Molly the Cat, the Vasteras Iron Eagles have made the VHLE finals but are trailing 3 games to 1? Tell me what is going on in the locker room, how are you preparing for game 5? Well, we are feeling upbeat about game 5. We are a dedicated team, and our plan is to leave everything out there tonight. You are going to see a driven team who is looking at taking this series to game 6I know there has been some discussion in the media about some curse in Vasteras, but we do not understand it. This team has so much going for it that there is no way we can believe in a curse. I feel good in saying that tonight you are going to see a hard-fought game from the Iron Eagles. Molly the Cat, do you have any predictions on whether you will have any points tonight? As I said we are all coming with everything we have. I expect to play a strong part in the scoring of the team. I know in doing that I will need to play a disciplined game and stay out of the penalty box. I can contribute more on the power play than in the box. No guarantees but you may see a multipoint performance tonight. Molly the Cat, Christopher Young is having a spectacular playoff so far, how important is it for him to have a great game tonight? Chistopher Young is a talented player, but we are not putting any pressure on individual players. We will win or lose as a team; it is going to be a full team effort. Now that being said we know that our top players, our team leaders, will be the first to step up their games. It is going to be a wonderful game to watch, the fans should really enjoy it. Molly the Cat, once the season is over, what is going to be the first thing you do? We have had a tremendous season in Vasteras and the players have all talked about staying in town for a couple of days after the season is over to just celebrate the victory we had. It will be more special if we can do that with the championship but regardless, we had a tremendous season, and it will be great to take some time and enjoy ourselves. After that is finished, I plan on heading home and spending time with family and friends. Then it will be back to training and preparing for next season in the VHL. I have already been in contact with my new GM, and we are looking forward to building a stronger, more competitive team in London. I have a good chance of becoming a top player for the team for years to come. I am extremely excited about next season. Molly the Cat, as this may be your last interview in the VHLE are there any last words you want to say? I want to take a moment and thank the VHLE fans, and specifically the Vasteras fans. They are some of the best fans in the world. They show up every night, cheering, excited to see their team. As players we can ask for anything else.

This article hopefully will be a little lighter and more fun than some of the other articles I have written. I have had fun over the last 2 seasons writing my theme week article and so I thought I would put together this article providing some fun options for topics for Season 85 Theme Week. My first suggestion would be to have players do an article pretending they are a new team developer trying to promote an expansion to a new city in one of the leagues. They can pick a place for it to be established and can put together an argument on why it would be a suitable location. In the article they could cover items like revenue potential for a team, benefits for the players who will play there, and potentially how that city would fit in with the other teams already in the league. My second suggestion is a little more whimsical, in doing a pet of the VHL. Everyone could do a small article introducing their pet, or a pet they wish they had, and if some people are dead set against pets, they could explain why they do not like pets. Pictures would be very welcome and the odder the pet the better. My last suggestion would be to have everyone write a random news piece about something that happened to their player in the offseason. It could be a fun happy piece about how they were involved in a charity golf tournament, or it could be about how all their luggage was lost as they moved to join a new team. Give the chance for players to be creative and tell a story about their player in the world of the VHL but not directly tied to a specific game recap. If you read this article feel free to respond and provide other fun options for VHL theme week.

Molly the Cat, game 3 of the VHLE semifinals has just finished. Vasteras Iron Eagles have just beaten the Cologne Express for the third straight game, how are you feeling? I would be lying if I did not say I was feeling great. It is always a wonderful feeling to be ahead in a series and a 3-0 lead is what every team is hoping for. Although the series is 3-0 it has been a close contest. The Cologne Express are a fantastic team with some extraordinarily strong players. We know that they are going to come out hard in this fourth game looking to take a win. You do not have players like Malum Maellard and Velociraptor Greg on your team without having the capacity to win. All three games have only had a one goal differential. I expect that you will see a hard-fought match in the next game. Molly the Cat, let us talk about the other series going on in the VHLE, first have you been paying attention to it and if so, what are your thoughts so far? Of course, we are keeping up on the match between Istanbul Red Wolves and the Bratislava Watchmen. Part of our preparation for the next series is to watch and analyze game tapes. We are looking for any advantage we can get. Both teams are exceptional opponents with talented players, we are using what we can to learn as much as we can about them. With the series sitting at 2-1 it is difficult to predict where this one will go. It would not surprise me if it went a full seven game series before a victor is decided. We hope that may give us an advantage going into the first game against whoever our opponent will be. Molly the Cat, how are you personally feeling about your contributions on the ice? I will admit I was a little disappointed in my performance in the regular season, I do not feel like I hit my stride and I fell just short of my points target but so far in the playoffs I feel like things have come together. So far 4 points in 3 games with a game winner in our first game. Sitting only 1 point out of being tied for first on the team for points. I will admit that getting some ice time with Christopher Young helps, the hand eye co-ordination and shot that he possesses is exceptional. The hat trick the other game as the game winner was tremendous. Molly the Cat, is there anyone you would like to take the time to thank before we end the interview today? Every year there are always so many people who assist in making a league like the VHLE happen. It takes hard work and dedication by many to ensure it goes off without problems. First, I would like to thank our General Manager and Assistant General Manager for the work they do every night ensuring that we know our lines, in keeping communication open and in helping with our training. Next, I want to take a moment and thank those involved in the league itself, the commissioner, and the broadcasters (Simmers), without them the league would not run as smoothly as it does. Thanks to everyone who makes the VHLE a success.

Thanks for the response, wasn't really expecting one. They were just random thoughts after seeing the results from the All star games that were Simulated on the different version. I appreciate you taking the time to read my random thoughts and responding.

I took part in my first all-star game and was intrigued by the use of a higher version of the simulation software. This newer version of software produced significantly more offensive based results. Since those games I have been left wondering about a few things. 1) Should the VHL move to a newer version of the software for all games? If yes, then to what version and for what purpose. Are we looking for more offensive output from players, or would we choose a version that supports stronger goaltender numbers? 2) With newer versions of the software being developed, will we see a reduction in support for our version and will one day we be forced to upgrade. What would this mean for the VHL? Would upgrading come at a cost. 3) Other than changes to the balance between scoring and goaltending are there any other benefits to changing software versions? Would it allow for other options that the community may benefit from? 4) Who makes these decisions, is there already a committee or an individual that is tasked with evaluating the various versions of the software with the explicit task of making recommendations? What criteria are they using for the analysis? 5) Could there be an option to try one of the newer versions in the VHLM and or VHLE, in order to test the impact of a change without causing undue problems in the VHL? If a different version was used in the VHLM or VHLE would it create different build methodologies that then wouldn’t transition well into the VHL. As I said, just some thoughts I had.

1) Would love to see a Toronto/Edmonton Rivalry 2) Would love to see a Vasteras/Istanbul rivalry 3) I like Cook Books 4) My main goal is to win 5) Vasteras is winning for sure 6) I am not brand loyal, I buy cheap shoes.

Molly the Cat, the Season 84 VHLE regular season is almost at an end and the Vasteras Iron Eagles have pretty much locked up third place in the league. Tell me how you are feeling about the playoffs and your first-round opponents? Although we have basically locked up third in the conference, we do not yet know who our first-round opponents will be. The Bratislava Watchman and Istanbul Red Wolves sit tied with 92 points each. It is going to be a fierce fight for first place. Either way it turns out, the Vasteras Iron Eagles are working hard to get into playoff shape. We know that we need to focus on ourselves and make sure we are prepared for the playoff battle ahead. We are feeling good about our chances. Molly the Cat, are you surprised about how strong a season that Istanbul and Bratislava have had this year? Not really. If you look at the two teams, they have a strong core of players who are contributing every night. On top of that they have some exceptional talent that is leading them in scoring. I am not surprised by any of the players leading the teams as I had the chance to play with all of them with the San Diego Marlins. In Istanbul you have Fraser Wallace, a fast well-balanced center with spectacular vision and hockey sense. There is not a goalie on the ice who can figure out what he is going to do when he has the puck. With his talent he can either choose to score or can dish it to anyone on the ice. In 68 games he is sitting with 41 goals and 43 assists, a threat no matter what. You then look at Bratislava and you have the combination of Tyler Busser and AK92 Wit da Hoodie. The combination of raw offensive ability in Tyler Busser and the defensive depth and playmaking ability of AK92 Wit da Hoodie and it is no surprise they are doing as well as they are. San Diego Marlins alumni continuing to grow together, and build off each other. These two are going to be offensive forces for years to come. I hope the VHL is ready for them. Molly the Cat, as you finish this year and look forward to your VHL career with London United is there any one aspect of the game you are focusing on? That is an exceptionally good question, over the last season I have spent a bit of time focusing on a variety of offensive skills, working on my strength, shooting, passing, etc. But as I enter my VHL career I am spending time on my defensive skills. Through conversations with existing VHL talent I have come to the realization that those aspects designated as defensive abilities help with tasks like puck retrieval, forcing turnovers and blocking passes out of the offensive zone. Applying the Defensive skills in the offensive zone can allow for more puck time and more opportunities to score. Molly the Cat, one last question. In our very first interview this season you noted that your goal was to hit 50 points this season. With 4 games left do you think you will reach it? It is not going to be easy; I will need a few multipoint games, but I am not writing it off yet. I am going to push right to the end.

In preparation for the upcoming playoffs the Vasteras Iron Eagles have made a couple trades. They have added Left Wing Justin Adolfson and Defenseman Matty Live. Justin Adolfson is a rugged, hard hitting forward who has the ability to put the puck in the net and play strong defensively. The Vasteras Iron Eagles look forward to having Justin Adolfson contribute over the remainder of the season and into the playoffs. The offensive talent this player brings will be a big asset in pushing towards the championship. Justin Adolfson will join offensive strengths Phoebe Bridgers and Dogwood Maple on the first line. The combination of these three players is expected to produce some fantastic goals. Matty Live is a solid stay at home defenseman who shows glimpses of offensive talent. The Vasteras Iron Eagles look forward to having Matty Live on the team. The strong defensive play of Matty Live will help in both 5 on 5 play as well as the penalty kill. Matty Live is expected to play with Faith Hope Love, and the two of them should form a formattable defensive squad that should be able to slow down and even stop the top offensive teams in the VHLE. Most members of the media agree that GM Arce has made two blockbuster moves that will position the Vasteras Iron Eagles as strong contenders for the VHLE Championship this Season. Hopefully these players can quickly get accustomed to the playing style and managerial style of the team, becoming highly contributing members. There is a growing buzz in the VHLE about the Vasteras Iron Eagles, this may be their year.

Molly the Cat, thank you for doing this special interview. You have just finished a tour of the VHL hockey hall of fame, I know there is a plethora of fantastic simulators, museum quality exhibits and historic artifacts inside, what was your favorite? It has been years since I toured the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame, and I have to say the newer computer-based interactive exhibits are fantastic. I circled back three times to the shooting simulator. To have the opportunity to shoot pucks against some of history's best goaltenders, some of the players I watched as a child, it was a dream come true. I could have spent all day at that one exhibit working through all the Hall of Fame Goalies. As I had to be nice and let others take turns also, I did get the opportunity to face off against the first ever goalie inducted into the Hall of Fame, Matthew Pogge. To face off against one of the best players to ever put on the pads, and to be able to do it with him wearing his original gear. I am humble enough to admit that out of the 10 shots I only scored twice. I am not sure if there is a goalie playing in the league today that has a glove and blocker hand that can match Matthew Pogge. That had to be an amazing experience, can you tell us about some of the other simulations that people touring the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame can experience. Outside of the shooting simulator I would have to say my next favorite was the skating simulator. To be able to put on a pair of skates and do speed drills against some of the historically great skaters was also a mind-blowing experience. I will admit I did not test myself against the best skaters but took the opportunity to skate against one of my all-time favorite players, Zach Arce. Zach Arce had retired long before I remember watching hockey but he was my father's favorite player and so I spent a significant amount of time studying his career. From his 2nd round draft selection, to his first game in both the VHLM and VHL to his development into one of the best play making RW in his era of the game, it was a wonderful experience to be able to skate with such a legend, even if speed was not one of his best-known traits. Molly the Cat thanks for sharing that personal story with us. Outside of the simulation exhibits can you tell us about the other portions of the VHL Hockey Hall of Fame and a highlight for you? Definitely. I would have to say the highlight of the exhibits was the trophy room. Most people found themselves staring at the Continental Cup and I do not blame them, I expect most hockey fans have at least once in their lives wondered what it would be like to hoist that trophy. I personally spent a significant amount of time in front of the Scott Campbell Trophy. I am hoping one day that I will see my name on it, to be recognized by peers, the media, and the league as being the player with the most value to their team. I think that would be special. Molly the Cat, our interview time is quickly ending, do you have any last words for your fans? The VHL Hockey Hall of Fame represents the best of the last 15 years of the VHL, VHLE and VHLM. It is a time capsule of the best hockey league in the world. I think all fans should take the opportunity to visit it, to take in the exhibits, to look at the trophies, to square off against the best hockey talent ever.

So, this is my second season within the VHL system, so I don’t have a lot of experience or knowledge of the history of the league. I have learned some things through conversations with others and as a result of an article I wrote about the inevitable demise of the VHLE. In full honesty I was expecting a little pushback on that article, but I got a lot of agreement and a history lesson. I will admit the theme week post is going to be difficult. I mean what do I know about the 15-year history of the VHL. Honestly, I do not know much about the current VHL. However, I do like a challenge, and I love TPE. So since I can earn an additional 6 TPE by making a post about VHL at 15 I am damn well going to do it and I am going to get those TPE So here is what I have done so far. Step one was to talk with my son who has been at this a little longer than I have. Not a successful conversation as all that has happened since is that he has whined that his TPE submissions are still sitting in pending and have not been approved. I guess as a side note I could comment on the recent history of TPE approval, a quick question on the forum would get me several opinions. I also put a note on the Vasteras discord server hoping that my VHLE GM and others on my team will help me with ideas and historical context to hopefully make this simpler but if that is not the case, I will find out what I can in other ways and go from there. Anyway, here is to the task of Theme week. I will do this, I will earn the TPE.

1) My favourite thing is the community. 2) Would be interesting for the VHL to expand to Montreal and Berlin 3) I'm sorry I don't understand this question, there are other sports outside of hockey? 4) Best thing about my place of residence is the proximity to everything. Worst thing about where I live is the extremes in weather 40 to -30 Celcius 5) I expect to make the VHL next season, should be capped at 400 in the next couple weeks. 6) I would love to lead the league in goals.

Happy Birthday VHL, love the TPE

Molly the Cat, thanks for sitting with us again this week. I want to start out by asking, you were promoted to the top line this week, how is it going? It has been a great experience being on the top line, my linemates are fantastic. Phoebe Bridger and Dogwood Maple make playing hockey easy; they are wonderful players who know how to position themselves on the ice and have fantastic passing skills. My first couple games did not go as planned but as the week went on, I was able to get comfortable with them and was able to put a couple goals in the new. I hope I can spend a little more time playing on the first line and continue to offer up some great plays. Molly the Cat, Vasteras is now sitting 3rd in the VHLE holding a solid playoff position. What do you expect from the team and management down the stretch to prepare for what may be an inevitable series with either Istanbul Red Wolves or Bratislava Watchmen? First, I want to note that Istanbul and Bratislava are fantastic teams. They both are going to be tough opponents in the playoffs. However, I also want to note that just because a team did well in the regular season it does not mean they will excel in the playoffs. We are a resilient team that is going to fight hard until the end. Between now and the playoffs beginning we are going to be pushing for the best from everyone, and we know that management will be looking for any options to improve. As players we recognize that there may be trades, not something any of us are looking forward to but we also know it is a reality. Molly the Cat, your VHL team the London United currently sit outside the playoff race and are having a sub 500 year. How are you feeling about things? It is never an ideal position to be outside the playoff race in a league, but we all know that some teams make it and others do not. I am in contact with my teammates there and I know they are doing everything they can to improve. The VHL is the top Hockey league in the world, pulling in the best talent from around the world. Every year there are teams that fall short filled with exceptional talent. However, my focus is not on how they do this year, I am looking to make sure I am able to make them better. When I join them either next year or in the future, they will be a better team. My plan is to bring them the best of myself and help to raise London to new heights. Over the next few years, I plan to bring London United fans something to cheer about. Molly the Cat, one last question, Rookie of the year race in the VHL, do you have any opinion on who you expect to see win? Rookie of the year is an important milestone for any first year VHL player. It takes skill, determination, and a strong supporting team to achieve that milestone. At this point in the season, I am not sure there is a clear candidate. Sogaard and Bouchard do look like the clear favorites but the tandem in Calgary of Wolanin and Goncalves cannot be underestimated. Time will tell but I expect it to be a race until the end.
-
Molly the Cat, the VHLE is about 1/3 of the way through the season. Give us an update on how you are doing, how your progress towards your goals is progressing and what if anything you are looking to change? So, we are 26 games into the season, and I am currently sitting with 6 goals and 14 assists. That is a little behind the pace I had set for myself but is very reasonable. Last year I did put up more points in the second half of the season and I expect that this year may be similar. I am putting in a lot of training, and I am seeing the results of that. Now the hope is that it will reflect on the scoreboard. As for looking for changes, not anything right now. It is more a strategy of continuing the hard work I have been doing. Molly the Cat, is there anyone on Vasteras who you have been watching, that you are trying to emulate? I have really been impressed by Christopher Young and Maxwell Mathias. Both these players are having exceptional years, but both are doing it in a very quiet and humble way. They are both exceptional players. Maxwell Mathias specifically has been able to manage 32 points so far as a defenseman, posting a +4 rating have 50 hits and 54 Shots blocked. All I can say is I am glad he is a part of my team, that man hits like a truck. Molly the Cat, I have heard it said many times that goaltending makes an enormous difference in that ability to win a championship. Do your current goaltenders have what it takes to win the VHLE championship? I agree that goaltending has a huge impact on the ability of a team to win a championship and I will admit before everyone that I think that Balileus Jute is a top goaltender in this league. Every night he comes out to play hard, focused on winning. He is the backbone of the Vasteras Iron Eagles. We have every opportunity to win with him in net. Molly the Cat, we have heard rumor that you have been spotted having dinner with members of the NHL community. Is there any truth to the rumors that you plan to leave the VHL league to pursue the NHL? I will not deny the rumors, I had a wonderful lunch with two NHL players, one past, one current that both happen to be Vasteras citizens. We had an amazing lunch at Frank and talked about hockey. What I will deny is the rumor that I am looking to leave the VHL. I am a student of the sport of hockey and so when I was approached by these two individuals to go out for lunch, I took the opportunity. They are great athletes who have had amazing careers within the game of hockey, I took the opportunity to ask them questions and learn from them. Nowhere in the conversation was there anything about me changing leagues. I am committed to the VHLE and to the VHL. I look forward to playing out my career here.

Current Vasteras Iron Eagle right winger, Molly the Cat, had the opportunity to sit and have lunch with Hockey legends and Vasteras citizens Nicklas Lidstrom and Mikael Backlund. Having had the pleasure of accompanying Molly the Cat on this excursion I am hoping to provide fans of the Vasteras Iron Eagles a glimpse into an off-game day. Taking in Lunch at the fantastic Restaurant Frank, Molly the Cat enjoyed the Frank Rules Dining menu, a fantastic four course sampler menu. Molly the Cat chose to follow the seafood option and remarked a few times about the fantastic dishes the Chef had created. At Molly the Cat’s, request I am noting specifically in this article that Frank’s is Molly the Cat approved, they highly recommend that fans of Vasteras Iron Eagles take the opportunity to go and enjoy the fantastic dishes. Conversation at the table began light and friendly while the food was being enjoyed. During the desert, the conversation became more interesting and, in some ways, more animated. Molly the Cat had the opportunity to ask several questions to both hockey legends about their careers, working in sports after retiring from playing and some of the decisions they made along the way. Nicklas Lidstrom, a 20-year hockey veteran defenceman and current Vice President of Hockey operations for the Detroit Red Wings spent a lot of his time discussing his daily habits while he played. Focus was spent on discussing nutrition, workout methods, timing of workouts and post workout recovery. Considerable time was also spent discussing on and off ice training. Molly the Cat took notes on all the details that Nicklas offered with the hopes of self-improving . Mikael Backlund, Alternate Capitan, and current Calgary Flames Center spent a lot of time discussing the role of leadership, especially player leadership on a hockey team. Mikael discussed several challenges and issues that arise in leading a professional hockey team. Molly the Cat, recently named alternate captain for the Vasteras Iron Eagles was grateful for the discussion and is hoping to apply a number of strategies to their time in Vasteras.

1) I am hoping to get at least 50 points, at least 20 being goals 2) No vacation plans yet, will be going away for my anniversary. 3) I enjoy interacting with my son, although my wife is getting tired of hockey conversations 4) First impressions, the entire VHLE structure seems like an afterthought, and is not cohesive with the VHLM/VHL structure 5) Go to food would be anything containing large amounts of meat. 6) Favourite logo is Seattle Bears. Least favourite is London United.

On June 17 2022, right after the Season 84 Draft Spartan wrote the following concerning the draft choice of Molly the Cat. London United - 12th Overall RW - Molly The Cat Molly The Cat rose up the draft boards quickly over the course of this season, especially since she's been training extensively with fellow young VHLer, Landon Wolanin. The development has been excellent, and London sorely needed a winger to replace Nils Godlander for the future. With only Zaza Colors remaining on the roster as a legitimate first line winger, and Ablar and Avens serving as solid second line wingers, London will hope that The Cat can eventually fill that role. While it's certainly doable, it's a large ask for someone who just joined the VHL system this past season, so there's a healthy dose of skepticism. Prove me wrong though! Draft Grade: B+ The Vasteras Iron Eagles and London United are posting this joint update. In a joint interview with the GM of both London and Vasteras they have expressed that they are very happy with their selection in the Season 84 draft. Molly the Cat has continued to develop within our combined systems, and we believe that their career is looking bright. We still expect that Molly the Cat will develop into a strong scoring winger that will be able to help Vasteras this season and London in future seasons. Molly the Cat has also been working on some of the secondary skills that will make them an excellent all-around player who will make their mark in the VHL. At this point everyone expects that Spartan will be proven wrong.
-
Molly the Cat, you are 13 games into the VHLE season, can you give me your initial impressions on your team? Well, we have a talented group here in Vasteras. The Vasteras Iron Eagle’s management did an excellent job in building a talented group of players. We have a group that can get the job done at both ends of the rink. It starts with our goaltending, Basileus Jute, currently sitting with a .92% save percentage and a 2.34 GAA. At this level of play those are great statistics. As a result, we get the chance every night to win. If we look at our Defense, we have an extraordinarily strong defensive core but prove every night that they can help keep the puck out of the net. But what is more amazing is that they have been heavily involved in putting the puck in the net as well. With players like Maxwell Mathias and Faith Hope Love, it makes the entire team function better. Then we get to our offense. The trio of Pheobe Bridgers, Christopher Young and Dogwood Maple have started strong, all point per game players. Expectations are high with this group Molly the Cat, during this offseason you were named Alternative Capitan for the Vasteras Iron Eagles tell us your thoughts? First, I am not sure I deserve this honor, we have so many talented leaders on the team. I have had some conversations with the GM, and they have encouraged me to really get into the roll and to be a leader on and off the ice. They have been extremely impressed with my work ethic and practice regiment. They are hoping that I can spark some of the other players into pushing harder in their training. They have asked me to lead by example, so I have been doing that. Giving everything, I have on and off the ice each week. Molly the Cat, how are you feeling about your start to the season, how that is lining you up for your goals for the season and what that may mean for your future? Everyone hopes they can get off to a great start. Right now, I have 4 goals and 4 assists in 13 games. If I keep up this pace, I will fall just short of my points target for the year, but I feel confident that as the season continues that my points pace will pick up. I feel confident that the training I am putting in will end in results. I am not looking to change anything yet. I will keep pushing and we will see where things go from here. Molly the Cat one last question, Vasteras Iron Eagles what are their chances for a championship this year? I am not one to make bold predictions, the reality is there are a lot of good teams in this league, all of which are fighting for the same goal. Any one of them could succeed. What I can say is that Vasteras will be one of the teams in contention, we are too good not to be. We will have to wait for the playoffs to see exactly what happens but we will be there.

I will admit up front that a a player just starting their second season ever I lack a lot of credibility. Yet as an intelligent person I can quickly see that the VHLE was a stop gap measure and does not have any long-term viability. Based on what I have been able to find out, the VHLE was introduced to handle an influx of players during Covid. So many new players joined that there was not enough room on teams in the VHL for people. As such the VHLE was introduced to handle the overflow for the lower TPA players that did not have the TPA criteria to hold a position within a VHL roster. Whoever produced this idea, I will admit, came up with a very intelligent and creative option. However, with enrollment now dropping off the VHLM is struggling to have teams large enough to fill positions. For example, the San Diego Marlins currently, and this is being written one day before the season is to begin, has 5 players. 2 forwards, 2 defense and a goalie. The ability to field a full lineup is now declining which leads to the league having less credibility. The natural solution to this issue would be to abolish the VHLE at some point in the future and then increase the TPE CAP in the VHLM such that the expectation would be that players would spend 2 seasons in the VHLM. They would then graduate to the VHL and play the remainder of their career. Now I will admit there is a second option. That option would be to find a way to flood the VHLM with new players making it a sturdy base for supporting the VHLE and VHL for future seasons. This recruitment would need to be maintained such that the process could continue. Without this happening, the collapse of the VHLE will be required. Just my opinion.
