:ott:1. How do you feel me and Z are doing so far?

I think y'all are doing a tremendous job so far but I think I am causing a problem when it comes to big moments.

:ott:2. How do you think our defensemen are doing so far?

    they've made all the impact.

:ott:3. Are you happy on how your player is performing so far, and if not why?

heck no, I should have about 10-13 goals right now and I am sitting at 7 I can't score and I am even more inconsistent than I was last year.

:ott:4. What award would you like to win at the end of the season?

I honestly don't know any of the awards names haha.

:ott:5. What do you think is our biggest weakness so far, and how could we fix that?

I don't think we have an outstanding weakness I think the team is quite balanced.

:ott:6. What is your favourite movie?

my favourite movies are the John Wick trilogy.

    Hi Sadie,

I've looked at a couple of your graphics and you are doing some nice work, keep it up.  On this John Richards graphic, I really like the mirroring effect you used with the multiple colors.  A couple things to work on to help move your graphics to the next level would be to 1. In the area between the elbow and stick try removing the white area so the background shines thru and 2. I know this one is challenging but removing the original last name and adding the VHL players last name on the jersey would be great.  Overall, great work, I wish some of my initial attempts were this solid.  7.5 out of 10

    DK

hehe I asked her to keep stammers name on there!

  3. The current S85 VHLM season has started and I am absolutely choked. I upgraded a lot of defensive coverage and offensive vision along with all the other super strong attributes and the results just hasn't been where I think they should be. Though it is still quite early in the season I am worried that my production won't pick up at all and I will still be an inconsistent goal scoring right winger in the VHLM. I was placed on defense for two of the seven games that the Lynx have played thus far and I scored 1 goal. So maybe that was why my production took a hit from game one of the season where I was the first star and had 2 goals and one assist. I was scoring at a really good pace and had a lot of fun. I had 3 goals in the first 2 games of the season and then now I have 4 goals in 7 games and I still only have an assist to show for my efforts.

As the captain of the Lynx I know I need to be better. If the teams expectations are to make the playoffs and do well in said playoffs I have to play better. My lack of offensive production and with how much of a defensive liability I am, I don't help the team in any way. The top 3 players on the Lynx have been struggling offensively but now that we're all back on a line together we should be able to benefit off one another. This theory will be tested as todays sims get simmed. I am excited to be back on offense where I am best suited and hoping for an outburst of scoring from Sadie Brayden and I.

Goaltender Fuukka Rask has been carrying the Lynx to victories in some games and hasn't gotten any recognition for it. The guys are extremely happy with his performance in net aside from the one bad game. If Richards Brayden and Sadie can figure out the offense then the Lynx will be quite a dangerous team moving forward. We have a really good record of 5-1-1 but it doesn't feel like I had anything to do with it outside of games 1-3. I like the Lynx but we have to figure out the offense. Hopefully todays sim will determine whether Richards is just that bad or if playing defense was holding him back.

I hope we win both games today and my goal is to score at least one goal and an assist. I will be happy with a 30 goal season but I really want that 40 goal season. I want to be the best captain I can be and lead the team by example. I want to help the team win and if we lose we lose as a team. Night in and night out I want to go out there and do a little bit of everything. I want to throw a big hit or score a big goal or make a big assist. Whatever I do I want it to help the team and benefit my teammates going forwards. No more mumbo jumbo or messing around Richards is here to score and that's just what he'll do. Tired of the inconsistency, I want to be able to ignore it and keep shooting and hopefully good things will happen.

  4. As most of you know, Lachlan has came out and said he gets nervous. Lachlan has recently gotten drafted though and he was taken 6th overall by the San Diego Marlins in the 1st round. Sadie and Richards were both drafted in the first round as well but not to San Diego. Sadie went 4th overall to the Ottawa Lynx and Richards went 9th overall to the Ottawa Lynx as well. Now that the trio has been split up it has felt really weird.

Richards feels bad for getting so angry with former teammate Lachlan Summers and Sadie had to kick him out of her apartment because they play for opposing teams. The Jordani Bingting look alike is now homeless with his 78 pet kangaroos. Rumour has it that Lachlan currently lives in the Marlins lockerroom due to an agreement made with Marlins GM Jacob.

Richards has decided that today is the day that he will talk to Lachlan about things. Richards and Lachlan planned a meetup at a local coffee joint in San Diego to discuss their friendship. The result of the discussion came to be that Richards accepts Lachlan for who he is although he scammed everyone close to him. Now Lachlan has to clean Richards' house and take him out for dinner some night soon. Lachlan agreed to the deal.

Now that Lachlan, Sadie and Richards are all good friends again the drama and the story ends here.

:ott:1. How do you think our team is doing so far?

I believe we are 5-1-1 right now so that's pretty good.

:ott:2. Which player do you think is doing the best right now?

I think everyone is doing quite well but Fuukka deserves more recognition.

:ott:3. At the end of the season what place do you think we'll be at?

we'll be top 3 in the league mark my words.

:ott:4. What do you think of the lineups?

I like them how they are right now I was really bad on defense lol.

:ott:5. Are you planning on being a GM one day?

I was thinking of being a GM of the JST sometime but I am too busy with school sports and the farm to be a full time GM but I have thought about it so maybe one day later on.

:ott:6. What is your favourite sport?

Hockey is my favourite sport forever and always.

  6. John Richards, Lachlan Summers and Sadie St. Louis all entered S85 VHLM Draft all completely oblivious to what was about to unfold. The first overall selection told us that this draft is going to be unpredictable. Rick Grimes goes first overall. Then at 4th the Ottawa Lynx had their first selection of many in the draft, with the 4th overall pick in the draft the Ottawa Lynx selected elite forward and max earning left winger, Sadie St. Louis.

Sadie was not the first former Marlins player to be taken off the board as goaltender Alexander Minion went third overall. The San Diego Marlins made a surprising move with their first pick in the draft at 6th overall selecting goaltender Lachlan Summers. This meant the final player in the trio that has yet to be chosen is John Richards. The fact that 3 former Marlins ended up going in the first round was surprising, especially since general manager Jacob of the San Diego Marlins took a lot of heat for drafting a goalie with that first pick when there were high level forwards to be drafted.

John Richards was waiting patiently for his name to be called by a team. He didn't go 7th or 8th but Ottawa had the 9th overall pick in the draft too. General manager Lil Z makes the selection and it was Richards who ended up being drafted. Feeling really proud, he questioned why they would waste a first rounder on him when there were so many better players they could've taken instead of him but he's happy he got reunited with Sadie.

Richards is sad that the trio couldn't stay together but he knew that it was virtually impossible for that to happen. All that's left now is to be the best he can for the Lynx and help the team to a winning record and hopefully they make a run in the playoffs. Playing with Sadie on the wing with possibly Brayden Albrecht or Don Aven in the middle would be a deadly line. He is excited to start the season and get rolling.

John Richards has set some goals for himself for the upcoming season. These consist of between 30-40 goals and possibly 40-50 assists he hopes to have over a point per game this season and hopes that he can stay consistent all the way through. He got better consistency wise towards the end of the season with the Marlins and throughout the JST round robin and playoffs was nearly a point per game everywhere he played except for in the Pro Am. He wants to have 25-30 blocked shots or more and over 60 hits on the season when it's all finished as well.

Sadie has already made plans to be the set-up woman for Richards as he chases his goals to be a premier goal scorer in the league. She has an elite scoring ability as well. She was over a point per game with the San Diego Marlins and did very well in the JST too as her team won the tournament. We cannot wait to start the season together and though we will miss Lachlan we still have our entire careers together to play together again one day.

  7. This is part 2 of what happened last week between Lachlan Summers and John Richards.

As Lachlan and his 78 pet kangaroos were chilling watching YouTube, Lachlans husband, Francis Dutchman, walks through the door. He sees Lachlan and Marcus and the rest of the kangaroos all sitting around and asks the kangaroos to go to bed. Marcus didn't have to because he got special privellages due to him being absolutely massive and Lachlan was scared of him.

Francis sits down next to Lachlan and asks him how his day went and Lachlan tells him the truth. Francis, being the supportive husband he is, calls the police to take Lachlan away. Lachlan felt betrayed. His best friends couldn't accept him and now not even his own husband. As the police arrived Lachlan broke down in tears. The police took him down to the station and asked if he would like to make his phone call.

Lachlan wanted to do that and so he did. Lachlan ended up calling Sadie St. Louis to come pick him up. Once Sadie arrived she asked Lachlan what happened, Lachlan told her and this time Sadie understood. Sadie and Lachlan went back to Sadies house for the night.

next week is part 3 of this ongoing challenge that faces goaltender Lachlan Summers.

:ott:1. Are you happy that we drafted you, and how do you feel about it.

I am happy I got drafted by you yes, especially since I didn't expect to be a first rounder.

:ott:2. What team do you think did the best in the draft and why.

Ottawa for sure had the best draft, although Vegas' was quite strong as well but, I think Ottawa because, we have a lot of really good forwards in Brayden Albrecht, Sadie St. Louis, Don Aven and I; also we got a really good goalie tandem.

:ott:3. Do you think we will make the playoffs and if yes/no why.

We for sure will make the playoffs! Our offense can carry and if it can't we can ride Rask on some nights.

:ott:4. Who do you think will be our biggest rival this season and why.

The San Diego Marlins not from a competitive standpoint though, we drafted a lot of former Marlins so they might be trying to prove something to us when the games come.

:ott:5. What build are you going for, for your player.

I am hoping Richards comes out as a supreme sniper in the league but has good passing ability. Trying to make him like Steven Stamkos with that lethal one timer on the powerplay.

:ott:6. What is your favourite NHL team.

With the Stammer reference I think it is obvious that it's the Tampa Bay Lightning but I will throw a curveball at you, my third favourite team is the Vancouver Canucks souly because I think Boeser and Miller are amazing and I love Thatcher Demko.
