Do you think we can take them down and if so, what's going to be the recipe for success? 2: You set a goal at the beginning of the season, or expectations for your player. Did you reach your goal/expectations, why or why not? 3: Was there any surprises for you this season in the M? It could be a player, or a team. 4: Per @Masu Chan's request, will the Seattle Kraken make the NHL Playoffs next season, why or why not? 5: Connor McDavid is currently on a tear in the NHL right now, do you think he can carry his team to the finals, why or why not? 6: Who was your favorite person/player to interact with in the locker room and why? 7: The NHL Playoffs are starting to heat up, which series are you enjoying the most so far and why? 8: Is there anything you are looking forward to next season in the M? 2. First ever two-time JST GM.
  3. Playoff run incoming!
  4. Always a pleasure to get blamed. #BlameCole
  5. Yeah, after being annoyed for the 54358438543rd time, I decided to join.
  6. VHL Appreciation Post Alright, there's not going to be much formatting for this VHL Appreciation Post, because to be honest, I don't really know specifically how I want to format it. Regardless, here we go let's get this Appreciation post underway! @samx@JB123 Might as well start with these two, because without these two, I wouldn't be in the VHL. Honestly, I kind of owe my entire experience here to these two people. I remember being in a different discord and hanging out, every single day being begged by Sam mainly to join this thing called the VHL, which I had no clue what it was to be honest. I would always go on NHL and play "be a pro", and when I figured out it was exactly like that basically, I was totally in. I was reluctant to join at first, but then JB123 kind of told me basically how much of the week it would take up and what I'd be doing. At the end of the day, I ended up joining the VHL and these two people I owe my experience to, thanks both of you! Also, sorry JB123 for not signing to the San Diego Marlins, you had a great pitch . @Alex@Masu Chan Next up, we've got the old Reapers GM, and old Reapers AGM who ended up picking me off of waivers in my first season as a member. I could go on and on about how fantastic these two people are, especially Alex who showed me the ropes and how to do everything that I know today. Honestly, my first experience being on a VHLM team was an amazing experience, and without Alex, there could've been a chance that I didn't return after my first season. On top of that, Alex ended up drafting me in the VHL to HC Davos Dynamo, which was great to see we were finally going to be reunited once again! I'm super happy and glad to have my career under Alex's GMing skills, because he's a fantastic GM and he does an amazing job. Now to Masu, who is the current GM for the Reapers. Masu and I immediately clicked right off the bat management wise, and I've been with him ever since. Masu is a great person to talk to about anything, and he also helped me with a bunch of my GMing jobs that I ended up landing in the last off-season, kind of teaching me the ropes on everything from the Simon Client, to just a general idea of how to run a team. Without him, I'd probably be lost as a GM and I've learned a ton being under his wing. Sadly, he has to suffer because the Leafs ended up getting eliminated, but I'm a Sabres fan, so Alex and I suffer even more . @Spartan Alright, this is a big one. I was trying to figure out where to put him on this list, trying to go in order of my career so far, but Spartan has honestly been one of the most important figures I've met in the VHL. I immediately knew that once I found out he was a Golden Guardians fan, that him and I would be friends for a very very long time. He's honestly such a great guy to talk to, and he's very knowledgeable too! Spartan was the AGM for the Brigade and he helped me along, answering a million of my stupid questions that honestly, I don't know if anyone else could handle, as he described it as "I feel like I'm babysitting a toddler.. LOL" All in all, Spartan is one of the people I enjoy talking to in the riot-games section of the VHL, and I for sure will stick around to be able to watch the Golden Guardians suck with Spartan crying along the way! @Shindigs Moving along, I've got Shindigs next that I'd like to give some appreciate to. Honestly, we started talking not too long ago, and he's just a great guy to talk about anything to, to be honest. I remember when we would talk about the VHLM GMs for the future, before he ended up being the Las Vegas Aces GM, and I was like "You're going to get the job for sure, there's no way lol" and look where they're at right now, dominating the VHLM! I don't really have much more to say, as we haven't been talking for a super long time, but I hope we can continue our HD rants in DMs! @KaleebtheMighty This'll be a short one, as I don't have too much interaction with Kaleeb, but with the short time I've had with him, he's been a fantastic GM. Istanbul this season has been a wild ride, and I'd like to thank Kaleeb for bringing me to such a wonderful franchise. At the end of the day, I'll only be able to spend one season in the E, but in the future, I'd love to return to Istanbul with Kaleeb at the helm. Seriously, he's a great GM and I hope you guys can experience being on one of his teams, it's a great time. @comrade cat@Dom@eagle_3450 Next up, this'll be a short one, but this is the Team Asia team that I was the GM for that made a miracle run all the way to the finals of the tournament. These three players in the locker room made sure that no matter what happens, we were having a good time. I still don't know how we ended up getting second place, but with a great locker room, anything can happen! @jacobcarson877@Brandon@Spaz Alright, this one is currently going on and is pretty recent. I want to thank Jacob and Brandon especially, because this season in Istanbul has been an absolute rollercoaster of a season, and these two have made our locker room a great place to be and honestly super hype. We started out as a middle of the pack team honestly, then we kept dropping games and it looked like potentially we could be towards the bottom, but then Siyan decided "It's time." and delivered one of the best speeches that will go down in Istanbul Red Wolves history, regardless of what the finish is. Istanbul then went on a 12 game win streak and currently are in a playoff spot. Our team this season has been nothing short of spectacular, and I would again thank those two people for honestly making it so special. I also wanted to throw Spaz in here, because he is the AGM for the Red Wolves and he also makes sure we're active in the locker room and having a great time, exactly what an AGM should do, good job! @Baozi@Nykonax@Enorama I know there is more people, but I can't find their username on the VHL website, regardless this goes out to all my boys in the riot-games part of the VHL server. Whether it be us playing League of Legends, or malding over the fact NA is awful at every single international event, or in general, it's always a blast to talk to you guys and you're all a main reason I stick around to be honest. @Moon Really short one, but thanks for letting be on that VHLM Draft Show and just sit there and say random stuff. It was a super fun time and hopefully I can do it again sometime! 1000+ Words, claiming next two weeks.
  7. @jacobcarson877 Time to start the winning streak again eh?
  8. Game 268 Recap: This next game had the Oslo Storm take on the Rome Gladiators. Both teams are not going to be in the playoffs, but they are battling to see who will not finish last in the VHLE. The game started with the Oslo Storm scoring just 12 miuntes in, from a goal from Jake Thunder, who scored his 21st of the season and has been having a fantastic season. However, just two minutes later Minou Lambert would score his 13th of the season and tie up the score 1-1 at the end of the first. We would head into the second where the rest of the scoring would happen in this game. Jake Thunder would yet again score for the Oslo Storm, scoring only two minutes into the game and netting his 22nd of the season. Rome would strike back though 7 minutes later, from a goal from Julien Bernier who would find his 13th of the season. Lots of scoring in this period! It would take another 10 minutes, but Zen Raider would net his 10th of the season towards the dying minutes of the second period to give the Storm a 3-2 lead heading into the third. There would be no scoring in the third and the Oslo Storm would take a 3-2 victory over the Rome Gladiators! My MVP for this game has to be Jake Thunder, who has been having a great season despite being on a bottom tier team in the E.
  9. Game 269 Recap: In this game the Vasteras Iron Eagles would be taking on the Bratislava Watchmen. Bratislava is currently fighting for their playoff lives, so this game was very important for them to win. We head to the first period where the Vasteras Iron Eagles were able to strike first, with Leando Goncalves scoring his 27th of the season halfway through the first. That would be all the scoring as we now head to the second period. Vasteras would go up 2-0, with a goal from Marcel Janser who would score his 13th of the season. We then move to the third period, where there would be a ton of goals scored. First, Benjamin Franklin Chang would score only 3 minutes in, his 29th of the season, putting the Eagles up 3-0, which looked like the game was over. However, Bratislava would strike back, with 2 goals in 6 minutes, coming from Matty Live and Harry Hagel to make the score 3-2. Benjamin would strike again, scoring his 30th of the season late into the 3rd, which seemed like this would be all Vasteras needs to take a victory. However, with 3 minutes left on the powerplay, Sock Monkey would score their 17th of the season and despite a comeback from Bratislava, they would lose this game 4-3. The MVP of the game in my eyes is Benjamin Franklin Chang, who had 2 goals and an assist, to help lead Vasteras to a 4-3 victory over Bratislava.
  10. Siyan Yasilievich - Confirmed to play for HC Davos Dynamo in VHL Next Season Joining HC Davos Dynamo Today, in an interview after the 7-2 victory over the Oslo Storm, where Siyan Yasilievich put up 5 assists, he confirmed that he will be joining the HC Davos Dynamo next season. Siyan had this to say about the matter, "Yep, I can tell you that I will be joining the HC Davos Dynamo next season. @Alex and I had a long conversation and we both agreed that my development in the E had been going according to plan, and that I would be joining the starting roster next season. I'm extremely thrilled to be apart of a VHL organization and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me. However, this doesn't mean that my journey ends here. I need to continue to further my game, and to help the Istanbul Red Wolves make it into the playoffs and potentially make a run to win it all." Siyan in his last 5 games with the Istanbul Red Wolves has 1 Goal, 7 Assists, good for 8 Points and is also a +4.
  11. A great tournament indeed, can’t wait to see who are the GMs this time. Gotta root for the Brigade!!
  12. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of May 15th, 2022 (You don’t need to answer every single one, just 6 for 2 TPE) 1: The NHL Round One is over, are there any Round Two matchups you're looking forward to watching, and why are you looking forward to them? 2: Do you think the Reapers are going to make the playoffs in the M, and if so what seed do you think we'll be? 3: Do you like the new Hybrid Attributes after almost a full season of them, or do you prefer the old ones? 4: This'll be a fun one. What NHL Franchise do you think is the unluckiest franchise and why? 5: Per @Masu Chan's request, who do you think is going First Overall in the NHL Draft, Shane Wright or Logan Cooley and why? 6: What team do you not want to play in the first round of the playoffs (if we make it) for the M and why? 7: What do you think the Reapers need currently and why? 8: What is your favorite topping on pizza? 9: What is your dream team that you want to play for in the VHL and why?
  13. HC Davos Dynamo Prospect Report Graphic
  14. HC Davos Dynamo Prospect Report Introduction Hello everyone! I'll be writing an article on the HC Davos Dynamo Prospects. I won't be covering every single prospect that the Davos Dynamo have, as that would be a lot of work. Instead, I'll be covering the ones that I think are most impressive, and that potentially have a chance at cracking the roster in the future of their career. I'll be going over their strengths, weaknesses, how their seasons are going, and other things too, so make sure to read it all! VHLE Skater Prospects Siyan Yasilievich (S83 - Defenseman) Position: Defenseman Team: Istanbul Red Wolves (27-20-1) Selected: S83 VHL Draft 4th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 8G 33A 41 PTS | +12 VHL Ready ETA: 1 Season User: @badcolethetitan Siyan Yasilievich currently is at the top of the list for the HC Davos Dynamo skater prospects. He was selected 4th overall in the S83 VHL Entry Draft, taken over some big names in the draft. Currently, Siyan is having a great season in the E, however, you'd hope he'd be putting up more points and contributing more to the offensive side. Siyan for a couple of games wasn't able to contribute offensively, and because of it, the Red Wolves went on a stretch where they dropped multiple games in a row. For the HC Davos Dynamo management, they're hoping Siyan can continue to develop his game in the E and take that extra step to be able to be ready for the VHL. If you're a hater of Siyan, there's good reason to be, as Siyan was hyped up to be an amazing defenseman in the E, however he has yet to crack top 10 in any category, which could be concerning. At the end of the day, Siyan will be cracking the VHL lineup next season for HC Davos Dynamo and I'm sure he'll have a great rookie season for the young team. Jake Thunder (S83 - Defenseman) Position: Defenseman Team: Oslo Storm (16-25-7) Selected: S83 VHL Draft 19th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 14G 43A 57 PTS | -3 VHL Ready ETA: 1 Season User: @Thunder Up next on the list, we have Jake Thunder a defenseman that was selected in the S83 VHL Draft. Jake Thunder was picked 19th overall by the HC Davos Dynamo, and he has been a pleasant surprise for the HC Davos Dynamo. Currently in the E, he is on a team that struggles to find offense, but Jake Thunder is leading the way for the team. Jake Thunder currently is above a point-per game in the E for defenseman, and he is 2nd in the E for points among all defenseman. This pick is looking better and better for the HC Davos Dynamo as he was an absolute steal in the draft, and his upside is absolutely crazy. This player will easily crack the lineup for Davos, and they for sure have a potential superstar in the making. This player hasn't gotten a lot of hype, as most people are talking about Siyan Yasilievich, but Jake Thunder should deserve all the praise, as this defenseman will be an absolute beast in the future. Alf Larsson (S82 - Right Wing) Position: Right Wing Team: Bratislava Watchmen (30-15-3) Selected: S82 VHL Draft 45th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 27G 24A 51 PTS | +11 VHL Ready ETA: 1 Season User: @ng1291 Now looking at the forward group, we have Alf Larsson, a prospect who was selected in the S82 VHL Draft. Alf Larsson has been having a fantastic season in the E, playing for the Bratislava Watchmen who currently are towards the top of the league. Alf Larsson currently leads his team in scoring, with over a point-per game and being an absolute force when he's on the ice. The reason why Alf Larsson isn't receiving as much praise as Jake Thunder or Siyan Yasilievich is because this player does have an extra season under his belt, but nevertheless, he is developing into a player that should be apart of the HC Davos Dynamo future. A lethal shooter and elite passer is what Alf Larsson will become, a player that is a jack of all trades offensively that can fill any offensive role on the team that you need. The only weakness in Alf Larsson's game is the fact that he cannot defend very well, but with a player of this caliber, it shouldn't matter. I fully expect Alf Larsson to crack the lineup for HC Davos Dynamo next season, or he will potentially be dealt in a trade to a different team, but regardless, he will be on a VHL team next season. Pete Mitchell (S83 - Left Wing) Position: Left Wing Team: Oslo Storm (16-25-7) Selected: S83 VHL Draft 11th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 24G 26A 50 PTS | -3 VHL Ready ETA: 1-2 Seasons User: @Crstats23 Up next for Left Wing, we have Pete Mitchell, a prospect who was selected in the S83 VHL Draft. Pete Mitchell is currently in the E, playing with the Oslo Storm, who are struggling and are towards the bottom of the standings. Despite this, Pete Mitchell is having a fantastic season, with over a point-per game with his team. Pete Mitchell is helping his team offensively, with Jake Thunder, the two stars of Oslo, trying to carry the team to victories. Pete Mitchell is a great two-way forward, focusing more on his shot and overall defensive zone play. Currently, Pete Mitchell is tied for 10th in the league for points, but is 6th in the league in goals, proving how lethal his shot can be. I could see Pete Mitchell cracking the lineup next season, should he choose, or if he would like to have another season in the E to develop, he could, however most likely this player will be on the starting roster next season. VHLM Skater Prospects Hayden Rain (S82 - Right Wing) Position: Right Wing Team: Mexico City Kings (6-37-5) Selected: N/A, Signed in Free Agency to Prague Phantoms then dealt to HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 25G 41A 66 PTS | -26 VHL Ready ETA: 2+ Seasons User: @Rain We now move on to the VHLM Skater Prospects, something HC Davos Dynamo doesn't have a lot of, which is honestly not a bad thing. The first prospect we'll be looking at is Hayden Rain, who currently is a Right Wing on the Mexico City Kings. Hayden Rain has been having an absolute dominating season in the M, with over a point-per game and 66 points in 48 games played, which is absolutely crazy. Hayden is an elite two-way forward, that plays a whole complete game at the M level. The biggest question mark for Hayden Rain is will this player ever actually crack the lineup for the HC Davos Dynamo. I could see Hayden being a potential depth piece in a playoff run for the Dynamo, but nothing more then that honestly. We'll see if this player could potentially be dealt in the future to another team that could use him. Hasbulla Magomedov (S83 - Left Wing) Position: Left Wing Team: Mexico City Kings (6-37-5) Selected: S83 VHL Draft 27th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 48 GP | 22G 33A 55 PTS | -34 VHL Ready ETA: 2 Seasons User: @Motzaburger To round out the Skater Prospects that the HC Davos Dynamo have, we have Hasbulla Magomedov of the Mexico City Kings. Mexico has been having an absolute awful season, but it doesn't mean some of their players haven't been producing at a high enough level. Hasbulla is one of those players, who is a point-per game player, and has been doing fairly well this season. Hasbulla is a natural leader, known for their playmaking ability on the ice. They have great vision at the M level, and hopefully they'll be able to translate that to the E level next season, where they'll play for the Rome Gladiators. Hasbulla will most likely crack the lineup in a couple of seasons, but when they do they'll be a great depth piece for the HC Davos Dynamo lineup. VHLE Goalie Prospect Red Gaming (S82 - Goalie) Position: Goalie Team: Vasteras Iron Eagles (39-6-3) Selected: S82 VHL Draft 30th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 37 GP | Record: 29-5-3 | Sv%: 0.935 | GAA: 1.78 | Shutouts: 6 VHL Ready ETA: 1 Season User: @Lilpfigher The first out of the two goalie prospects that the HC Davos Dynamo have that are worth talking about is Red Gaming. Red Gaming has been absolutely lighting up the E, with an absolute insane record and stat line, including his 6 shutouts. Red Gaming will be a center piece of the HC Davos Dynamo organization for years to come, playing with Boris and sharing time with him. Davos has to be very happy with the development of Red Gaming and moving forward, I can easily see Red Gaming potentially becoming the number one goalie and leading the HC Davos Dynamo to a future championship trophy. VHLM Goalie Prospect Sam Tombstone (S83 - Goalie) Position: Goalie Team: Halifax 21st (32-13-3) Selected: S83 VHL Draft 35th Overall by HC Davos Dynamo Stats: 44 GP | Record: 29-13-2 | Sv%: 0.911 | GAA: 2.14 | Shutouts: 4 VHL Ready ETA: 2 Seasons User: @samthemancub The last prospect we'll be talking about on the list is Sam Tombstone, the currently goalie for the Halifax 21st. Halifax has been having a stellar season in the M, and it's all thanks to Sam Tombstone who has been putting up amazing numbers in the M. Sam Tombstone looks like a great backup option after Boris will retire, or start to decline, and it seems the HC Davos Dynamo are really set between the pipes for the future to come. If you are a Davos fan, you have to be excited about the young talent coming in between the pipes, and with Red Gaming and Sam Tombstone being the future of your franchise, you for sure are going to be winning games. Sam Tombstone will need a season in the E to develop, where he was selected by the Oslo Storm. He'll for sure be tested in the E with the Oslo Storm, who are currently struggling and are in need of a goalie. Thanks everyone for reading the prospect report and I'll see you next time! 1500+ Words, claimed weeks ending: 5/22, 5/29, 6/5
  15. Siyan Yasilievich - Demoted to the Second Pairing Siyan Yasilievich - Demoted to the Second Pairing Siyan Yasilievich has recently been demoted to the second pairing on the Istanbul Red Wolves, who are currently 25-20-1. When asked why he was demoted to the second pairing, he had this to say, "Honestly, I asked to be demoted to the second pairing. Management wanted to keep me on the first pairing, but with how I've been performing this season, I think I could be doing much better and I need to find my game. Once I'm able to find my game again, I'll ask to be put back on the first pairing and I'll be looking to bring back my passing game that I'm known for." Siyan currently in 2 games on the second pairing has three points, all assists, and is a +1. He looks like he's finally starting to find his game again, and if he can continue to put up these numbers, I think he'll be right back on the first pairing and he will be ready to go again. Siyan Yasilievich Season Stats: 46GP 8G 30A 38PTS +9
  16. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of May 8th, 2022 (You don’t need to answer every single one, just 6 for 2 TPE) 1: The Reapers have been struggling lately in their games, why do you think that is? 2: As we start to get towards the later end of the season, do you think the Reapers will make any Trade Deadline moves? If so, what do you think they'll end up doing? 3: The NHL Playoffs are almost done for Round One, are there any surprises? 4: What team as of right now in the VHLM do you think has the best shot at winning it all? 5: What is your favorite Reapers moment this season so far and why? 6: What is your biggest pet peeve and why? 7: What is the biggest surprise to you this season in the VHLM? 8: Per @Masu Chan's request, will the Toronto Maple Leafs win the series in 7? 9: What is your favorite meal to eat for dinner and why?
  17. Game 137 Review: For this next one, I'll be reviewing a game between the Stockholm Vikings and the Bratislava Watchmen, two teams currently in the playoff hunt. The game would start with a pair of powerplay goals, as Barry Bonds Jr would score his 6th of the season, putting the Vikings up early 1-0. However, only 3 minutes later, Alf Larsson would score his 16th of the season, and it would tie the score at 1 heading into the second. In the second, Alf Larsson would score 10 minutes in, his 17th of the season, putting the Watchmen up 2-1. We would then head to the third, where the Vikings would be able to pull this one back and win. Mr Duk would score his 9th of the season, on the powerplay, only 50 seconds in! 5 minutes later, Pierre Emile Bouchard would score his 7th of the season, and then the Vikings would find themselves holding a 3-2 lead till the end of the game! I want to give a quick shoutout to Alf Larsson, who despite losing, put up two goals for his team.
  18. Game 143 Review: I'll be reviewing the game between the Bratislava Watchmen and the Oslo Storm. Currently, Bratislava is fighting for a playoff spot, while Oslo is at the bottom of the standings. We start this game off how everyone thought it would start, with Alf Larsson scoring his 18th goal of the season, putting the Watchmen up early. However, only 3 minutes later, Pete Mitchell would score for the Oslo Storm, his 18th of the season, evening up the score at 1. It only took another minute for Jake Thunder to find the back of the net, his 12th of the season, all of these goals by the way were on the powerplay. Later on in the period, Napoleon Dynamite would score, putting his 8th of the season in the back of the net, and having the score tied at 2 heading into the second period. The rest of the game would be all Bratislava though, as Alf Larsson would score yet again, scoring his 19th of the season and putting Bratislava up 3-2 early into the second. Only 5 minutes later, Napoleon Dynamite would score his 9th of the season, and it would be 4-2 for the Watchmen. The game would finish 4-2, with the Watchmen taking a big win that will help them in their playoff run. I want to give a quick shoutout to Hammar Voss, who had 4 assists, an assist on every single goal.
  19. Siyan Yasilievich - The Goal Scorer? Siyan Yasilievich and his recent success in the E scoring goals: In his past four games, Siyan Yasilievich has 3G and 1A, good for 4 points in that span. Siyan is more known of a "pass-first" defenseman, but he has been able to find the back of the net recently, elevating his game to new heights. We asked Siyan what he had been doing recently to be able to score more goals, in which he said, "Yeah, I mean I've always been a pass-first kind of guy. I'm always looking for the open opportunity and trying to feed the puck to my teammates. However, it seems teams in the league have been figuring out that I don't like to shoot, and they take away the passing lanes, so instead, I just drive straight to the net and put it in myself!" Siyan Yasilievich currently has 8G 22A 30PTS in 36GP with a +8. He'll be looking to continue to further his game and try to crack the top 10 in points for defenseman this season.
  20. Glad to be apart of such a star-studded young team! Can't wait to meet some new faces in this event. ^_^
  21. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of May 1st, 2022 (You don’t need to answer every single one, just 6 for 2 TPE) 1: What do you think the Reapers need to work on to be able to get into the playoffs? 2: Is this where you expected the Reapers to be in the standings at the moment? Why or why not? 3: What is your favorite fast food restaurant and why? 4: Which team do you think currently is the favorites to win it all in the VHLM and why? 5: What is your favorite movie and why? 6: Who do you think is the best player in the VHLM and why? 7: Which Reapers player is going to have the most points for our team at the end of the season and why? 8: The NHL Playoffs start today! Is there any team you want to win it all and why? 9: What is your favorite holiday and why?
  22. Game 120 Recap: This next game I'll be reviewing is between the Ottawa Lynx and the Mexico City Kings. The Ottawa Lynx coming into this one seemed to have it out for the Kings, as only 3:11 in, Jordan Messier scored his 9th of the season and put the Lynx up early 1-0. Only 5 minutes later, Jordan Messier scored yet again to put the Lynx up 2-0, a great performance from him in this game, which he now has 10 goals on the season! That would literally be all of the action in this one though, as the Lynx seemed to only have Jordan Messier show up and play, and everyone else stayed at home. The Lynx put up 31 shots at the end of the game and the Kings were able to put up 18 shots, in which Jean Mercier was able to go 18/18 in net! I want to give a quick shoutout to Jordan Messier who ended up scoring 2 goals and helping his team get a huge 2-0 victory over the Kings that will help them in the playoff race!
  23. Game 112 Recap: This game recap I'll be doing is between the Miami Marauders and the Saskatoon Wild, two teams vying for a playoff spot at the moment. We start with the first period, where it didn't take very long for Miami to get on the board, taking only 3:26 with a goal by Loki Baker DMD, scoring his 11th of the season. Shortly after, Hockley Mann fires one into the back of the net with his 8th goal of the season, putting the Marauders up 2-0 early into the game. That would be all of the action for the first though, as the Marauders would be up 2-0 heading into the second period. In the second period, Charlie Johnson only 9 seconds in cut the lead to 1, scoring his 8th of the season. This game was down to the wire, but at the end of the day, the Marauders would hold on and get a 2-1 win over the Wild! 24. Siyan has had a fantastic season so far putting up 5G 16A good for 21 points in 22 games, just below a point per game player as a defenseman. On top of that, he is currently a +15 for the team, which shows his development is going very well. HC Davos Dynamo has been paying close attention to Siyan in the E, waiting for his season to end to be able to call him up for next season. Siyan is very excited with how his team has played and is looking forward to potentially making a splash in the playoffs. We asked Siyan his thoughts on the season so far, to which he said, "Yeah our team has been doing pretty well I'd say. Obviously, you'd like to be first place, but sometimes things don't work out that way. We show up every day to the rink and try our best to impress our fans and get the win at the end of the day!"
