  1. I can't believe John Richards is allowed to just return to the league, no penalty, no punishment, nothing! This is preposterous! The man hasn't played hockey for the better part of 5 seasons and he's out here talking about how he expects a 40 goal 100 point season?! Absolutely preposterous if you ask me. How can you come back from so much time off and expect such high numbers? I mean the guy has produced at a high clip at every level he's played at but never at a 100 point pace! I am so excited to see how this season turns out for him because if he is wrong, you better believe I will be here writing another article voicing my opinions on why you all should've listened to me. An article that I already see being named "I Told You So". If Richards does produce and does exceed his own expectations then good for him I will not slight him any bit for doing what he set out to do since before the season even started. Don't get me wrong, I personally think that it is very good to set personal goals for yourself but to set goals as ludicrously as that just shows that you're cocky and arrogant to me. I mean if you're going to set a goal make it reasonable like I can see Richards scoring 90 points but 100 is a reach. All in all I think Richards is a very good player and a very kind man off the ice I just had to voice my opinions on his recent words.
  2. John Richards has been missing for quite some time. He is back to show the VHL and the VHLE that you can't get rid of him that easily! I bet you're all wondering what happened to him so I will tell you; John Richards decided to take his vacation pay from the S85 Marlins and go to Jordan. He hated the country so he went to Chad and also hated it. Once he ran out of money, Richards left on foot to Europe where he found out that he was supposed to be playing hockey for Bratislava but it was too late. Richards signed with Cologne this season and as he embarks on his comeback season he wants to prove to the league that he is serious about his career and hopes to continue to be active throughout the rest of the season. I believe that John Richards will be very valuable to the Express and signing with a team of familiar faces, Richards should produce at a high clip in no time. Adjusting to being with another new team has never been easier, Richards will be able to make more friends, more memories and, more gm's disappointed that they didn't draft him. John Richards will have a career year this year and the Cologne Express will be a championship contending squad with Richards leading the way, the Cologne Express will be hard to beat. I believe that this signing will benefit both the team and the player as he tries to re-enter the league. Richards has always been successful no matter where he's been, there is no reason to believe that he won't be dominant in Cologne. I am positive that with proper linemates and ice time that John Richards will be a naturally great leader again like he was in Ottawa in the VHLM. John Richards is a leader, a dominant winger and, a natural born scorer. He cannot wait to begin the season and begin to strike fear into the hearts of the other teams in the VHLE. He expects to have a 40 goal 100 point season as he believes that he is fully capable of it and is on the right team to unlock his offensive capabilities. John has been pondering the thought of returning to the VHL because he thought that his career couldn't be resurrected but, he is back and is going to try his best to make this career the best it can be. I hope that Richards can be a top point producer and an elite goal scorer. I hope that his journey to the VHL goes well and he earns a spot on a VHL roster soon. I believe that his comeback journey will be successful and he will be a fulltime VHL player like he used to be in no time at all. Once the next season rolls around, John Richards plans to update regularly and be active in the VHL like applying to GM or AGM in the JST again and reacting to media spots and articles like he used to. He can't wait to see what this season is holding for him and he is excited to get it underway. Now it's time to sit back, relax and, see what the season entails for Richards.
  3. Last night I was informed that I would be called up to play for Davos of the VHL next season. I am excited for this opportunity although I have quite low TPE. I currently sit at 352 TPE but I assume I should be well over 400 by a quarterway through the season. It all really depends on when the season starts since updating is weekly and all. My goal as a rookie going into next season is to bring positive energy and vibes to the LR of the Davos hockey team. With familiar faces in the orginization I should be able to get comfortable relatively quickly knowing people from places like the JST, VHLM, VHLE, Pro Am, Draft Interviews or from picking their player in the VHFL. No matter how I know them, may it be a little interaction or may it be a considerable amount of time like them being a former gm of mine, I will always be familiar with who they are. I have a good understanding now of who mostly everyone is sort of and would like to continue this trend as I embark on another season in Davos. I will do my best to be as active as possible but with exams and sports it may not be so good from me in the next month. I also plan to get into management roles, I will be applying for JST gm as well as Pro Am gm and if possible an AGM spot at the VHLM or VHLE level. I am hoping that by the time these opportunities present themselves, I won't be so busy with sports as by the end of this season it should be nearing the end of the basketball season for us and we will be in the 2nd semester. Badminton follows the basketball season and I plan on playing that too so hopefully the schedule for that isn't terribly hard. I am hoping for badminton to have a lighter schedule so I can have more time to commit to the VHL and work on Richards. When Richards retires there will be another player made named John Richards Jr. This man will be the son of John Richards and will continue his legacy in the VHL. Obviously retirement is still a little ways away but it's closer than it was before. I am excited to join Davos and hopefully I can bring them the kind of depth scoring I know I can with 15 goals and 20 assists I think I could be a very useful 3rd line scoring option. An option on the PP if wanted and with the way he plays, he can throw hits so he can play that 3rd line role perfectly. I feel like I would fit in with the right pieces around me to guide me in the right direction. I am hoping that by the time I am due for another contract, I will be above 600 TPE and slowly starting to put up impressive numbers on the scoresheet and in general like hits and blocked shots. I would love to have a 30 goal season at least once in my career which has always eluded me ever since setting the goal in back in my first full season in the VHLM where I scored 29 goals. I then scored 21 with Stockholm of the VHLE as a rookie. I will score 30 eventually and I won't be denied of it.
  4. if this was food on top chef gordan ramsay would be amazed that's how good this looks meanwhile I am harsher than gordan and I have to ask WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE?!
  5. This article is going to be about complete nonsense like all of my other articles. I went to my locker room in Stockholm and saw president Clinton in his office while Ovechkin had the basketball on the court. I walked to Poland and cried because Yachty already took the wock to Poland. This was when I knew that I had been outsmarted by the spanish man named Spanish Man. Fernando then proceeded to Feliz Navidad and disappeared through my home into the garbage can of my rats cage. This is why I only scored 20 goals this season. I had rats on my cats on my bats on my hats, it was tragic. One day my VHL career will end and it will be epic. No one will remember Richards and that's because he was Estonian not Canadian. He only said he was Canadian because he wanted to play for the Canadian National Team during International play. His socks are wet. Arms strong, knees are heavy there's blood on his jersey already. Richards should be a popstar. One time I heard him sing to the hockey gods, he sang California Gurls. This has been absolute nonsense and I hope it made whoever reads this laugh or at least lose some brain cells.
  6. Unfortunately our season in Stockholm has come to an end after failing to make the playoffs. For Richards, he has missed out on 2 of the 3 possible playoffs appearances so far in his career making his career playoffs appearance chances from season to season is 33%. Richards had one of the most disappointing season he's ever had offensively. 20 goals isn't a disappointment but the fact that he only scored 40 points. As captain of the team or former captain not sure if the captains got reset or something but, as a member of the leadership squad on Stockholm, 40 points isn't good enough. I have made it a personal goal to update as much as possible while I am on Christmas break. I want to be able to help out my team as much as possible and upgrade my stats as much as possible. I want to take advantage of the hollidays and be as productive as possible with each league that I'm in. Next season I think Richards will be starting out with Stockholm again and hopefully with some of the top players for the Vikings graduating into the VHL, Richards will have more opportunities to score and really do what he excels at which is goal scoring. I am hoping for a ton of individual success for Richards and a ton of team success for both Stockholm and Davos. Once the offseason begins I will try my best to jump on every opportunity possible to earn TPE. I will also try my best to be as active as possible in the LR of both teams as this past season I wasn't really there much. I was usually very busy with volleyball. Richards game revolves around offense and he excels in the offensive zone. Once Richards gets the attributes he needs up, he will be a prolific threat all over the ice and will most likely score every night. I hope to see my friends excel too as Kirby and Sadie are probably going to the VHL next season, I hope they both have great rookie seasons. I hope Sadie continues her offensive prowess and scores 25 goals at the VHL level. I hope Kirby posts a shutout in every game she starts in. I hope that Kirby can be a reliable backup to whomever Davos has next season and eventually become the starter. As Kirby and I progress through our VHL careers and become the main guys for the Davos team, I hope we can win a few championships before our careers are over. This offseason is going to be eventful for Richards, he might not head into next season as the captain, he might still struggle to find his game. I think that Stockholm next season will be good and I think we will make the playoffs and push for a deep run. I think that this offseason will be a teller one for the team, we could commit to a playoff push or commit to a rebuild. Whichever happens, I'm hoping that all goes well and that the new players that come to the team do well and exceed in their roles.
  7. John Richards, I known goal scorer and former VHLM star, has been seen last taking the garbage out of his great grandmas place. Ever since he hasn't been able to find his great grandma. His grandmas name is @sadieand she is one of the oldest farts around. She enjoys breakdancing like the hip cool kids nowadays and dunking in basketball. She stands at an astonishingly tall for grandma height, 4'8 and has a vertical of 78 inches. Sadie is truly gangster. Her great grandson, me of course, is too handsome to forget that his stove was on so he sat and watched his house burn but forgot his brother @kirbithan was still in the fire. John's brother took an L there. John proceeded to hit the gritty before realizing that his brother was climbing out of the flames and screaming no balogna. That's when I knew, I was in love with Dom Toretto. Dom and I had something in common, we were both bald. That's why my wig is in my foot beneath my sandal socks for real bbg. Mr G walked in and said Damien will slap the holy ghost outta me and I laughed then proceeded to ping pong on my brother named Kirby. He bad at Fortnite. One day Richards found it and left it behind so no one knows where it went. We are all asking where did it go? The real question is, why did it not go and to that I say Amen brother.
  8. Drafted into the VHLE by the Stockholm Vikings, Richards has once again started off slow. As of late, as usual, Richards has started to heat up. Richards has amassed 20 goals on the season after only having scored 12 in the first 50 games, nearly 40 points for the kid and he's still rolling. Stockholm may not be in the position we had all hoped to be in at the beginning of the season but, we're still not out of the race. Stockholm needs everyone to contribute and keep contributing to the teams success this means Richards has to continue to be the best version of himself and still be a reliable secondary scorer on this highly offensively minded Vikings squad. Players like Sadie St-Louis are go-to players for us when needed in big moments but that doesn't mean Richards isn't included. With his scoring attributes pretty high and his defensive attributes starting to get higher, one can only assume that Richards will be a dominant offensive threat come time for the playoffs. Although this hasn't been the season Richards had hoped it'd be, he's still happy to have scored 20+ goals in every league he's played in so far. When Richards ends up in the VHL playing for Davos, his goal will to ultimately score a 30+ goal season. John Richards has had an interesting and quite good career so far as a first gen. Richards has captained 2 teams and has lead one of the teams to the playoffs where unfortunately they didn't go far. That team was the Ottawa Lynx of the VHLM. This season, the players of Stockholm had voted rookie John Richards to captain their team. When the news broke out that I'd be the captain of this team I was surprised, not only was I a rookie but also I was very inconsistent at the time with communication. I couldn't even vote because of how busy I was. I thought for sure the captain was going to be Sadie but apparently I have natural leadership abilities and I won't complain. I like to captain teams as I love to keep people in a positive mindset. I may get mad at myself if I feel I'm underpreforming but, at least it isn't directed towards my teammates or management. I look forward to the rest of the season and it should be interesting to see how it all ends up. I will do my best to update as much as possible whenever I can but with hollidays coming up, I will be busy. My goals for the rest of the season is to finish it strong with a good push to make the playoffs and continue my offensive prowess. I hope to score about 25 goals and 60 points by the end of the season. I may not reach the capped TPE limit for the E during the season but, I should be able to during the offseason. Anyways this has been the update and a recap of Richards' first VHLE experience and it certainly won't be his last!
  9. Sadie it's ok the fry incident won't happen again, I'm sure Kirby isn't a repeat offender...
  10. no lol I tend to make my articles less serious and more entertaining for the sake of having fun so it makes the read more enjoyable and the writing more enjoyable as well.
  11. John Richards woke up one day and decided he wanted to become a hockey player. He joined his local Rec hockey team at the ripe young age of 83 and absolutely dogged on them kids. Skating laps around them 3'7 kids one named T Mii Upp. With the best hair on the team, Richards became a silverback gorilla and haunted his father. One day Richards didn't want to be gorilla so he decided to go Mean Margaret mode on his mirror and then ate his toothbrush while @sadie cried in the shower because she left the fry alone too long. John turned into John 2 and was better than John. John had officially died. John 2 is now John better. Anyways, John 2 was a lizard and watched tv while hanging upside down from his floor with a broom. @kirbithan ate @sadie fry so she is now a monster. We canceled @kirbithan and we all cheered up because the absolute unit of a dog the pomeranian @Jason kranzcame in and said "oy, this is my house" and crapped on the carpet. John 2 died because this tragic moment so that meant that Kirby was uncanceled and was now a menace to society. Kirby was soon placed on the FBI's top 10 most dangerous things list. No one has ever seen Kirby since the "Fry" incident and Sadie hasn't stopped crying since. Jason is living his best life eating tomatoes and wathing whatever dogs watch on youtube. John Richards' Chronicles PT.2 maybe next week.
  12. I have taken a little break from max earning due to my volleyball schedule being pretty crazy. I am back this week with a vengence and I will earn as much as I can. Let's talk about the season Richards is having thus far for Stockholm. Richards has been underwhelming to say the least, he hasn't scored nearly enough points or goals to be considered an actual threat. I hope that things will turn around as the season progresses. Stockholm as a team has seen great success and looks like a contender. I hope for sustained success of the team and I would love to lead this team through anything. I haven't been as active in the locker room because again just been really busy with volleyball but, I promise to be more active after next week. I can't say anything more positive about the team. Sadie and Kirby are playing to their best of their abilities and we have a top 5 scorer in the league on our team. Everyone has played very well up to this point in the season and I am hoping that this success continues into the later stages of the season and then the playoffs. A goal for me is to win a round in the playoffs with this team. My first year in San Diego where I met Sadie and Kirby, we didn't qualify for the playoffs. The following year I played for and was part time captain for the Ottawa Lynx where we had one of the best regular seasons but got upsetted in the 1st round to team we really shouldn't have lost to. This year I am hoping that the Vikings can make a deep run in the playoffs and extend the season to the furthest. I am hoping we come home with a championship but we have to take it one game at a time. I am captain of this Vikings team and I want to apologize for being MIA for the past few weeks. I have just been extremely busy with sports and farm work, not really any time to get on the forum and earn like I was in the summer. I will be back in 2 weeks for a little bit because we have Christmas break and volleyball provincials end on Saturday. I have joined basketball so my schedule will get crazy again as we are already signed up for 3 Junior Varsity tournaments. I will do my best to keep earning the most I can and be involved with the Vikings team. On a side note I need 500 words for this to get me 6 TPE so I need to ramble a little longer, sorry y'all. I will now talk about how my favourite NHL team, the Tampa Bay Lightning are 5-1-0 in their last 6. The only loss they've suffered was to a rolling Bruins team and I couldn't be happier with the way they've played in this stretch. The Bolts are coming off a win tonight against the St. Louis Blues 5-2 with Nick Paul sealing the deal with an empty net goal. I am hoping the Bolts make the finals again because I want to see an official dynasty in the salary cap era.
  13. John Richards took the wock to Poland. John Richards is an exciting prospect and a consistent earner. He will get you goals, assists and points, he can also get you penalties hits and blocked shots. He is a versatile player who has experience playing forward and defense. Excited for the VHLE draft and the VHL draft, Richards has been listening to the song Poland by Lil Yachty on repeat. Most memorable part of this offseason for Richards was when he got interviewed by Vancouver. Being Canadian that was a big deal for the young forward. Down 0-3 in the second round of the JST playoffs, Richards continues to be consistent with the point totals. He was incredible in the regular season for the Lynx then, in the playoffs he had almost 2 points per game. In the JST, Richards again proved to be one of the best forwards out there scoring the most points for his team. During the playoffs so far he hasn't been as good but he is still around a point per game. Consistency with Richards was an issue from the very beginning, the only reason he had 12 points in those 13 games after his first ever season with the Marlins was because he lit up the Hounds and put up a career high 4 goals in a game. The very next season his struggles to stay consistent as a scorer continued as for the majority part of that season he was disappointing for the Lynx. He then went on a huge point streak of I think 32 games and ended the season with well above a point per game. He then got drafted into the JST, where he and the Royals were one of the toughest opponents a team could face. You could almost count on seeing Richards' name in the scoresheet after every game. He also got drafted in the Pro Am and is now playing with a ton of former teammates. Richards has contributed nicely with 2 goals and 2 points so far. The Pro Am has not been kind to the teams that Richards has been on but, he does enjoy playing alongside his friends and people he knows. He is also playing alongside some future potential teammates. Excited would be an understatement for Richards, he really likes the way his career is shaping up and is hoping that one day the trio will be reunited, possibly as recreates or maybe as we all wind down our careers in the VHL. We have been reunited in the SBA along with @Jason kranz we also have Bobo and Pifferfish too. Lemorse is the GM so a ton of familiar faces there in the SBA. I hope that one season in the E will benefit Richards' and possibly make him look like the most dangerous rookie coming into the VHL. He hopes to be an ROTY candidate but doesn't expect to be because @sadie and @kirbithan are tryhards and will most likely earn more than I will. I hope that Richards becomes a dynamic goal scoring winger, who can provide his team with whatever they need, grit, scoring, defense, anything.
  14. I believe you Spartan. You are a very wise person.
  15. Last week I may have had a few VHLE GM's confused for the lack of updating that had been done. I want to apologize and explain why. I play volleyball and I am super competitive in any sport I play, with this extremely competitive mindset comes a lot of self-pressure. I push myself to be better and when I don't meet my standards I get mad at myself and it's not fun. I have played 28 volleyball games in the past 14 days. When I got home from games or tournaments of practices I am exhausted. I will be back to updating regularly and max earning for the next few weeks but basketball season will start soon and that's the sport where I will really battle with myself mentally, please don't get too upset with me future GM if I don't max earn, I will try my best every week but I might not be up to it or just be sleeping due to exhaustion. To lighten up the mood of this article I wanted to say that I am proud of the Ottawa Lynx for their performance in the regular season and post-season. Although we lost in 7, I am still very proud to be former captain of the Lynx and couldn't have had better teammates and AGM and interim GM. Thanks to everyone in the VHLM who made John Richards the player he is today.
  16. There is a trio in the VHL right now that is probably one of the most popular "trio's" the VHL has ever seen. The trio consists of @sadie@kirbithanand myself. Kirby joined the VHL a little bit before Sadie and I but not too long after we arrived. The way we found out about the VHL is through a YouTuber by the name of JustMatt. When I joined I thought the forum was hard and confusing to navigate but as I grew accustomed to it I quickly learned how to get from place to place quite easily. The dumbest one of the group is definitely me, I always have questions to ask when I should know the answers to them and I still have no idea what I am doing. Kirby and Sadie have helped me with this and also started something called "The Book Of Dimmensia". I would have to say the most fun time I have had with the other 2 is when I made the San Diego Marlins in NHL 22 and simulated what it would be like if everyone on that team at the time had NHL careers. I would stay up until 4-7 in the morning simming season after season and keeping track of stats and awards. Once that was over, I waited to get drafted. I eventually got drafted with the 9th pick in the first round of the VHLM draft by the Ottawa Lynx. The Lynx also acquired Sadie with the 4th overall pick but couldn't pick Kirby. Kirby returned to San Diego where she would impressively carry them to a 2-2 tied series with the Aces in the 1st round of the playoffs. Last offseason we all joined the JST and the Pro AM. In the JST, Kirby and I were reunited on the Pickles. As the Pickles went on through the JST and reached the playoffs, we lost. We lost in round 1 unfortunately. I joined the Pro Am and got drafted to the "J Team" where we lost again. This time that loss was miserable. Sadie and Kirby got drafted to Lemorse's team the Ground Squirrels or something and they were pretty good. This season, Sadie, Kirby and I were all appointed captaincy roles at one point in time. I was the only one to be stripped of it out of the 3 of us. I guess Lil Z didn't like me. Near the end of the season, tons of controversies happened. Bedirhan, Lil Z, the Helsinki GM (although it was valid reason still was a controversy at the time), Achilles complaints and many more. The Lynx were forced to make a change in the management roles as Lil Z got fired and it was up to the interim GM to let Jason, the AGM go or not. Moon became the new GM of the Lynx and we carried on as usual. We played at a snails pace to end the season as we lost the majority of the games, but we already clinched so it didn't matter. In the playoffs we went up 3-0 against the Reapers and I scored 10 points in 4 games as the Reapers won game 4. The Marlins didn't have a very easy time in their first round matchup though as they were down 2-0 to the Aces. During games 3 and 4 Kirby put the team on her back and carried the Marlins to a win in each game. The playoffs aren't over but it'll be exciting to see if the Marlins can knock off the back to back champions and if the Lynx will pull a Maple Leafs and blow a 3-1 series lead.
  17. Now that the VHLM regular season has concluded, I would like to share some thoughts about how it went. I was at just over 100 TPE heading into the season, so I was not the best player out there and often struggled to score points and goals etc. I got to 200 TPE about two thirds of the way through the season and I started to pop off. I had a 19 game point streak where I scored 40 points and really boosted my stats on the season. Earlier in the year I wrote a media spot or an article talking about my goals for the season. I said I would love to score 40 goals, but that didn't happen. I think I said I would like 100 points too but that also didn't happen. This season I scored 29 goals, 57 assists for 86 points in 72 games. I almost had a 30 goal season which would've been a really good milestone for me but being 1 off of it isn't a big deal. In total for my regular season career I have scored 35 goals, 63 assists for 98 points in 85 games. I was so close to having 100 career points in the M but it's ok. I seem to have been a well rounded player all year as I could score goals and set up teammates as well. I had two games this season where I had 4 assists but I did not record a hat trick. All in all, I am very happy with this season and so far in the postseason the Lynx have been doing tremendous.
  18. I have 10 points in 4 games we should've won already Philly got me scared now.
  19. great to see the enthusiasm, Achilles! I wish you the best of luck in your future endevours.
