  5. HC Davos Dynamo Press Conference Week Of September 26th, 2022 - October 3rd 2022 You DON’T have to answer all 9 questions, just 6 of them 1: If your player ever got a tattoo, what would it be? 2: Which VHL logo do you think would work as a future NHL logo? (Let’s say for a new expansion team or something_ 3: If someone made a highlight of all your player's best plays, which song would you like to be in the background? 4: We recently claimed the 3rd spot in the conference, do you think we belong in that spot? 5: Have you watched any NHL preseason games yet this season? 6: Who is your dark horse pick for The Maurice Richard Trophy? (Not Auston Matthews, Leon Draisaitl or Alex Ovechkin) 7: What is an underrated show or movie you enjoy? 8: Have you read any books recently? If so, what was it? 9: Which NBA team is your favorite?
  6. Figured I may explain why I did this. I didn't have an idea for this weeks Point Tasks and the idea of making a news article around a future player that I can make was very appealing to me. This will likely be my next player unless someone decides to claim the name before Mason Jones retires.
  7. Alex - Builder @Alex Philadelphia Reapers S80-S81 GAMES W L OTL P GF GA Regular Season 144 68 62 14 150 510 558 Playoffs 17 7 10 0 14 56 59 It's a great honor to be the one to officially induct Alex into the Reaper's Hall Of Fame. There was no doubt in my mind that Alex deserved to be inducted one day, after all, he did win the Jack Reilly (TOP VHLM GM) in S81 for a reason, being just the third Reaper GM to do so. I served as Alex’s AGM for both seasons he GM’d the team, and since my first day in the organization, Alex felt like a veteran of the league even though it was only his first season as a GM. I think Alex is just a natural at this, and I think many people around this league agree, seeing how quickly Alex became a GM in the big leagues. Alex’s influence on the team was felt long after he was promoted to GM Davos in the VHL, as the Reapers finished 3rd in the VHLM standings, which was just one example of how he set the team up for success for years to come and I think that just reflects how important he was for the organization. If my testimony wasn’t enough to prove why Alex deserves to be in the Reapers Hall Of Fame, I have asked the @KaleebtheMighty to write up a Testimonial for him, as Alex served as his AGM. Testimonial: I remember way back when I was GM-ing Philadelphia. I had just put out a posting for an AGM position. One member stood above the rest; he submitted a resume for the position and just like that Alex was hired. He walked into Philly, and immediately made an impact, he helped transform the Reapers into a great place to play and introduced many cool traditions on the team, like the Reapers Key and the Shrine to Weird Al. Without a doubt, he was deserving to take over the GM position on that team when I moved up to the VHLE and continued to thrive. Even still, he has done incredibly well regardless of where he is! But his time with the Reapers is legendary, and he deserves to be honored as a builder of the Philadelphia Reapers!
  8. Gregory Bates @Tyler Philadelphia Reapers S77-S79 GP G A P +/- PIM Hits Regular Season 216 104 120 224 +29 89 263 Playoffs 10 0 1 1 -1 12 5 When looking for the next player to induct into the Reapers, Gregory’s name stood out from the rest. They were one of our top point getters in the history of our franchise and they also had a long career already in the VHL, it was a little surprising that Gregory wasn’t already inducted. Gregory is currently ranked 8th among all Reapers for points right behind Darius Marimoto. Bates has the 5th most goals for the franchise and 12th most assists. Bates was an absolute juggernaut for the team during their time with the Reapers and I figured now would be a good time to honor them by being the one to induct them into the Reapers Hall Of Fame! I have asked former Reaper’s GM @KaleebtheMighty to write a testimonial for Bates, as they were GM at the time Gregory was a member of the roster. Testimonial: Gregory Bates is one of the select few in the Reaper's history to crack 100 goals. Additionally, with 216 games played in Philly, they finished with 224 points total. Some players struggle to make their mark on a team, but Bates made his name known in S79 with a 110-point performance. Regardless of the situation, it was nearly effortless to plug and play Gregory Bates into any spot in the lineup. He was a great player to wear the Reapers uniform. While there wasn’t successful on the team in the playoffs during his tenure, he was a staple in Philadelphia. The team would not have been the same without him!
  9. HC Davos Dynamo Press Conference Week Of September 19th, 2022 - September 26th 2022 You DON’T have to answer all 9 questions, just 6 of them 1: Would you have picked Slafkovsky 1st overall? 2: Which Player do you think will lead Davos in goals at the end of the season? 3: Which NHL coach do you think will win the Jack Adams this season? 4: If you had to choose one, Which goal celebration does your player do in the VHL? 5: If you had to name your next player the same name as a movie star, which name would you choose? 6: Do you dip your pizza slices in anything? If so, which dip do you prefer? 7: Do you own any posters? If so, which is your favorite one? 8: What is your favorite sports movie or show? 9: Sorry about all the Montreal questions, but do you think Nick Suzuki was the right pick for Captain?
  10. A Michigan goal is also referred to as the Svechnikov goal. It's sort of like a wrap-around but with the puck balanced on the stick.
  11. I've been trying to get better at doing Logo replacements, so I figured I'd try to do something unique with this Graphic.

  19. Good Evening VHLers! Welcome to the S84 Reaper Awards, hosted by yours truly. Tonight we will honor five current members of the Philadelphia Reapers Roster and celebrate our accomplishments as a team this season. I’d like to start out by personally thanking every player that wore the Reaper Jersey this season, it was a privilege to GM for you and I wish you luck wherever you end up next season! This is the fourth Reaper Award show I have personally hosted, though the show dates back to S78 starting with then GM @KaleebtheMighty so I’d like to thank them for starting this tradition and creating the banner you’ll see here tonight. Now join me as we now begin the Seventh Reaper Awards! Ladies and Gentlemen! We begin this show by awarding The Reserve Reaper Award, this is often the first award handed out during the ceremony but it doesn’t make it any less important than the others. This award is given to the player who performed best despite a limited role, they may have not had the most ice time this season but they were a clutch player who proved that they can perform no matter how long they spend on the ice. It was difficult to award this to just one player this season as our roster was stacked this season and everyone had their moments to shine despite what line they were one but… The candidates for this award are... Turkeybig Alex Bridges III Alfred Champagne …And Now, The Winner of the S84 Reserve Reaper Award… Alex Bridges III There were times that Alex was placed on the third line this season, despite that they finished with the second highest point total on the team and had the best plus-minus. Alex has proven to me that not only did he deserve more ice time but that they’ll be a top point producer for many seasons to come. Congratulations Alex and thank you for all your hard work this season! The next award is the Risible Reaper award. It’s often awarded to the player who is seen as a Leader in the locker room, whether it’s cheering up their team with funny jokes, encouraging their teammates, or just sparking conversations. They brought an important aspect to the team and we were lucky to have them on our team this season it wouldn’t surprise me if they wore a letter on their jersey for many seasons after this. Like the previous award, this one was difficult to find just one player to give this award to as our locker room was pretty active and had a bunch of interesting personalities, the Candidates for this award are… Tom Creeg Jon Webber jr Evan Bihler The Winner of the S84 Risible Reaper award is… Evan Bihler Evan was the backbone of this team and when I was looking back on the conversations in the locker room they were active and always encouraging to their fellow teammates. Seeing how Evan will likely return to the Reapers for another season I believe they will play a big role in the team's success. Thank you for all your work this season Evan, hopefully, you get 40 Wins next season! Now the moment I have personally been waiting for, we have one of my favorite awards to give out… The Rough Reaper Award! This award is pretty obvious what it is for, it is given to the Reaper who was willing to sacrifice the body every night, blocking shots and laying the body and just being a presence on the ice each game. The Candidates for this award are… TurkeyBig John Poremba Jr Gavin Rozzdale The winner of the S84 Rough Reaper award is… John Poremba jr John showed incredible heart this season, having blocked 88 shots for us I am sure the Goalies loved it when they shared the ice with John. Thank you for your play this season John! Good luck next season, can’t wait to see you in the big leagues! Our second to last award tonight is the Resilient Reaper award! This award is given out to the player that was often placed in high-pressure situations and would play hard in key moments. They would always play their hardest and would always make the smart plays to secure a victory for the team. The Candidates for this award are… John Poremba jr Gavin Rozzdale Tom Creeg The Winner of the S84 Resilient Reaper award is… Gavin Rozzdale! Gavin was a key member of the roster this season, they played as a center on our top lines for nearly the whole season and was tied for second in scoring on our team. They had a great plus-minus, blocked many shots, and led the team in assists. We were lucky to have you on our roster this season Gavin! Thank you! Now for the Final award, this award is awarded last each season as it is the most prestigious award we have to offer it is given to the Reaper’s MVP, The Reaper who thrives in all scenarios and brought their A-game each and every game. We had many great players this season but this award can only go to one player… The Candidates for this Award are… Gavin Rozzdale Alex Bridges III Jon Webber Jr Without A doubt the winner of this award is… Jon Webber Jr Jon may be the only player to win this award in back-to-back seasons, he is the Captain of the Reapers for a reason and I have no doubt they’ll be successful in the big leagues cause not only was he a top point scorer in the league but they were active in the locker room their entire time they were a member of the roster. It was an honor to have you on the team, Jon, I have no doubt you’ll be in the Reapers Hall Of Fame soon! There was no one more deserving to be Captain this season, thank you for leading the Reapers, and good luck! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Closing Words This was an amazing season, It was difficult to think of who to nominate for each award as I didn’t want to leave anyone out. Our team was stacked and I am sorry If I left anyone out on an award they think they should’ve contended for but in the end, I think I made the right choices based on the qualifications for each award… As many of you may know this is my final season as GM for the Reapers, I don’t know how long I will be gone but one day I will Return to the Reapers and hopefully I return with some knowledge that can bring this team to the glory land, for now, I wish to give someone else a shot at running the team and hopefully bring a new outlook on the team. With that, the S84 Reaper awards have come to an end. Good luck Reapers and Thank you once again for a great season and a fun experience… Remember, once a Reaper, always a Reaper! Your GM, Mason Jones aka Masu Chan 1178 Words August 19th, 2022 Claiming For Week of: August 14-21 & August 22-29
  20. 1. I think getting past the Play in round was nice. I scored a bunch of points and I wish I could've preformed like that for the entire playoff run. 2. I like the Seattle Bears, I'm not to familiar with the team but I like the branding and they were a team I wanted to be drafted to a few seasons ago. 3. Continue working on my goal scoring ability. I scored 32 goals this season and I think I could reach 40 or 50 next season. 4. Chara without a doubt, most points in the regulars season and had a great playoff run being nearly a point per game. 5. I think our offense needs a bit of work, we didn't score nearly enough which is why I intend to adapt my game during the offseason. 6. Terrible. I can't remember exactly who I had to win but it defiantly was not either of the two teams in the final. I think I may have been betting on Vancouver early on...
  21. 1. I am proud of my Performance and happy we moved on to the next round! 2. I think we have a good shot here. Our players have been training very hard for this opportunity and I think they will show up like we did in the last series. 3. 5th seed finals! I'd love to see it honestly. 4. I think so, I feel like if I'm on a role scoring goals I'd hate to break one during a streak if that counts. 5. I am following both pretty closely. Watchmen are my bet for VHLE and the Kings are my new bet for the VHL. 6. I've been a fan of CCM growing up but moved over to Bauer ever since they started sponsoring a youtuber I like called Nasher
