"Hello?" -an enthusiastic man says Komi stutters, "Can I.. I help you?" "I'm just Jack Kyran, I'm the agent you spoke to earlier this week?" Komi eyes widen, "Jack yes!! I'm sorry what can I help you with? "Well was seeing If you picked an agent yet?" Komi rubs his face in frustration, "Right ugg. Yeah I haven't picked one, but I will soon I promise." Jack answer back politely, "Very well mr Kamal. Well Just remember Jack Kyran will get it done for you when you make your decision." Komi hangs up the phone after saying a quick thank you. He rubs his face again and falls asleep. Since our last look into Komi In net we saw a rough one losing 8-2 even being pulled out of the net in the 8-2 one. Oof. As the season continues, he would be out there some nights just facing tough shots. While there would still be some nights where you were questioning if he should even be in net. | On this particular morning Komi Kamal will wake up for practice and make his way to the arena for another practice just like any other day except today coach brings him to his office. Coach would ask "Well Kid you picked an agent yet?" Komi would shake his head no, "No sir the options I have right now, just don't feel right and feel as If they really just want to make a quick buck off me." Coach would chuckle, "Seems about right, most of you kids say the same thing to me. It's like a record on repeat, but I get it. This Is the real world and everyone's out for the piece of the pie. Though you will have to eventually pick one out of the bad apples. The VHL draft is going to be one of the greatest days of your life. Bigger than what the VHLM draft was. You definitely need a guy by your side who will watch out for your best interest as a player and financially. We all play this game for fun, but there is that reality It Is a business." Komi just looks down, "I know coach, which I hate. I wish It could just be simpler sometimes." Coach snickers, "Don't we all. Though you're positive there's no one on your list of agents you feel would watch out for your best interest?" Komi scratches his head while saying, "Well... No I can't say there is coach. Did you have a suggestion?" "As a matter fact. I do" -Coach would slide a card towards Komal with a number on It- "Call that number after you get dressed and out of the arena. Find you time where no one is bothering you and just talk with him. Trust me, He'll blow your expectations away." Komi smiles as he gives coach a hug "Thank you coach! you're the best." "I do what I can for those who love the game as much as me." As Komi walks away he thinks to ask his coach one more question? "Do you think I'm ready for the VHL draft?" Coach huffs, "Well you're not perfect, but you are a rookie. As far as my eyes can tell, you're doing great. I know you've had some tough nights. We just aren't the most talented roster out there, but we have heart. You're a big part of the heart we have here In Ottawa. Don't think on your draft stock too much. Just have fun." As Komi would be walking out of the building he'd be looking at the card and would take a seat on a bench outside the arena, as this felt like the right place to talk. He would call the number as It'd ring a few times before someone would answer, "Hey this Is Dusty Wilson Speaking Player Agent waiting to make your dreams a reality," Komi would say, "Well hello Dusty... I'm Komi Komal I play for the Ottawa Lynx as their starting Goalie. My coach suggested you to me." you could hear Dusty's focus shift without even seeing him just based off his enthusiasm. "Oh yeah! Your coach told me so much about you!" Komi would smile as he would respond "Oh Really?" "Yeah yeah he did. told me the effort you put out there on a nightly basis. Which I've seen the tape you look great in my book." Kamal would giggle, "Wow man I appreciate that." "Absolutely, so is there anything you wanted to discuss." "Well I'd say tell me your qualifications and background? Dusty would say "Absolutely, You see I was a goalie just like you! I found myself in the league during the end of a vhlm season with marlins so, i got like 4 games in my first year. The vhlm draft would come and i'd fall right back to the marlins. there I'd be backup goalie again and fun fact I'd never start in the vhlm in my career." As funny enough I believe I backed up bubbles utonium!! Which was crazy as fun fact my other player id be an agent for Ben Laas got to play with him!" Komi would laugh about that. "Right crazy. Then In VHLE I just backed up there as well. Then my fortunes would change Bana Would see my potential and even helped me unlock it in myself to be the best i possibly could be. From there i flourished for 4 years in the vhl. Never got a cup, but Thanks to Bana my career became one after all even won awards S86!" Komi just in awe couldn't believe he was speaking to a former vhler? "So you really did the thing?" Dusty chuckled, "Yep I did the thing, though for a lot less than others, but It was amazing while I did it. It turned out how I think it should have to be honest. I was young and naive while learning. The VHL chewed me up, but I got right back up thanks to a little help." Komi excitingly says, "when could we meet up then?" Dusty would say "I could meet say in about 5 minutes at a coffee shop nearby your teams arena?" "Perfect I'm actually on a bench outside of the arena so im as ready as you are." Dusty responds "awesome I'll be there in 10 minutes" -Dusty would explain everything he wanted out of the partnership how much money he was wanting and talking about what Komi wanted out of his career as a goalie in VHL. From there Komi signed official papers that would be turned into the VHL to show he represents Komi Komal The Goalie of the Ottawa Lynx! Now as these games keep playing Komi finds himself closer and closer to the end of his vhlm rookie season. Is he ready for the big time? You can only hope so. Komi feels confident in himself as a player, but wonders if the others of the vhl feel the same. With no more VHLE there was only one place to shoot for now which was the VHL. Komi was going to be a teams starter one day! @Banackock this is my spot to thank you. Even if you may not answer me just know how much your small acts meant to me and my vhl sim league career.

Hey this is my 2nd goalie and sure it can be worrysome being a goalie, but i believe there is always a home for a goalie out there! remember to just keep earning and understand its your player. You're taking your time out of your life to do this hobby. Make it worthwhile to you.

Ottawa Lynx and Komi's season has been under way so far and it's had It moments. Matter of a fact we'll hop into one now -Setting is In Mississauga Hounds Arena game just got underway- Invader Zimothy Timothy shoots after a rebound chance it gets blocked but It's back in his possession and he shoots and scores! Ottawa Lynx Up first, Coach can be heard cheering on the bench same with the players. "Let's go boys thats how to start!" -Game continues but not much longer shots would be taken and Hank smith would get it Jay Sikes as he puts It In the net. Coach screams, but Komi just gets himself set back up. Hounds then get another. Another one comes through then before the end of the first Hounds passing it around and Kal El gets another for the hounds! 4-1 folks wow! Komi just putting his face into his glove. He mumbles to himself. "whats going on tonight." Coach pulls Komal to him after the end of the first. "Hey kid what's going on? you look rough out there." Komi shakes his head, "I'm not sure coach. They just have my number tonight I guess." Coach nods in agreement, "That's for sure. Listen Komi fix it or I'll have to take out from between the pipes. Komi nods and skates as his teammates try to give him encouragement. 6 minutes in the 2nd Jay sikes gets another one in as its now 5-1. Komi knows he's about to be pulled and can't get his mind off of it. 30 seconds later Sidney buries one in the net! You're hounds up 6-1 Coach tells the ref and signals komi to come to the bench. The backup started getting strapped up after the last goal and was already ready to skate on by the time Komi made it to the bench. Coach pats him on the shoulder, "hey were gonna let you relax rest of the night Komi. You didn't do so great tonight, but just relax and we'll watch film later. Komi in disbelief as He's never been pulled before. He just shakes his head even letting down a tear as his teammates tell him to hold his head up. The game would end 8-2 as they would be making their way back home for their home game against the marlins. In the locker room after the game. "Okay guys that was a rough night. Let's put this one away in memory for sure. I'm not mad at anyone. It just didn't go our way. I don't want to hear anyone tearing another teammate down. Get yourselves dressed and we'll be getting on our flight as soon as we leave here, got it guys?" Yes sir, Ottawa on 3. 1,2,3 OTTAWA! Coach pulls Komi to the side, "Hey Komi step aside." Komi steps to the side and sets his bags down. "yes?" Coach lets out a huff, "well that was a rough one, don't feel like that was all on you though. It's a team sport remember that, just like in football. "yes sir." Coach taps him "come on kid cheer up. You're the starting goalie still don't worry about that, I just had to get you out of there tonight before your confidence went super low. We've kept you in before even when they scored a lot. The shots just weren't so many this time, so i knew it would be better just to switch goalies." Komi nods, "I know coach It just didn't make sense, felt like I couldn't do right." Coach shakes his head, "I know, but now what matters is how you bounce back from it. Do you let it eat you alive or do you learn from it and focus on the next game. The choice is yours." Coach pats him on the shoulder and walks away saying, "We've got a plane to get on, lets go." Komi grabs his belongings and follows coach. They would make it back home and manage to beat the marlins 3-2! The team was hype about a win in front of the home crowd. Coach would get loud to settle us down, "okay boys. Beautiful win tonight. That's how you bounce back. Just have to keep your head up as things take time." Coach breathes in and out, "Now there's obviously still mistakes were making, but what's there to be mad at. Not much especially after a win. Like i said, Watch film. Most importantly tonight is enjoy this win. Believe me this season goes by quick. Don't go crying over one game." Everyone nods in agreement. "Now lets get packed up boys and enjoy your nights!" Komi smiles as his family made their first game to come and watch him play. They said they were going to try and make some games this year. They would eat out with Komi paying for the meal seeing as he tries to not spend his money much on his own, so he figured the family deserved to be covered, especially after traveling all this way to come see him. They talked about how the teams been to him and how hockey's been a different level of preparation compared to preparing for football. So after Komi got home, he went and met up with his family to go out and eat. His Brother Is busy himself being a professional basketball player. He enjoyed eating out and when he made it home, he went straight to watching film. Finding out where he angled himself wrong, how he should of handled a rebound situation etc. Komi has been enjoying his time in Ottawa, but he definitely has been home sick as Being on a team In Ottawa is way different then being at a Stanford campus. This Apartment was just as amazing as when he arrived here before the beginning of the season. He now had Lynx merch more in the house as he's been given lots of It from the staff. Komi just keeps his mind running as soon Komi will have to be getting an agent for his draft contract to the vhl. Though he would just prefer to delay it a little longer, he's just enjoying being able to play the sport. The phone rings, Komi answers. Till next time folks!

Komi Komal was drafted to the Ottawa Lynx 16th overall. You could see the excitement spread across Komi's face as he got to walk the VHLM stage to join his new team and a new beginning. As Komi took his picture with the commissioner. He then went to back to his seat as he watched the remainder of the draft. From there I received calls from his GM Grape. "Hey Komi you excited to be In Ottawa?" "Absolutely Coach I'm thrilled, but how will I get there?" Grape chuckles, "We'll get you here don't you worry. For now get back home In california and get your things together. Also remember to start trying to think about where you will be staying In Ottawa." Komi panics a little, "crap right I forgot about all of that too. Well yes sir I'll start looking and see what I can do." Grape responds, "sounds good Komi, We'll see you here soon and get you arranged with the team." **Phone hangs up** -Komi and his family make It back home to gather his things before his flight- Well mom and dad It's crazy I'm here! -both of his parents smile as they embrace him for a hug- His dad says "It may not be football or basketball like your old dad here son, but I believe you can be a great player in hockey too." Komi chuckles, "thanks dad! Well I need to get going back to Stanford campus to clean up my dorm room too." His dad nods of course of course, Go ahead. -Komi finishes up at his parents house and grabs all of his things from his dorm and leaving his former roommate. As Komi left the campus, He looked back thinking about all the fond memories he had even with the hockey team. They all wished him luck in his career. Komi heads to the airport and makes his way to Ottawa. -All Komi could think about on the flight was being home again- He actually fell asleep, but was awaken by the Flight attendant. He would say "Oh sorry. **yawns** I didn't even realize we were here. -As komi walked out he saw a person holding a sign up with his name. Komi headed that way and shook hands with the driver. Komi would ask for breakfast and the driver would oblige. They would make their way to the offices. Komi would walk in to a nice secretary who directed him to the coaches office- GM grape was there "Hey welcome in man" As Komi shook hands with him and the coach. Grape starts off "Komi we couldn't be happier to draft you with our pick. We honestly needed a lot, but you felt right into our lap. We could not have been happier." Coach agrees, "He's right, I knew we needed a goalie, but when you're rebuilding like we are. You will take anyone you can get" Komi smiles as he brushes it off. "So when does practice start?" Coach answers, "Well were hoping to get started sometime next week. Have our guys there and see what you can do kid." Komi nodded, Grape interjects, "Well that reminds me, we heard some apartment complex was willing to make your rent pretty low thanks to be a Lynx. Its super nice trust me." Komi smiles, "When can I start moving In?" Grape smiles and points, "well just sign this contract for your salary and we'll get you going to move in." Coach adjusts himself in his seat before he gets up and says "keep in touch man looking forward to you starting this year." Grape straightens the paperwork after signing and hands komi a welcome bonus. "that's for anything you need this week, just wait till the money hits your bank account." Komi shakes hands again and makes his way to his apartment. Komi unlocks his new apartment and just admires all of it. The setup Of It was amazing to him, way better than dorms. Komi would just take a seat as his bar and just thank the Lord for his opportunity. He would then call his parents tell them he made it and tell his brother as well. Komi was here in the VHL. It was time to prove himself. Komi would spend the rest of the day putting his things away how he liked and just buying groceries later that day. Komi would come to the facility for a meeting with the team and they even served breakfast for everyone. As Komi would settle into his chair with his name stitched on it. It was just a cover, but It meant the world. Coach settles everyone down. "Well welcome my returners and to anyone new welcome to the lynx family. As you returners know we are definitely a weaker team this year, but that's okay we'll embrace It and Komi that means you'll be facing some shots this year." Komi nods "So, I'm looking to start practices this coming friday If that's okay with everyone. For now I do want you guys doing conditioning here till practice as we need to be in shape for the season boys. Am I understood?" -Everyone responds yes sir- Komi would get to pick his custom pads and get a custom helmet. He was ready. Practices at first were definitely rough as It was different playing against some professionals now. Regardless he had a job to do. At their last practice before the first of the game Coach gave a speech, "Boys you have been working hard, but always remember were only strong as our weakest lynx." -Everyone chuckled- "Seriously though remember keep pushing each other to be the best version of themselves this year. Win or lose always take something away from the game. Watch film, ask questions. Remember boys this is the minors not the Pro's your goal is to get into the vhl. do i make myself clear?" -Yes sir!- Good now on 3 lynx. 1, 2, 3 LYNX!!!" -Overall the Lynx have had a rough start including Komi as he's had his moments this year, but also his bad ones. The team finally got their first win which they cherished very much so, even went and ate out on the night of their win. Still there's a whole season left and they need more wins If they want to try to compete. I know Komi does.

1. Well me of course cant believe i fell that far, but i'll take it! 2. Well Komi is a rookie it probably won't be the prettiest, but maybe he can be the shining light 3. Well based off power ranking were supposed to stink, so honestly ill go with that, but truthfully i think komi may surprise. though im sure tanking would be nice for prospects next year 4. maybe sign some inactives if needed for defenseman otherwise i think were a bit stuck haha 5. probably halifax due to being in our conference as i think miami is considered worse than us lol 6. save my family from a burning building. A GOALIE WAS BORN Komi Kamal was born on May 24th. He was born In Long Beach, California. There he was born to a loving family. His family wasn't the richest by any means especially with prices of California, but They did well enough for themselves. As Komi was growing up he had 1 older brother named Jordan. His mom wanted a girl, but Dad said they did not have enough Money to support another kid. So him and his brother It was. As you could Imagine their dad had big plans for him and his brother. As Their dad was actually well known in long beach for his play through school. And being an academic sound student at the same time. Yeah Komi and his brother had a lot to live up to. As both him and his brother were in every sport possible It felt like. They both wondered how they even had the time to do these sports, but their dad was adamant about being involved in every sport possible. So Komi and Jordan would play every sport their dad signed them up for. Jordan ended up being a heck of an athlete himself as he would be all over the field in football and in basketball just dominating. Where as for when Komi started growing up too, he just was more of a role player in every sport he played. As he actually was the backup Quarterback for his little league team when their starter was sick and couldn't play one day. Komi stepped in at QB for the first time and he absolutely stunned the other team. His ability to throw and accurately at that was remarkable. Komi had found his spot in Football. Basketball just never worked for Komi, but he still played It to always be around his brother. As time went on they continued in their respective sports. Komi was already being put into the starting QB role by his 8th grade year as he just dominated 7th grade football. So when Komi was starting at QB his brother was playing both sides of the ball at WR and CB. As they would make the playoffs every year, but just always coming up short. By Komi's end of his sophomore year, He was receiving calls from Schools Interested In His talents. Where as his brother Jordan was killing It In Basketball and with being 6'6 he was gaining attention himself. Komi was 6'2 and playing PG for the basketball team as he also started for the basketball team in 8th grade! Komi was just an amazing passer and that talent transcended across all levels. By Komi's Senior he helped him and his team go for a state title, but they would fall short again, this Time In the Championship game. Komi and Jordans football season was over. Beginning of Komi's interest In Hockey As said before Komi played every sport Possible. Hockey was one of them. during this time Komi was still that role player kid and he actually got put into the same situation. Being the backup Goalie. He would also get to play other positions at times, but Goalie was his main Focus as he liked the pressure of having to stop someone else from scoring. Komi loved being In control of his destiny and Goalie allowed him to do that just like Quarterback. Though He wasn't the best by any means, He still gave 100% effort every game out there. Once he got to Middle School he really only did It as a side thing When his friends wanted to play it at times. When Komi Was graduating he had made his intention of commitment to Stanford University to play football. As his 4 years at Stanford would never amount to anything winning wise other than regular season success. Komi had asked the hockey team If they'd let him play Backup Goalie. Stanford allowed this as Komi said he'd quit If he couldn't play Hockey at least a few times. Stanford would of stood their ground but didn't see It as a bad thing. They allowed Komi to play. As Komi would only play a few games as Stanford hockey didn't play that many their selves. Komi would impress some of these coaches with his ability to make saves and just his reaction time as well. From there Komi would obviously finish out his Football days and be wondering if the NFL was truly what he wanted. He had his degree, but he really wanted to give Hockey a good shot before he just tried to get a job. So with help from coaches and his dad. They found the Victory Hockey League. They saw they allowed anyone to enter into their league within reason of course. So Komi signed himself up and Is set to make his debuts in the minor league. Komi hopes to hone in His Quarterbacking skills to be used In between the pipes. Komi may not be living His fathers dream, but he's living a dream of his!
