  3. On December 12th the Philadelphia Reapers gm made a 3-way trade with Saskatoon and Houston. The Reapers received Cole Pearce but ultimately had to sacrifice Adora Happysmile Rainbowfist whom was part of the leader circle in Philly to Houston. Also Saskatoon received Dylan Dubnyk and S82 HFX 5th. With that trade, the Reapers where in need of a new assistant captain. Alex, the Reapers gm and the teams leader group chose to assign young Filand defenseman Branden Skuin to the role. With 56 game played, the rookie Defenseman totals 5 goal and 20 pts and a +8. The Fin is currently on the 3rd defensive line of the club and he's rocking the 1st powerplay wave. The Finland Rocket was a surprise to the club as he quickly rose the ranks proving himself as a steady scoring puck moving defensman and a born leader. As a free agent he more than just a nice acquisition by the Reapers. Starting with Cole Pearce, the 16 year old giant goalie as gone to hell of a start with the Reapers and is a hige part of the recent success of the Reapers. In 11 games Pearce has a record of 7-3-1 with a .908 SV% and 2.9 GAA. As Reapers GM's commented when asked about the past weeks trades, "probably the biggest trade for us to be competitive this season". Reapers players where also asked about the recent trades and lines changes post trade in past press conference, here what some of them had to say. "Those are the key to victory, trust the process" -Branden Skuin "Can't complain, i trust our GM is doing anything he can to win" - Mason Jones (Team Captain) "We look fantastic IMO." -Seymour Butts "Trades and line changes are necessary to build a stronger team" -Chikeli Cholo Players were also asked about the nomination of rookie Branden Skuin as assitant to Mason Jones. Players had nothing but great things to say about the Finland Rocket: "Excited for him to step into the role, good guy from all my interactions with him." -Ryan "I think he's built to be a fantastic leader. He will captain a team soon." -Seymore Butts "Certainly solid in it. Was a good choice." -Tyler Walker It's certain to assume that the Reapers are just getting ready for a playoff run like no other. With that confidence in the players and management nothing but great things can happen for this squad. When ask about his future in the league, Skuin had few things to say : "Currently I'm not really thinking about it, as a team we are set in playoff mode already and as the season is closing matches are crucial to win as we intend to rise in the standing. Sadly i know i could end up with any other team at the draft but i rather focus on the current season and the success of the team. I love my time as a Reaper i strongly believe in our team." Thanks to all Reapers who unknowingly help with that article. I did took longer than i thought to finish it but here it is. @Masu Chan @Alex @freezyeh @aksuko @bobikeb @Squidward2 Hey @Spartan i will claim the double pt for this and tell me if i can get extra too no to sure how this works tks

  9. David Desharnais is a canadian hockey player born in Laurier-Station in Québec (actually my home town). He never been draft in the NHL even with almost 3 100+pts season in the QMJHL. After a few years working in the affiliate of the MTL canadiens where he sign a ahl contract and even ended up getting a full time roster in the Nhl and was even at some point the 1st line center of the habs and Max Pacioretty's playmaker for a few season. The two met in the AHL and quickly developed a nice chemistry that brought both career foward. At his seven season with the Habs he was traded to the Edmonson oilers where he played the rest of the season and the next season will be is last in the nhl when he played for the New York Rangers. After is time in North America, David traveled to the KHL for one season with Omsk Avangard. Since then he's been playing in the Swiss-A league for Fribourg-Gotteron HC and is currently building up his own family with his wife and son.
  10. My god this in incredible! You brought so much of actual history that really shaped the country. Really good expectations of what teams could be looking like in this country. Can't wait to see this country pull a joker and produce an elite player in the future. I really think that many years from now this market will really grow and a few player will came from that country. Really great job can't wait for part 2!! 9/10
  11. Add 10 pts to Branden Skuin will be 100 TPE when prospect scouting is accepted
  12. Branden Skuin Defense 6 foot 4 inches 218 lbs 18 y o Finland Branden Skuin is an offensive minded defenseman with a shoot and pinch. He is't scared to get in front of the shot, neither shy in transition. The finland born player has a high potential to become one of the great offensive defenseman in the sport. Here in this scouting report we will go over Pros and Cons of this promising player. Although his debut wasn't as strong as expected, the kid showed great stride in his development went he was given top opportunity on the power play. Pros: Shooting : Even considering his slow start in his VHLM debute this season, the yougnster is an offensive force at the blue line either on 5 on 5 or on the powerplay. With 4 points and 2 goal his last 2 games with one PPG. The rookie gets more and more confident as the season progress we should see him pn the Philadelphia Reapers more othen than not. Skating : For a tall kid, Skuin skating is fluid and explosif. Althought he still has improment to do if he want to break in the big league. Defense : For an offensive defenseman Branden is responsible defensively. His yougn age tend to show with not well timed pinches and his puck handling but we wil get on that. He still has a +/- of 4 a since his first game even without any points the kid wasn't a minus. Cons: Passing ; As mention earlier, he is a shoot first type of player but he still has some solid grip to make those streach pass. Like i said earlier he is learning and he is still 18, don't worry fans he's at his 1st season Physique : For a kid this size its hard to think he wouldnt be strong. He isnt the strongest of all but he cant still hold hid own and he has a lot of room to grow. You can get stronger and learn things or two but size cant be teach. this kid has it. Puck Handle : This might be where he need to put up some more works. He tend to do a little to much with the puck, but even this is starting to get better in the last games with his new position on the powerplay. This kid is very promissing, exiting and will be for seasons to come. Allthought he is from Finland his best comparaison remains Erik Karlson mixted with Victor Hedman. Skuin os expected to be drafter in the top 30 in the upcoming VHL draft
  13. BRANDEN SKUIN 6'4" 218 POUNDS The Finland Rockey Branden Skuin was born in a small town in Finland from a loving mother and a hockey instructor dad. He started skating at a very young age always with his father by his side. As an only child he grew very close to his father. The only child spend most of his time training to be better and better with his father always by his side. Skuin was a skilled skater and scorer even at a young age. He lead his home town team to multiple gold medals and incredible memories for everyone involved in it. Branden and his dad were very close growing up, until a trip to Moscow for a Peewee tournament where the car was ambush by Radicals and Mister Skuin died in a car crash. With the lost of his father Branden worked even harder on his game. At the age of sixteen he switched from the wing to play defense. Skuin was always known to fill the net but with his size and skill he became one of the best Finland upcoming player. Still at the age of sixteen, Skuin dominate his year class. Standing at six foot two inches at the age of sixteen years old a very few players could bumb him off the puck. With his scoring abilities he leaded the rookies in goal and in point in his 1st season in the Liiga where he earned the named of the Finland Rocket. Branden was named rookie of the year in his 1st year in the Finland professionnal hockey. Skuin played 2 season in the Liiga consistently proving to the world he's something special. Branden, a offensive minded defensman with a huge heart who was never afraid to step up in the locker room to either pump up his teammates or to calm them when things got messy. In his 2nd year, he was named assistant captain at only 17 years old. During is draft year, Skuin brought his game to the next level. He was always known for his scoring abilities but he developed a exceptional defensive IQ more often than not at the right place doing the right thing. Skuin is a promissing prospects with flash of an Erik Karlson's like offensive habilities mixte with the two way play and size of a Victor Hedman. The Finland Rocket recently sign with the Philadelphia Reapers we're he intent to pursuit his yougn hockey career.
