  1. alright this is straight baloney man
  2. 1. I think the team just growing and I'd assume adjustments from head coach and just making the right adjustments for the team! 2. Right now to me It's the Aces It's clear they're a little weaker of a team as we see ourselves beating other teams as well. 3. So far I'd say yeah as he's getting more stats as of late and getting better in his position. I'm just growing so that comes with growing pains of not starting out as high in tpe as the other guys. 4. man It's Connor Mcdavid for sure. that dude has been fucking amazing since he got drafted. I think injuries has sidelined him a ton, but anytime he's on the ice he's electric. plus I'm a lesser knowledgable hockey fan. so sorry for that haha 5. It would consist of just making sure I listen to music that gets me hyped up. I would make sure i have a great breakfast and before the game a small meal. don't want to throw up anything. Then It's game time and I'm ready to shut down other teams! 6. I've heard the Bruins are crazy good this year, if they don't win man It wouldnt surprise me either. NHL playoffs get crazy man every year lmaoo. But I'd say the bruins
  3. 1. How did you celebrate getting drafted by the Saskatoon Wild? Well I was ecstatic to be drafted into a team with a ton of picks this year. I really i celebrated to myself and smiled. 2. You touch down and land in Saskatoon, what's the first thing you do? I mean first thing I'm doing Is finding what food is quick and easy so i can stay rested and stay stronger for the season 3. What are some season expectations for this team? Playoffs for sure as I feel we have a pretty good team, It may take us time to gel as we get better with our earning! 4. Which team looks to be our biggest competitor? Either Halifax Or Miami! 5. What are some individual goals you have for your player? Just want to be a great defenseman that's known for stopping the other powerful forwards in the league really. 6. How's your favorite NHL team doing as they cap off their regular season? I don't watch the nhl so, hopefully either Dallas or Nashville is doing good
  4. Howdy Howdy VHL, I'm sure many of you don't know of me as i really don't speak. I let my talent speak and It sure did. From my performances on the ice and being great for Seattle. But I wasn't greater which is why we fell short It felt. The team just didn't work, but trust me when I say Bana tried his hardest for me while I was the starter. Regardless let's speak on the article I read speaking about my retirement and the league in general. Let me bring you into my experience of VHL. So I think I saw this league and just immediately was making an account and was trying to figure it out. Joined the discord and got even more help there In. I learned the league was in midseason, which was okay as I asked If I'd still get draft and they said I'd get drafted in the next vhlm draft, so I got like 4 games in the season that was happening as I signed with the Marlins and I got drafted by the Marlins as well So I got a seasons worth of experience in the VHLM Keep In mind I never started (LOL) for good reason though. I wasn't earning and when you got a hell of a goalie In Bubbles Utonium starting over me which was the Marlins teams guy in net at the time. Also during this time i wasn't earning very well compared to others which is why I fell in the draft like I did to be honest. I think JB123 was kinda close with convos with me but he eventually fizzled out working with me and I was alone. I made it through and stuck through It with VHL. With that I headed into the draft of s82 baby! I would go 44th overall to Seattle in which I would guess Bana had other guys in mind but saw my name and figured he'd take a chance. In the VHLE Draft I did a little better going 29th Overall! So I had my teams of my future, The Cologne Express and Seattle Bears. Now This was the best year ever as Barzal was a hell of a coach for me man. He really got me on the right track and the mindset of grinding in the VHL again. Don't forget about Bana either though cause he continued to chat with me when he had the chance and that went a long way for me man. So my season started with Cologne Express as I believe we made It all the way to the finals, but did lose unfortunately If i'm not mistaken. So I was excited to eventually finally be a starter for the Cologne Express as Barzal thought that was the case as well. Then Barzal came back with some sad news that the GK Anime Protagonist wanted to be in the VHLE for a while. So the next step was Barzal trying to find me a home where I would get more playing time then In Cologne, hell find a starting spot at that! Well I got traded to the Geneva Rush and boy I was excited with this new gm he was being communicative with me and what his intentions were. This included me being the starter! Life in VHL was looking up I was getting my spotlight. Let's get to It lights camera.... Where's the action? Oh no the Gm is too busy and needs to step away for personal reasons. This was a big blow to my morale yet again. (to note I'm not clowning on the gm by any means personal stuff is much more important.) so who was in the reigns next? Good ole N0HBDY! I believe he brought a Goalie onto the roster and this goalie was active as well so I split time, but It wasn't the Starting spot i expected by any means. I was the designated starter and got my first playoff experience. But yet again this wasn't VHL Experience I was enjoying by any means as the only gm that has helped me much was Barzal and none other than Bana always checking in and helping me with earning by linking me to things I could do to earn. Bana was everything to me being the player I was and My time was now. All the sudden I'm expecting to just be the backup and just be ready to develop, but the starting Gk retires and all the sudden It's me between the pipes baby! I believe I had a great rookie season, but wasn't as great as others so i fell short of that award. But every year Dusty played well, hell the Bears were making the playoffs every year just about. that's thanks to Bana! So I had a great 4 year run with the Bears as many of you know I even got a MVP nod! being a co winner! That was the highlight of my career as a player as a whole man! I went from being a player nobody cared that struggled at earning. I was feeling the First Gen Goalie struggles and they were real as I never max earned just about till I was on Seattle man. Bana believed In me and I became a player i maybe would of gave up on my own player and said bye to VHL. I mean to be fair i was still super new to the sim league sites, but I was an excited new guy and the league just never matched my energy nor my expectations. You know who did? Bana. Bana was everything to me as a player man, did he always answer my questions? Of course not haha. He's a busy dude has a life and so do we all as we all get busy. That's the enjoyment we find here though. This idea where were a superstar hockey player just on our journey along with other guys to get that sweet cup! We all want it bad and that's what It makes It fun. Being a GM Isn't a easy job. Being a GM Isn't for everybody. Remember that folks. Also understand Bana spoke to me very much so, I did have frustration with him when I found out I was released as I found out by him saying the lineups in the discord and not even knowing I was released yet. I took It as a hint and left the discord. That hurt and I was mad. Soon Bana reached out and explained himself. I know Bana's situation, but of course me as a player I'm the most understanding person around within reason. All I expected from Bana was for him to say "Hey were going to be releasing you/trading you." All I got was a "Were going another direction!" I didn't know if that meant Im staying or im moving. I was still confused as hell. I guess I should of taken the hint when he posted the trade of Xavier but I didn't think anything of it as I didn't see my name in the trade. I didn't even know Xavier was a goalie! haha that's my own fault there though. The career was a hell of a one man. I felt like Rudy, Putting In the work and finally getting my chance, I obviously got more playing time than him in the movie, but man I did It. I doubted myself the whole time and I'm sure some people never even expected me to be a force at all. I'm glad I was able to prove you all wrong. I'm not done yet as I look to be a defensive defenseman with Ben Laas! Hopefully I have more of an easier time with the league this time around. I do want to shout out @AJW@DarkSpyro@Banackock@BarzalGoat These guys were my circle during my time with Dusty. All love to Seattle and soon we'll see how Ben turns out!

  9. Dusty Wilson gets a shutout lets fucking go dude!
  10. Literally just glad to be in the playoffs lets get one bears! and more!
  11. 1. Vancouver vs. DC is the only undecided series thus far, who takes it and moves on to face the Cinderella Story Phoenix? Alternatively if this is answered after tonight, who do you have going to the Continental Cup finals from both sides? I think Phoenix might upset D.C as If they can find their ways to really take over those games they could be in the cup. Now D.C getting go up against a cindarella story Is also a great opportunity to have a easier ride per say to the cup. Both teams have a goal in mind, but just have to see how games go. 2. What's most important to you and why: Cups, Individual Awards, or the HoF? I mean Cups, You can be called a great goalie or great forward or defenseman. But If you ever get brought up into a conversation, and they are like "He never won a cup though." That championship can uplift or hold you back on your legacy of your player. So Cups I believe are the first most important thing 3. What is your go to Potato Chip flavour? Sour cream and Onion. Simple and bussin 1. So far how has your career been as a player or a GM or even a bit of both? 2. Moscow vs Warsaw plans to be a great series, who do you feel Is going to come out of that one? 3. Are you more into goal scoring or do you like being a support kind of player?
  12. Am I ass now what the hell!
  13. 1. If you could only take one book to be stranded with on an island what would it be? Well If I wanted to be honest It'd be a book about how to survive on a island. 2. Best thing about "man's best friend" - the dog? The Dog Is the best. Man Is merely just there to do as the dog wishes. 3. Favorite period of history to learn about? The Civil war in all honesty 1. How did you first find sim leagues? 2. Is this your first player in the VHL? If not how many players have you made in VHL so far? 3. Do you pay attention to VHL draft even when you've already been drafted or do you forget It exist after you are already drafted?
  14. 1. What do you think is the most overrated/underrated part of sim leagues in general and why? Underrated part if the recruiting In sim leagues. Just a person reaching out to you and wanting you Is such a great feeling. 2. Describe your ideal sandwich. What type of bread, meat, how many condiments, etc.? My man I'm just a Turkey Cheese and mayo kind of guy. I'm simple and I love it 3. How much a role does music play in your life? Are you involved with it, does it regulate your moods, do you hate music, etc.? I love music especially when I'm doing anything as It can match my mood, or even raise It. Music helps answer questions you can't answer for yourself. 1. Is hockey your favorite sport? If not which is? 2. What's your favorite position In hockey? 3. Do you ever smell something, but you can't remember what It's from?
  15. Well darn still had a good season thanks for the nomination at least!
  16. 1. What did you do this summer? Went to Branson, Missouri and moved back in with my parents 2. What do you enjoy outside of the forums? I just enjoy my other sim leagues if thats the question haha 3. How are you enjoying the VHL so far? It's been okay for me as i had a rocky start, but I've made headway since then 1. Is this your last season, If not how many more seasons do you think you'll go with your player? 2. Are you excited for the new season, or not really? 3. Do you love your current team?
  17. 1. What type of build do you think is not seen or utilized enough in the VHL? Well I would definitely believe an enforcer as everyone either wants assist and goals as they are important, but I just feel an enforcer could be good 2. What VHL team have you most enjoyed playing with so far? Seattle Bears no debate! 3. What do you think is the most difficult thing to do in hockey? Probably being a goalie as you are the only thing stopping a puck from going into your net when It's going at speeds that not many would step in front of. But I also believe scoring in a shootout as It's a 1 on 1 with the goalie and one wrong move you're shot is gone. 1. Are you recreating after your current player retires or are you calling it quits? 2. Do you prefer playing as a Goalie, Defenseman, or Forward? 3. What's your favorite VHL team logo?
  18. Dusty never thought he'd make It this far, only ever gracing the playoffs with the Cologne Express as a backup in VHLE and other than that his playoffs really speak for themselves. non existent as at those times Dusty's development hadn't been super boosted like It had been when he was told he would start for the Seattle Bears. For anyone this was a great honor and a great position to be out to start your career. That's what you would say If you weren't Dusty. Dusty knew this was the way to prove to everyone that he had been an overlooked goalie that just had untapped potential. Dusty's teammates have been able to pickup on his slack and Dusty would pick up on theirs. This Is where the bears are strong as they have been able to retool and make It back to the promise land. The Cup finals. Back to back appearances Is no small feat for any coach and Bana Is proving to others he IS THE COACH. This Is no small accomplishment for Dusty himself as being in the playoffs as a starter and that's the amazing part. A rookie in the playoffs in the finals? This is no small mark and many players alike are noticing It as well as ever since he saw that free agency post he knew he needed to make this playoff run special. So here we are. Will we see the story book ending? As being Dusty I can only hope and I hope to see you guys cheering on the bears when we play again in these playoffs. Till then BEARZ!
  19. 44. It was an amazing feeling and just knowing our postseason continues is awesome 47. I believe He's done amazing for being a lower end tpe Goalie, but I think what I've done to update and earn has come into full effect. 48. I'm hoping warsaw haha, but I feel Moscow maybe gets some dubs 49. Seattle Which may seem late now, But I was rooting for us the whole way 51. I mean I've seen a fan take his shirt off with dust on his chest and say "Were gonna wipe you off this Ice DUSTY!" 52. He doesn't get much to sign, but he got to autograph a Wooden board and It was Dusty funny righ?
  20. 1. I prefer to earn early on to make sure I get It done and If I'm not up for It I earn throughout the week or the next day 2. Well I didn't have predictions and really the only focus I have Is on Seattle. 3. We shall see, just depends on my activity and timing to watch It. 1. How did your player perform this season? Was It good or bad? 2. Do you love your current team or feel free agency Is calling your name? 3. What's your favorite part of the VHL Playoffs, Offseason, Trades etc.?
  21. Dusty Is In the Playoffs in the VHL In his first season. I'm sure this has been done before, but with the way Dusty had his rise within the VHL He can't believe he's come this far really when way before the VHL in the VHLE and VHLM as has already been explained. He was never the first option or had to share time with another goalie. This never allowed him to truly know how good he could be, but he never really had anyone helping through the way other than Barzal. Barzal's help was probably the best as he really helped him understand what It takes to make It in the VHL and how to focus on certain things. Bana was just like this, but pushed Dusty even harder and this all equaled up to Dusty making It to this moment. Dusty has been working hard as ever always making sure he earns as much as he can and now with himself starting In his first playoffs as the starting goalie. He's ready for the moment, It just depends on how his luck goes In net and he just hopes he can show Seattle he's been worth the gamble they took on him back when he was first drafted! Dusty Wilson Fan train starting now baby! So just keep an eye on Seattle as they look to fight tooth and nail to try and make themselves back to back championships. For Dusty a championship would be a dream come true and a great underdog story everyone would respect. Dusty doesn't want all the glory though as he just wants to be respected as a great goalie and just appreciated within the VHL. That's all he ever wanted from the beginning
