1. This is definitely normal. It is hard to determine who will be 1L and 2L before the season starts. You may have an idea of who will play where but not a solid answer just yet 2. I love it! Building chemistry with my teammate while playing a sport I love.. golf!! 3. Definitely option 2. VLG is a great captain 4. VLG. He’s a stud and a great player to have and lead D.C. He has such a high ceiling and has already accomplished so much 5. No. I think our team has some real potential this season and we have a great GM, no way are we getting rid of him! 6. I think so. As a rookie in the league this year it’s going to be a challenge but I’m hoping my player will really prove himself this year

I would like to apply and get the chance to work with Gustav

1. I think Marchand deserves a letter, I also am going to go with Masu. I may just be biased cause I’ve GM’d with the guy but he’s a great player who will do great things and I believe would be a great leader 2. Get at least 30 points in the VHL. I’m a rookie so it’ll be quite hard to produce but I’m hoping at least 30 points and be in the running for rookie of the year 3. Probably my goal scoring. I always thought of my player as more of a playmaker but had 38 goals last year 4. Vasteras. I believe they are going to be a good team again this year but so is Cologne. So it’ll be a battle 5. Nashville.. not great, definitely not great but I’m honestly surprised that they’ve done better than I expected considering I thought they were trying to rebuild 6. I want to say Matthews. He’s kind of gone on a slump recently since he’s scored 6 goals in 2 games though -

1. Lots of partying and lots of drinking. A week rager all over the city of Cologne. New location every night!! 2. Sjin and Clark are both very very deserving of the award, Clark stood on his head in the playoffs helping us pull through and Sjin led our team in points and really helped us make it to the chip and win 3. Masu for sure. I love him and his player, he would be such a good addition to our team and on the blue line 4. I think we could see a 3-peat . The team is looking super strong and I’m excited to see how they do 5. I think AI Land, as a devoted member of Cologne and staying down in the E for his career. I wouldn’t be surprised if he led the team or even league 6. He’s done amazing! Sjin has completely turned this team around and has won 2 championships in his 2 seasons with Cologne (I believe unless it has been 3 seasons). He’s an amazing GM and has done such a great job and very proud to have played under and with him -
Thank you lol, thought I tagged that one but I guess not

Canada didn’t have enough active D-Man, so I got to pick from other countries and players who weren’t chosen by them

1. ITS NOW 3-3!!! I knew we could make the comeback now let’s bring home the chip tomorrow!! 2. Honestly I’m just surprised overall with Bratislava. I’m pretty sure they have a negative goals against average and are still here in the finals with us. Seems a bit odd but guess it worked out in their favour 3. Well henry has certainly helped lol. But me, Sjin and Clark have really stepped up to help the team take it to game 7 4. Again I would say, Me, Sjin and Clark. We are all doing great in the playoffs and all very well deserve playoff mvp 5. I think they will finish top 3, definitely going to have a very solid team next year so I hope they can bring home the chip 6. I do drink but I’m not a big drinker so I don’t really have a fav. For soft drink I would say Cream Soda, Dr. Pepper or Pepsi!! -
I’d be down to do it again! Was a lot of fun last time

1. Sadly we couldn’t complete the sweep but I still see us beating Vasteras in the series. 2. I think Clark knows we are the underdog team against the top team so he’s really stepped up his game to show everyone we are better than we were in regular season 3. I think Rome is going to win, they have such a good team so I would be surprised if they lose 4. I would like to play Bratislava only because I feel it may be an easier challenge compared to Rome but I still think Bratislava would be a good challenge for us 5. I’m moving on up to the Big Leagues!! I’m excited for my players jump to the VHL and I’m hoping he has an immediate impact 6. I’ve gotta go with D.C because they are my VHL team. They have made such a big improvement since last season so I’m rooting for them -
I would love to AGM! I can GM if needed but I may be a little busier. As a GM of last year it was an absolute blast, and would always love to go B2B

1. Vasteras. Solid solid team who dominated the league, they’ll be the team to beat and I could definitely see them hoisting the cup 2. Sijn or myself. We both had very good season finishing high in points. Both solid players who could really help Cologne against Vasteras 3. Clark for sure. Although we had some doubts for goalies at the beginning of the year. He had a very solid year with good numbers 4. Harry Callahan. Such a good player who can score goals. Finished first with goals in reg season so I don’t see him stopping now. 5. Otis B Jr or Sijn. Again both had very good seasons and finished Top 3 in points (Otis 1st and Sijn 3rd). 6. As the owner of Henry let me tell you this… HENRY WILL BE STAYING!! I have been slacking with photos of Henry due to me being 18 hours away from him but just because Keegan is going up, doesn’t mean Henry is too. Henry will stay as Colognes mascot -
Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to regale you with the incredible tale of my life as Keegan Gamble, the hockey player who was FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONEY and FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY from a growth spurt and ended up measuring in at a MASSIVE 5 feet 5 inches. Yes, you read that right. In a sport where giants reign supreme, I was the exception, the one player who was nowhere near a giant, but rather closer to a dwarf. Picture this: a hockey rink in Cologne, where giants roamed, and then there was me, Keegan, the pint-sized player on the Cologne Express. They called me "Midget, "A 18-year-old in a 12-year-olds body "," and sometimes, they just called me “Short stuff" I've often wondered if God had a good laugh when he made me so vertically challenged. You might think that I didn't try to grow taller. Oh, I tried. I stretched, I drank my milk, and I even hung from monkey bars, hoping I'd wake up one day with a couple more inches to my name. But no, fate had other ideas, and those ideas involved me staying closer to the ice than most players' sticks. My teammates never missed an opportunity to tease me, but it was all in good fun. They knew that despite my stature, I was a force to be reckoned with on the ice. I had the heart of a lion and a slapshot that could put a hole in a battleship, I'm kidding, I couldn't slapshot to save my life . If I had a dollar for every time someone underestimated me because of my height, I'd be a millionaire by now. But I didn't mind, because proving people wrong was my favorite pastime. BUT GUESS WHAT, just because I played bigger than my size, doesn't mean I didn’t get absolutely DESTROYED in some games. Nobody could care less that I was probably a foot shorter than everyone, I would still get BLOWN UP and it never felt nice either. When I wasn't on the ice, my size became even more apparent. Need something from the top shelf in the locker room? You'd have to fetch it for me. Clothes shopping was a nightmare, I often had to resort to the kids' section, which made me feel like Peter Pan in search of a pair of hockey skates. Dating was a unique challenge too. I would never tell my friends where I got certain things from just to keep myself from being made fun of for the stuff I buy from certain places. When you're 5 feet 5 inches in a world of taller-than-average folks, slow dancing feels more like a waltz with your partner's chest. But hey, sometimes chest level isn’t a bad thing… . I also never let my stature affect my confidence. I'd often quip that I was "vertically challenged but horizontally gifted." And you know what? It worked. My humor and charm won people over, and I dated some fantastic people along the way. One day, a little kid in the stands pointed at me and exclaimed, "Mom, look at that tiny hockey player!" Although in that moment I never had wanted to punt a kid like a football more in my life... I just looked at the kid, smiled and waved. Like I stated before, if I got a penny for every time a young kid called me out for being short, I would be a billionaire! Life can sometimes throw you a curveball, and not the kind you'd expect on the ice. As the years rolled on, my stature took a toll on my body. The constant physical demands of hockey, along with my size, led to a series of injuries that I couldn't overcome. My dreams of making it to the big leagues were dashed, and I had to hang up my skates for good. (This part isn’t true, I just wanted to add it for dramatic affect.

Yes I’m answering this late but IDC 1. I’m hoping my player can rack up at least a PPG this year. So far doing well but have fallen off a bit 2. Vasteras, just because they were ranked as one of the top teams with us 3. I think it’s really good, we have a really good set of players. Definitely underperforming right now but hopefully we’ll step it up 4. Scoring more goals, that’s the plan and has been the plan for a while 5. Just tour the city and take care of my animal shelter business!! 6. My fav thing about him is that HE IS MY DOG!! Plus he’s got a sick set of wheels!! -
Interviewer: Ladies and gentlemen, hockey fans around the world, we have a special treat for you today. I'm here with the newest captain of the Cologne Express in the VHLE, Keegan Gamble. Keegan, congratulations on being named the captain! How does it feel to take on this leadership role, especially after the team's recent championship victory in the Renaissance Cup? Keegan Gamble: Thank you so much! It's truly an honor to be named the captain of the Cologne Express, especially coming off such an incredible championship win. The energy within the team is electric right now, and I'm excited to keep that momentum going into the new season. Interviewer: Keegan, it's clear that teamwork and camaraderie play a vital role in the success of any hockey team. Could you tell us a bit about your newly appointed assistant captains, Savaisk Tzesar and John Richards, and what they bring to the leadership group? Keegan Gamble: Absolutely, I'd be happy to. Savaisk Tzesar and John Richards are both exceptional players and even better individuals. They've been instrumental in fostering a positive atmosphere within our team, and their leadership qualities are truly impressive. Savaisk is a forward with an unparalleled work ethic. Coming off an incredible season in the VHLM with the champions San Diego Marlins, he put up 34 goals and 81 points in the regular season. His dedication to improving himself and helping his teammates is inspiring. He's the kind of guy who always leads by example, both on and off the ice. Then we have John, who also came off a stellar season, leading the Bratislava Watchmen with 42 goals and 85 points. He is a forward with a natural ability to motivate and inspire. He's got this sense of when to lighten the mood and when to focus the team's energy. His experience and strong communication skills make him a perfect bridge between the players and the coaching staff. Together, Savaisk, John, and I form a leadership trio that balances different strengths and styles. We're a united front, working closely to ensure that every player feels valued and motivated. They're both incredibly deserving of their roles, and I'm thrilled to have them by my side as we navigate the challenges of the upcoming season. Interviewer: General Manager Sijn and Assistant General Manager Fradin must have seen something special in you to entrust you with this role. What qualities or strengths do you think led to their decision? Keegan Gamble: Well, I think it's a combination of factors. Firstly, I believe my passion for the game and commitment to the team's success have been evident since day one. I've always been vocal on and off the ice, motivating my teammates and pushing us all to be our best. Secondly, I'm a firm believer in leading by example. My performance last season was a testament to that, and I plan on continuing to contribute both on the score sheet and in the locker room. Lastly, I've built strong relationships with my teammates, and I think that friendship and trust are essential for any successful team. Interviewer: Speaking of your performance, you had an outstanding season with 62 points in the regular season and another 9 points in the playoffs. How do you plan to maintain this level of performance while also shouldering the responsibilities of captaincy? Keegan Gamble: It's definitely going to be a balancing act, but I thrive on challenges. The captaincy is an added responsibility, but it won't change my approach to the game. I'll continue to focus on my training, work closely with the coaching staff, and collaborate with my teammates to ensure we're all on the same page. It's about finding that sweet spot where my personal performance enhances the team's overall success. Interviewer: The new season starts tomorrow, and the Express are aiming for a back-to-back championship win. How are you and the team feeling about the upcoming season? Keegan Gamble: We're all incredibly excited for the new season to start. The taste of victory from last year has only fueled our hunger for more. We know that defending our title won't be easy, as other teams will be gunning for us, but that's the challenge we're embracing. We've been working hard during the offseason to fine-tune our strategies and stay in peak physical condition. There's a palpable determination in the locker room, and we're ready to hit the ice and give it our all. Interviewer: Before we wrap up, I've heard that the Cologne Express has a rather unique and inspiring team mascot named "Henry the Crippled Dog." Could you share a bit about the story behind this mascot and how it impacts the team's spirit? Keegan Gamble: Absolutely, I'd love to talk about Henry. Henry is actually my dog (IRL), I got him when I was young and he has been my best friend ever since, as soon as I showed the team my dog, they wanted to make him the team mascot. Henry the Crippled Dog holds a special place in the hearts of every player on the team. He's not just a mascot, he's a symbol of resilience, determination, and overcoming adversity. His story is truly remarkable. Despite facing physical challenges, he's full of life and exudes an unwavering spirit that resonates with all of us. We often look to Henry as a source of inspiration, a reminder that no matter the obstacles we face, we can always find the strength to push through and keep going. His presence at our games and practices serves as a constant reminder that we're not just playing for ourselves but for each other and our amazing fans. Henry's positive attitude and ability to persevere in the face of adversity mirror the values we uphold as a team. Interviewer: It's heartwarming to hear how Henry's story has become an integral part of your team's culture. It sounds like his spirit aligns perfectly with the values of dedication and perseverance that you all embrace. Keegan Gamble: Henry's story reinforces the idea that even when things get tough, we can come together and find a way to rise above. He is a beloved member of our team, his presence in the locker room and on the ice reminds us that we're not alone in our journey. It's a privilege to have him as part of our extended family. This is Henry Interviewer: Well, that is all the time we have today! Keegan, with your enthusiasm, dedication, and your incredible mascot, it's clear that the Cologne Express is in good hands. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with us, Keegan, and best of luck in the upcoming season as the team's new captain! Keegan Gamble: Thank you! It's been a pleasure talking with you. To all our fans out there, get ready for an exhilarating season of hockey. We're bringing our A-game, and we can't wait to make you proud! 1153 Words - Claiming Week August 21st-27th & August 28th-Sept 3rd

Yeah that’s on me. Looked at most guys but some not as much as others. Sorry about that
-
Sorry man, it’s tough to make those decisions. Like Z said, hard to make it under 200 TPE. I was the same as you last year, didn’t make it but made it my second year.
-
It was ranked off of TPE. I didn’t just choose based on highest TPE but more of players builds and how’d they’d work with other players. Yes TPE was a factor but not a main point. You were in the discussion just I thought this was our best case for the team

1. FEELS AMAZING. It is everything I wanted and more, couldn't be happier with the result 2. As a Canadian I GOT to eat poutine out of the cup, going to celebrate with my family and just go around town celebrating with the cup by my side 3. Probably my offensive skills, my player had a really good year I would say and was VERY good in playoffs, I think improving my offense will definitely help my player be elite next season. 4. NOPE!! I'm staying down for one more season with Cologne and I am so excited!! I can't wait and I hope we can go back to back 5. I got to say Sigma, as a D-man he led us in points and was definitely a key factor as to why we won the cup this season. 6. The GM/AGM performed so unbelievably well and I am so proud and happy for them. They both did a stellar job and are the backbone to this team. They are the reason we made it as far as we did and I couldn't be more grateful! -
Interviewer: Ladies and gentlemen, hockey fans around the world, we have a very special guest with us today, it is none other then recent VHLE league champion, Keegan Gamble, the incredible member of Cologne Express in the VHLE, who recently led his team to victory in the Renaissance Cup against the Istanbul Redwolves. Keegan, congratulations on your remarkable performance and the championship win! How does it feel to bring the cup home? Keegan Gamble: Thank you so much! It's an unbelievable feeling, truly a dream come true. Winning the Renaissance Cup and being a part of the Cologne Express team has been an incredible journey, and lifting that cup with my teammates is a moment I'll cherish forever. Interviewer: You were on fire throughout the playoffs, leading the team in goals with 5 and second in points with 9. What's been your secret to success on the ice? Keegan Gamble: Well, it's been a combination of factors, really. First and foremost, it's about the incredible chemistry and teamwork within our locker room. We're like a family, and that chemistry translates onto the ice. I've also been working hard on my individual skills and constantly striving to improve my game. And of course, the coaching and GM’S guidance and strategic planning played a significant role in our success. Interviewer: The playoffs MVP title is well within your grasp, Keegan. How does it feel to be in the running for such a prestigious award? Keegan Gamble: It's a tremendous honor to even be considered for the playoffs MVP. I owe it all to my teammates and the coaching staff, as well as the unwavering support of our fans. Personal accolades are wonderful, but the ultimate goal is always the team's success. If I do win the MVP, it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. Interviewer: The final against the Istanbul Redwolves was a real nail-biter, with a 3rd period goal to pull out victorious. Can you walk us through your thoughts and emotions during that intense moment? Keegan Gamble: Oh, absolutely. The third period was a rollercoaster of emotions. We knew that every second counted, and that one play could determine the outcome. When I saw that puck hit the back of the net, it was a mix of relief, joy, and sheer excitement. The Redwolves put up an amazing fight, and I have the utmost respect for them. Do or die situations are what every athlete lives for. Interviewer: Looking ahead, what do you think the future holds for Keegan Gamble and the Cologne Express? Keegan Gamble: The future is bright, no doubt about it. We've built a strong foundation, and we're hungry for more success. The league is filled with incredibly talented teams, so we'll continue to train hard, refine our strategies, and stay focused on the next challenge. As for me, I'll keep pushing my boundaries and striving to be the best player I can be. The journey doesn't stop here, we are only just getting started. Interviewer: Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with us, Keegan. Congratulations once again on your amazing achievements, and we'll be eagerly watching as you continue to make waves in the VHLE! Keegan Gamble: Thank you, it's been a pleasure. And a shoutout to all our fans, your support means the world to us! Can't wait to see what the future holds. Go Cologne Express!
