Siyan Yasilievich - Prospect Scouting Report Pros: Elite Playmaker: Siyan Yasilievich is an elite playmaker at the defensive position. Siyan has shown time and time again, that his first season was just a fluke. Siyan was able to put up 81 assists in 72 games, leading the entire league in assists. He was also among one of the top defenseman in points, showing the entire VHL that he is a valuable asset coming into the draft. The vision that Siyan has on the ice is parallel to none, and he can find his teammate's stick through the bodies of the opponents. A team looking for a stud, with pass-first mentality, able to dish out the puck should be looking at Siyan as a possible choice. Great Team-Leader: Siyan Yasilievich is a great leader in the locker room and on the ice. Siyan the second he stepped foot into the Reapers locker room last season, he was instantly already lifting the spirits of his team, leading them to the second round despite being a 6th seed. This season, Siyan was handed the Alternate Captain role and has not disappointed. He has such an interesting way to get his team pumped up before the game, from giving speeches, to singing "Party in the USA" with his teammates. Siyan is a great player to be around and has an infectious personality, bringing good vibes to the entire team. A team looking for a leader, and overall a great person to be around, should look to Siyan as one of their options. Solid Defensive Skills: Siyan Yasilievich can play a two-way game, not only being a threat offensively, but being a rock defensively. Siyan showed this season that there was improvements to his defensive skills, something that was lacking for him last season. This season for the Reapers, not only was he on the powerplay, but he was on the penalty kill. This entire season, Siyan had over 100 blocked shots, which show you that he is willing to lay the body on the line when it's needed most. Teams looking for an elite two-way defenseman that can play both sides of the ice should keep Siyan on their radar. Powerplay Specialist: Last up, Siyan Yasilievich is known to be one of the best powerplay quarterbacks in the entire league. Siyan can move the puck so well and generate chances for his team, where he was able to set up multiple teammates for easy tap in goals. You can count on Siyan to be able to thread the needle, and get the puck right on his teammates stick. On top of that, his leadership he shows on the powerplay calling the shots is second to none, something a lot of defenseman lack. In the end, you can count on Siyan to be the voice of reason on the ice, and to set you up for that Ovechkin one-timer that so many players will be looking for! Cons: Lacking Physicalility: Siyan Yasilievich is not perfect though, as he lacks physicality in his game. Siyan likes to make create plays and doesn't throw the body a ton on defense. He averages just a little bit over a hit per game, so if you're looking for someone physical to throw around the body, Siyan is not that type of player. Weak Shot: Last, Siyan Yasilievich lacks a strong shot. This is not to say that Siyan can't put the puck in the net, as Siyan had 15 goals this season, but being a pass first player, he doesn't seem to shoot the puck a ton. If you're looking for a go to guy to score goals for you and capitalize on chances, Siyan will not be able to do that for you and you should find someone better for the job. Closing Statement: Siyan Yasilievich is currently projected to go Top 10 in both the VHL and VHLE Draft. A lot of team's scouts have him ranked at the #7 or #8 spot, but we'll have to see where he is going to end up! Regardless of where he goes, Siyan Yasilievich will be a solid two-way defenseman and I'm sure any team would be pleased to have him.

S82 Philadelphia Reapers Awards Show Introduction: Good Afternoon my fellow VHLers! I've been tasked with hosting the Reapers Awards for Season 82 and I'm thankful for the opportunity. Before we start this ceremony, I'd like to thank @Masu Chan for a fantastic first season as the GM for the Philadelphia Reapers. He did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for anyone else to be under as an Assistant, hopefully there's more years to come! I would also like to thank former Reapers General Manager @KaleebtheMighty for the banners used in these awards. As a reminder, even if you aren't nominated for an award, you were an important part to this team's success this season. Despite us getting bounced in the second round, we had an amazing season and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Let's get this show underway with the first award! The Reserve Reaper Award The first award we'll be handing out is the Reserve Reaper award. This said award is given to the Reaper who excelled at a limited bottom six role for the Reapers. They might've not had the most ice time, but their numbers and stat-lines showed that they have a bright future ahead of them! The nominees for this award are: Gus Bentley, Budnik McDangle, and Chikeli Cholo! The winner of the Reserve Reaper Award is: Chikeli Cholo, @bobikeb! Congratulations! The Risible Reaper Award The next award we have is the Risible Reaper award. This award is given to the Reaper who is seen by most as the Locker Room leader. They don't need to be the Captain, or the Alternate captain, however they always seem to take the lead and work to lift the spirits up of their fellow teammates. Even if they weren't wearing the "C" on their jersey, their destiny will be to wear one in the future, regardless of what team. The nominees for this award are: Red Gaming, Siyan Yasilievich, and Gus Bentley! The winner of the Risible Reaper Award is: Siyan Yasilievich, @badcolethetitan! Congraulations! The Rough Reaper Award The third award we'll be handing out today is the Rough Reaper award. The Rough Reaper award is given to the Reaper who isn't afraid to get to the dirty areas and throw hits on the ice. They're also known to stand up for the superstars on the team, something every team needs! The nominees for this award are: Bobby Rockwell, Orr, and Ammon Tutankhamun! The winner of the Rough Reaper Award is: Bobby Rockwell, @Kairi! Congratulations and thanks for sticking up for our teammates! The Resilient Reaper Award The fourth and second to last award we'll be handing out today is the Resilient Reaper award. This award is handed to a player who played the best in high pressure situations. It didn't matter if it was Game 7 of the Finals, or a normal regular season game, this player always had a cool head and performed when the team needed them most. They often ended up playing the most minutes and even if their points don't reflect how well they played, they still were a massive part of this team's success. The nominees for this award are: Red Gaming, Dylan Powers, and Eldon Escobar. The winner of the Resilient Reaper Award is: Red Gaming, @Lilpfigher! Congratulations! The Righteous Reaper Award The last and final award to hand out this season is the Righteous Reaper award. This award goes to the player that produced the most on the team, and played a massive part in the team's success throughout the entire season. The nominees for this award are: Siyan Yasilievich, Sebastian Dokis, and Bob Chicoine. The winner of the Righteous Reaper Award is: Sebastian Dokis, @Sebastien! Congratulations!
