcements). I would recommend following the whole subforum if you're interested in league jobs.

That being said, GM jobs are in very high demand and are in turn very demanding. I would recommend looking out for an AGM job to learn the ropes first before trying to make the jump to helming a team yourself.

Also be on the lookout for GM opportunities in the offseason where new members get their best chance at some experience in a GM's position through tournaments such as the WJC and JST. Typically when those applications are opened they'll be posted around locker rooms on discord.
