  1. 1. I think we will be tough to beat with this team improving each days and some real good signing/trade on the trade deadline day. 2. If the others are as well talented to Nico this team is golden definitely something to watch in the future. 3. I did go to a Ottawa, Montreal and Vegas games in the last couples of years. Im want to see a games in California or Florida next. 4. acquired a top points scorers like Godlander is really good for the team being more offensive and having solid lines. 5. My players is from Sweden, but I’m from Canada Quebec. 6. I remember when my science professor told that in class and end up in a huge debate. My answer is no technically but yes, if that make sense.
  2. With only 6 points difference between the fifth place and the nine place in the standings. There is a huge fight between these 5 teams to take the last 4 spots available. I will do well again like last time, describe each team and try to predict where each team will finish at the end of the season. I will keep the Mexico City Kings and The Las Vegas Aces descriptions short and sweet because I already did them in my last media spot. Link below . Vegas The Las Vegas Aces are at the fifth position with 55 points in the standings at the moment writing this. Are the mystery team. They recently traded their ex-goalkeeper Grubauer for a Wiley Blanchette and a bunch of picks for the upcoming draft. The aces have some great players who can carry the team on their back with players like Taylor Carter, Alex Toon and Patric Twist who are all over a point par game. They can steal some games against some teams but they are rapidly losing points on the standings. Let's see if their free fall will stop or continue. Mexico City Now The Mexico City Kings, are at the sixth position with 54 points only 1 points behind Las Vegas and 1 points ahead of Halifax. They have a lot of depth and have signed a lot of players since my last article. Their star players continue to feed the scoreboard. With players like Matt Aven having 82 points in 51 games is the star offensive player with the help of defensemans Dookie Headtop with 79 points in 51 games, Wattson Power 61 points in 51 games and Roman von zkikowski 50 points in 51 points. These defenseman help the teams on both sides of the ice while being productive and being responsible in their defensive zone, to help goaltender Big Hank when the situation on the ice is critical. Big Hank had a respectable season for his first year in the VHLM with 0.881 saves percentage and a 3.92 goals against allowed par games this season. Halifax Now the Halifax 21st or #BOATGANG. Personally I think Halifax and Mexico City are the better teams compared to the other 3 they have a lot of depth and some nice depth players. They are at the seventh position in the standing with 53 points. Halifax have a great offense with 222 goals for and 243 goals against. They are the best teams offensively and the worst defensively between the teams they are battling with in the standings. Star player Bryn Yrwy having 126 points in 51 games played, Jacob Richard having 106 points in 51 games played and Jorgen Von Strangle with also 106 points in 51 games. Their lack of defense is hurting them a lot. They have Boris Tsezar in net who is stopping most of the pucks directed at him with a 0.890 save percentage and a 4.01 games allowed per game. Philadelphia Now the teams these two last teams are tied with 49 but Philadelphia have one game in hand only playing 50 games so far this season. Philadelphia has built these teams with draft players and a lot of new recruits. They have production from almost all the players on a regular basis. With players like Cadmael Ixazaluoh having 64 points in 53 games played ( yes sims have just been done ) and 104 shots blocked so he can produce and be responsible in his zone. With Alessio Simeoni, Mason Jones, Mikael Mursu and Julien Bernier are all almost a point per game with recently acquired the Janser brothers with Daniel having a solid 22 points in 20 games and Marcel who is responsible in his zone and can keep the cup away from his net. You can say that Ali Des Aves is not alone who is blocking shots on this team. The goalie is definitely helping steal some games with a 0.888 saves percentage and a 3.63 goals allowed per game. Miami Now the final team, Miami Marauders with also 49 points in 51 games. These teams are lacking in depth but all of their players are points per games with Yun Chiang with 86 points in 48 games and Mix Bag OChips the two most productive guys on the teams. They are lacking in defense with only one player Xiaoping Benguin Dinghao Sonei with 31 points in 33 games played and 60 shots blocked. Surprisingly are the second team with the lowest games against with 212 only Vegas have less with 191. Goaltender Juha Jarvinen is definitely helping in that department with a 0.894 saves percentage and a 3.58 goals allowed per game. Now the fun stuff I will try to predict where each team is going to end up at the end of the season. I personally think the two best teams are Halifax and Mexico City. In the fifth position I have Halifax I think their depth , that first line and their goaltender/defensive side of the games is better than the others so they should be versus Houston in the first round playoff. In sixth place we have the Mexico City Kings. I was hesitant between these two but I think Halifax are slightly better in most parts of the game. Playing against Minnesota in the first round in the playoff. In seventh place I have the Miami Marauders, surprisingly for most people but I think Yun Chiang and Juha Jarvinen are the two players who will make a difference. They are upgrading really quickly and can steal some games. They are earning 72 tpe for Yun Chiang and 59 for Juha only in October. Facing Ottawa in the first round of the playoff. In eight places I have Philadelphia. The Reapers are really good but I think they miss star players who can help this team. They will face Yukon in the first round. So I have Las Vegas missing the playoff this season. They have great players but not enough players to make a difference in those last games of the season. I can see them maybe take a playoff spot if their games are low scoring games. They are very good defensively but are lacking a bit in offense. That is my bold prediction for this fight. I think the trade deadline coming up is maybe going to help some teams and mess up my prediction. Thank you for reading. 1080 words
  3. After the games against Miami, Ragnar was heading home when he heard someone calling his name. He posed and turned to see the interviewer who was running after him. Interviewer: I didn’t have a chance to ask you some questions after the games. Do you have a little time to answer somes questions? Ragnar: yes for sure I was just heading home I can answer some questions. Interviewer: You just hit the 50 points today. How do you feel? Ragnar: Wait for real!! I didn’t even know…. damn euh I mean wow. I just want to help the team win some games. The stats it’s just a bonus after the wins. Interviewer: With ⅔ done of the season and the trade deadline just in a couple of days do you think your team will make some moves? Ragnar: I feel like the season only began like 2 weeks ago, times fly. I honestly think this team with the players that we have at the moment is enough to win the cup, but I guess adding some players won’t hurt. Interviewer: You have three drafts coming up in the next couple of months. Are you excited and do you think you will be ready to play in the E next season? Ragnar: I’m definitely excited to be drafted in three drafts. Realistically I think I need to play one more season in the M to develop even more and be more mature in my judgment call on the ice, but I will work my hardest in the rest of the season and off season to maybe earn my spot in the E. Interviewer: Thank you for your time Ragnar and good luck in the rest of the season. Ragnar: Thank you. See you next time. 300 Words
  4. This is so nice is like I’m reading a book. It’s a great mix about the retirement of Linus and your new players you are going to use in your recreation. The story is very interesting and the game analysis is very well done. I’m super exited to read the rest. That deserves a 11/10.
  5. I like this a lot it’s an interesting story on how he deal with is injury and want to work harder afterwards to continue is career. I like the characters too he seems like a super intense players and I’m sure he is going to have a nice career in the VHL. 9/10 It’s easy to read and very interesting.
  6. 1. I change my routines a lot but a always start by the left side first. 2. My heart want to go with Minnesota but I think the step is big between this 2 league so I need to go with a VHLE team. 3. I’m ready to be competitive for the rest of this season and that only prove that we can beat anyone if we work hard and we use the game plan. 4. In terms of hockey Canada, for sure. 5. I don’t have a vhl team but I’m working on it . 6. I think they are still one of the top team in the league the offense is just so good and Helly is confident in is net.
  7. We have a special guest today. He plays for the Minnesota Storm defenseman Ragnar Hagstrom. Interviewer : Welcome Ragnar how is it doing? Ragnar: I'm doing pretty well. We are on a winning streak and we are playing pretty well. Interviewer: Well after playing 28 games with Minnesota do you feel comfortable with this team looking forward to it? Ragnar:Yes I love playing for this team and in all the players minds we all have one thing in mind and that is to win. The chemistry between us is definitely clicking. I think I’m playing well. I don't really look at my stats, but I feel like I contribute to plays on both sides of the ice. Interviewer: With all the moves happening with Minnesota. What is it like in the locker room? Ragnar: Well I love some new interactions with new teammates and with a mix of new signing players and veteran trades. It’s fun for all the veteran players to give some great tips for the new guys. Interviewer: Do you believe this team can win the founders cup? Ragnar: I definitely believe this team can win the cup this year. It's going to be tough but we have the team to do it. We have the pieces to beat any team, we just have to work hard. Thank you Ragnar for your time and until next time. 225 Words
  8. I will definitely add some head to head stats and try to get some pictures on my next media thx
  9. We all know that Ottawa and Yukon are the power houses this season on the VHLM but behind them there's a fight happening for the third to sixth place on the standings sheet. With Minnesota, Houston, Las Vegas and Mexico. In this media spot I will try to predict where each of these teams are going to end up at the end of the season and explain why. First we have Las Vegas, this team has only 4 real players surprisingly they are still competitive. With no S81 draft players and all the players being at 100 tpe or more, it’s pretty insane to see that franchise dominating teams with double or triple more real players. Pekka Grubauer is the best in the net stopping most of the shots that he receives, he is really tall, so he takes a lot of space and the opponent forward doesn’t have a lot of holes to put the puck in the net. Alex Toon, Taylor Carter and Patric Twist all played together last year so the chemistry is definitely there between those three. They are all heading to a personal record for points this season. It’s interesting what the GM will do with this team looking forward to the trade deadline coming up. Will they try to make a push adding some depths to this team or will they keep the team intact and see where they go. Now Mexico the only team with 2 goalie in the M they are recruiting quite well in the new recruit players zone, adding Big Hank who is now the starter goalie for this team, Big Eli the fourth defenseman on this team and they Jacker Doodle who was pick up just a bit after the S80VHLM draft. With a bunch of S81 and only 2 veteran presence with Matt Avens who is leading the team in points and Dookie Headtop the quarterback of this defense. With a roster of 5 forward, 4 defenseman and 2 goalies they are a well rounded team who misses a tiny bit a piece to be a contender to the cup. If they keep adding prospects to their roster with 1 or 2 forwards they are going to be pretty competitive. I think this team is not going to be easy to win against in the near future. Minnesota turns now, with a bit similar to Mexico with more offensive players. Having the top prospect Nico Pearce and veteran players like Norris Sirois, Barry Bonds JR who is one of the top players in the league right now, Kevin Hard, Cube Whale and NineQPro. This team is almost the perfect mix of veteran and rookie players. With only 3 players who are less than a 100 tpe Oscar Kiprusoff with 93, the recently added Ragnar Hagstrom 87, who is developing at a quite fast past and the goalie Wiley Blanchette with 71. Having a roster of 1 goalie, 3 defenseman and 7 players this team is also with a tiny piece to be competitive in the playoffs. They are the most offensive team between these four but also the worst on defense so maybe adding another Defenseman will be a solution for them. The Final team is Houston, one of the favorites to get this third spot on the standing sheet at the end of the season. With a roster of 10 forwards, 4 defenseman and 1 goalie, they are the team with the most real players on the rosters. With 5 veteran players on the squad to help the younger one being more efficient on the ice. With 5 players being over 1 points per game and 2 with just 1 below, are definitely a power house on offense. Their defense is quite good too with a mix of power and agility. It will be interesting to see if these teams make moves to try to win the cup this season or be reserved and carry these teams for the rest of the season. Let's keep an eye open on possible trades or signing on those teams. For the prediction I think the Houston Bulls will finish at third. The Minnesota Storm fourth. Las Vegas Aces fifth and Mexico City Kings sixth. I think this battle is one of the greatest at the moment in the VHLM and anyone can be third or sixth. A little winks to the Philadelphia Reapers who are starting to close the gap with these four teams and can maybe fight with them for the third spot in the VHLM. 718 words
  10. Nice article! I like how you’re players want to help and want to be better to help his team win. Adding stats is a plus too. 7/10
  11. Great story and the chemistry I’m looking forward on how the two of you will sims on the same teams for the rest of the season. I like how Mason and JP have their similarities and at the same times their deference. 8.5/10
  12. 1. I don’t like the word if in life. In my opinion losing by one to Ottawa just mean we can compete with them and they will need more work to beat us next time, because this team is better every day. 2. I love Minnesota the state of hockey the fans are incredible and I love the city. 3. Being a rookie who enter in the season I think I’m doing well. I can upgrade little things in my game to help the team more, but in general I am pretty please with my game so far. 4. The red wings they are still young but I don’t see them made the playoff this year. Larkin is one of my favorite player in the league and they have a nice prospect pool but maybe not this year. 5. I hope so for him he doesn’t want to play with buffalo. Buffalo is treating him like shit. I honestly don’t know where. 6. What is love, baby don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me, no more.
  13. Love it!!! I like how you pick one of each team player who was standing the most in your eyes. I also like the standing resume, maybe add next time the power play and penalty kil % efficiency 8/10 Great article!
  14. Love all the effort to add all his statistics. I would love to read more little in game moment in depths, like when Chiang score his first goal in game 5, almost like if you describe a game on radio. Rating 7/10 easily a 8 or 8.5 with more in game depths.
  15. Reporter: Welcome in the league Ragnar how do find you’re new team? And how do you will help the team be better? Raggy: I love Minnesota!! The GM and AGM are really great they gave me a little tour of the arena to familiarize myself with the arena. After that they present me my teammates everyone was welcoming and happy to see me. The teams was already in a good spot in the standings but needed a little push on defense to be more competitive against others teams. Reporter: You play you’re first game in the league how does that feel? With 3 passes and selected the third star of the games do you call that a great entry in the league? Raggy: Ahahah!!! For sure it’s great entry in the league for me. I think my coach very help me on that with the extra practice that we add yesterday I was prepare to play and just give it my all. Being honest with you it’s a huge step, I was so stress before hitting the ice, I really want it tho prove to my teammates that I was ready to play with them and the prove myself for my GMs that they made the right choice choosing to sign me. Reporter: Last questions, what do you need to improve the most in you’re game in you’re opinion? Raggy: I think it’s my physical game I’m 6’5 and sometimes I think I forget that I need tho lay the body a bit more I need to use my height in my advantage. 263 Words
  16. 1. I think it’s a great signing I know what I can bring for the team in defense I can definitely use my height to lay the body and block shots and I can also be a productive guy when the moment is necessary. 2. With 3 Defense players I think 1 others D man to add will not hurt us but only help us. But Lets see where the next few days bring us before. 3. Definitely Vancouver with the team that they have they are much better on paper then Seattle and Thatcher Demko has prove himself that he can be the starter on the team. 4. I personally think its anybody games it’s too early to tell Ottawa and Yukon are 2 of the best team this year but there a lot of game to play and standings can change really quick. 5. I don’t know It’s such a deficult league to play in that every team have a chance to win it. 6. I like jazz yes. Music and NBA team Donovan Mitchell is a great player I love is game and the music it’s just smooth to ear.
  17. To begin with the Hagstrom family is know to be one of the last Viking family to keep the Viking tradition. Ragnar was born in Uppsala. At the age of 5 is dad bring him in is first boat trip, it was a small one but the young kid wanted to know everything about what the boat was doing to advance at a good speed. His dad told everything he know about how the be a good Viking and a good boat driver. But at the same time every weekend he was traveling to Stockholm to play hockey. School during the day, Viking be night and hockey player in the weekend the young Ragnar did not have time to be bored. But at the age of 10 he make one of the most difficult decisions, he told his dad that he did want to continue on is Viking journey and want it to play hockey more. His dad was a bit sad earring that, because he cannot quit his duty so he offered to Ragnar to live with is aunt who was at Stockholm and play hockey there. Ragnar was sad to say goodbye tho is family but was excited to continue his journey to be a good hockey player and to find more about is aunt he did not know very well. With more time to play hockey Ragnar was a star player in every year he play winning almost all of the trophies he possibly can. At 13 he was already 6feet1 and 137 pounds he know he need to gain mass to keep competing in the superior league. He has a natural talent with the puck it’s like the puck was magnetized to his stick, no one was able to defend him using is speed and puck handling skill he was flying on the ice. Using his height to block puck and throw solid body checking he was also someone who the opposite offensive players was afraid to play against. He was dreaming big playing in the big league, watching his idol play he always wanted to go play hockey in America. At the age of 15, he finally plan to go play in America with the us development program in 32 games plays he score 66 goal and 91 assist for a total of 157 points, a record for a defenseman.
