  1. Review I enjoyed this media spot and I love how these quotes are real. LOL! Vencko hasn't been performing too well. Maybe there is outside influences... These posts are really funny and I enjoy reading them. The Houston Bulls are a great team to be a part of and I appreciate you writing these media spots. The writing quality is great and the story is very clear and easy to follow along with.

  3. Review This media spot was great. I loved how you included the funny little "it's not easy being green" image. The writing quality was also very good. The facts were interesting. I liked how you brought real life things in correlation to the VHL. The player stats you included were interesting such as the Benjamin Abenduct and the goalie stats. It's great how you showcased the Houston Bulls' penalty-stricken game against the Kings. You also included the historical facts of Greenland which was great. 10/10 Claiming for week ending 1/21

    Games: 41-50

Game recap: Game 43 Houston Bulls vs Mississauga Hounds First period The game starts and Mississauga at 12:02 gets off to a hot start with a bot-filled goal. Scored by B-MIS RW1 and assisted by two other bots. Wow! 3 minutes later, Jack Dickins of Houston responds back with a goal assisted by Dylan Boland and Miner Vhler. 2nd period Houston started to get away with this one scoring 3 goals, and leading 4-1. Goals scored by Filip Zinek, Benjamin Abenduct, and Nathan Ecker. 3rd period The 3rd was an action-packed period with Houston outshooting Mississauga 18-12. The only goals scored, however, were by Wernher von Braun of Mississauga. Final score: 4-2 for Houston. Goalie stats Houston Herald Benson 0.926 Mississauga bot goalie 0.915
  5. 1. I think I've performed very well. I've scored almost every game. 2. Chris Reynolds Jr. He's been a great linemate, and I greatly appreciate him. I love this whole team though. 3. To be honest nobody, until they piss me off. 4. I like Helsinki. They're pretty cool. Seattle would be nice too since AJ is great. 5. Definitely. We will all be capped at the season's end for a nice run! 6. San Diego. We've played them multiple times and lost in close matchups.
  6. Today we will be doing a deep dive into each of the VHLM's west conference teams strengths and weaknesses. The start of the season has already been thrilling with many close games. So, let's get into it! Las Vegas Aces Strengths: A great first defensive pairing as they have a 182 tpe defenseman and a 142 tpe defenseman. Two great centers and two great wingers. The team performs very well due to some players making big impacts. Weaknesses: The 2nd defensive pairing includes a bot and a 68 tpe defenseman. Some players on their team have thrown points into irrelevant stats. A few members on their team won't be improving as they've done barely any supplemental tasks or 6 tpe tasks. San Diego Marlins Strengths: 2 already capped players, 1 player 3 tpa from capped. 8 100+ tpa players. Most players have decent builds. A good GM. A few established members of the community. Almost everyone on the team is contributing, even the lower tpe guys. Most guys are active. A great winger core. Weaknesses: A goalie that is only 90 tpa, but he is still performing very well. Some members aren't putting any effort into updating their players. A few players put tpe into stats that won't help them or their team. The center side of the team has much less tpe than the wingers. Mexico City Strengths: A decent defense. However, a weak second pairing. A great goalie with only 2.59 GAA which can be credited to both the goalie and the defense. Many players with tons of experience in the VHL. Weaknesses: Lack of forward depth. Especially centers. Trey Daniels' build is way too spread out and you can see it clearly as Loona Buckzo, 70 tpe less than Trey Daniels outscores him by 2 points. Rain Olsen has received no PT and only practice has been done for him. He will be a weak link for this hockey team. Houston Bulls Strengths: Almost everyone on the team is active and dedicated except for a few exceptions. 7 players over 100 tpe. A great GM. Lucy Leitner performing great on the defensive side helps this team a ton. This team has depth everywhere. Many members are well-known and familiar with the VHL. Weaknesses: Two goalies with high TPA aren't performing as you'd expect with their high tpa. This team often loses close games which has been a huge problem. Their standing and record do not reflect the team they are. Center "Deez nutz" is inactive and hasn't been helping the team. Saskatoon Wild Strengths: This team has a ton of winger depth. A few decent guys over 100 tpe. Weaknesses: Most players are low TPA and that reflects how this team has been performing. A horrendous defense with only two defensemen and they are both under 65 tpe. The goalies are low TPE and have not been holding the net very well. That concludes this early look at the Western Conference team's strengths and weaknesses. Thank you for reading today and so long from Jake! Claiming for the week ending 1/21 517 words
  7. Always looking forward to another runnin with the bulls
  8. Happy to captain this great team! Bout to win the cup!
  9. Today we will go over Trimiskez Artav arriving in Houston and overviewing the draft. After settling into his new home in Houston, Artav wasted no time in immersing himself in the team's culture and getting to know his new teammates. He quickly bonded with his fellow players, sharing stories and jokes during practice and team dinners. As a rookie, Artav was eager to learn from the experienced players on the team (aka players who have had previous creates) and soak up as much knowledge as he could. But it wasn't just his teammates that made Artav feel at home in Houston. The city's passionate hockey fans welcomed him with open arms. Everywhere he went, people recognized him as a member of the Houston Bulls and showed their support for the team. Artav was touched by the love and enthusiasm from the community, and it made him determined to succeed on the ice. Despite coming from a small town in Greenland, Artav loved hockey. Growing up, he spent countless hours on the frozen lakes and ponds, honing his skills and dreaming of one day playing professionally. And now, that dream was becoming a reality as he prepared to make his debut in the VHLM. Artav was determined to make an impact in his first season with the Houston Bulls. He trained tirelessly, pushing himself to his limits in the gym and on the ice. He was determined to win a cup and help his team as much as he could. As the VHLM season approached, Artav felt a mix of nervousness and excitement. He couldn't wait to hit the ice and play in front of the home crowd. That ends half of this media spot. Draft Overview I will be going over the first round in this section of the media spot. This draft was pretty good and it was almost full of players. There were a ton of great guys and now let's get into it! Halifax snagged an incredible player in Antonia Bucatini who is already capped AT THE START OF THE SEASON. They have been struggling so much and Bucatini will be a huge help for them. Next, a great pick in the draft was Jean-Pierre Devote. They were able to get him 5th and currently he has 206 tpe and is already capped. An incredible pick. A turn-off for other teams could be the 55 defensive coverage, but this is a steal and this is a great player. Then, another steal was Houston getting Chris Reynolds Jr. This was a 157 tpe player picked 14th. It is incredible how he was still available in the second round. Then, another great pick would be the San Diego Marlins grabbing up Alexis Laffayette. They were still available IN THE 20TH PICK OF THE DRAFT. If they weren't drafted here this could've been a 141 tpe player dropping down to the 3rd round. This is a great pick. He also had a decent build. He added 2 tpe to grit though which was sort of, why. Also added 10 tpe to passing which passing isn't the best stat to upgrade. This was a great draft to watch and I will see you guys next week. 545 words claimed for the week of 1/14/2024
  10. In anticipation of the VHLM draft, Trimiskez Artav's heart pounded in his chest like a war drum. The first round had ended, leaving him in a state of nervousness as team after team made their selections in the second round. With each passing pick, he wondered if he would drop to the third round. The Houston Bulls were up, and his destiny hung in the balance. Then, the words that would change his life reverberated through the arena: "The Houston Bulls select, Trimiskez Artav, right winger." A wave of happiness made him feel unstoppable as he embraced his family, sharing a moment of joy. With so much determination, he made his way to the stage to collect his new jersey. It looked so great. He would make sure that jersey won a championship. Artav knew that this was just the beginning of his journey. The road ahead would be demanding a ton of dedication. From that day forward, Trimiskez Artav dedicated himself to the pursuit of hockey greatness.
  11. Houston Bulls Press Conference 1. My name is Trimiskez Artav. I am a Right Winger. My goal is to be the greatest right-winger I can be. 2. I want to make it deep into the playoffs and reach 200 tpe. 3. I was drafted lower than I expected. I was among the highest tpe players in the draft, so I did not expect to fall that far. 4. I'll bring some nice Buffalo Wings to the team barbecue. 5. I am planning on being a sniper. I want to score the most points possible. 6. Going for a championship. We have many great players and I am confident in this team. That wraps this up. Go HOUSTON BULLS! - Trimiskez Artav
  12. Trimiskez Artav is a hot prospect in the VHLM right now. With the draft coming up later today, we will review his strengths, weaknesses, and goals for the future. Strengths Artav is great in terms of scoring goals. He spent a lot of time improving his offensive vision. He is great with the puck too, as he spent a lot of time working on his deking and stick handling. He also has decent speed. He can pass well. If his teammates need a pass, he is a reliable player and his teammates will know that they have a good chance of getting this pass well. He is well-rounded offensively. His athleticism is great as he learned to skate at a young age and worked out at a young age. He was born to play hockey. He has a great hockey IQ as he has played and watched the game his whole life. Artav has a high work ethic as he trains for many hours every single day. He loves hockey so much and any chance he gets to play, he plays. Weaknesses He lacks severely in terms of defense. Artav has not spent much time improving his defense and sometimes that comes back to bite him as sometimes players will be able to get past him when he tries to play defense. Trimiskez is not good at playing physically. He would usually play without much contact and he would mainly work on skills. The VHLM level may be too physical for him. Artav was born in Greenland and not many people played ice hockey in his city. His father, however, grew the sport so he could play with everyone. A good amount of his hockey life was spent playing by himself or with his parents. He helped his friends learn how to play though, so he got to practice with his friends. They were at a much lower level than him though. Faceoffs are a big weakness for him. He is a winger, but he is often called in to replace the center when he takes a penalty. He loses almost all of his faceoffs when he has to take them. Goals He wants to improve defensively. Artav wants to win a championship eventually or at least play on the biggest stage in the finals. He wants to play on a team he gets to play a decent amount of playing time.
  13. Last season, Trimiskez Artav finished his final year of junior hockey and won the OHL cup with Saginaw. Now, he has entered his name into the draft. “The change to the VHLM level has been difficult, considering I am currently competing in the ProAm tournament.” Trimiskez says. He has been working hard as Artav has lived in Michigan for the past few months. He has met with many new trainers who can help step up his game to the next level. “ It is a weird feeling where your entire VHLM future will be decided by which team picks me up.” Artav told reporters in Detroit, Michigan. He has only been reached out to by two of the teams in the M so far. Most of his time, he has been training with other players in the Saginaw area of Michigan. Only time will tell which team picks up the hot prospect, Trimiskez Artav.
  14. 1. I don’t know many players tbh.. 2. Vancouver 3. Helsinki cause it looks cool questions 1. Where do you want to visit the most? 2. Who do you think is winning continental cup? 3. How much money should a 1k tpe player make?
  15. Trimiskez grew up playing hockey. He learned to skate when his parents taught him at 3 years old. Artav always wanted to pick up the stick at every moment. Every day in Greenland after school, he would play hockey with his friends. Trimiskez sniped in goals every time they played. When he was young, his parents recorded him practicing and he was at a high level at an extremely young age. He considered his parent's support of him playing hockey as an extreme influence on his hockey skills. They would find his best trainers and pay them a lot to come out to Greenland. His dad started a youth hockey program so he could play as there was none in his area. Eventually, as he continued developing, junior hockey teams started scouting him. He ended up on the Saginaw Spirit. This was great for him and his family as he had relatives in the great state of Michigan. Trimiskez grew up watching Saginaw as a kid and was a fan of them. His favorite VHLM team was the San Diego Marlins as he loved their logo. Artav moved to Michigan, and his aunt took him in. Artav thought it was incredible as there was a much greater love for hockey in Michigan than there was in Greenland. He became friends with his teammates quickly, and he had already learned English in Greenland so it was an easy transition for him. He worked hard and scored 31 goals and got 28 assists in his rookie season. He led the league in points and his team went to the 3rd round of the playoffs before they were knocked out. He was 16 years old at this point. When he was 17, he had an extremely good season. He sniped in 44 goals and got 34 assists. Everyone was talking about him. He led his team to the finals and enormous watch parties were formed in Saginaw. He was facing the Peterborough Petes. They both fought hard and he had 5 goals and 4 assists in the 6 games so far. It was 3-3. Game 7 of the OHL finals. He scored two quick ones and they led 2-0 as the 1st period ended. Once the 2nd period started, they led 3-0 as his teammate scored. However, near the end of the 2nd Peterborough scored 2 to make the game 3-2. Then, the 3rd period began. It was nerve-wracking as Peterborough had so many chances. Then, at 19:48 Peterborough scored to put this into overtime. 2 minutes into overtime, Trimiskez scored to bring Saginaw the cup. He hoisted it and thought of how he would do in the memorial cup. Sadly, they lost all 3 games as Trimiskez scored 1 goal and 1 assist in all 3 games in total. This was a lackluster memorial cup for Saginaw. Artav thought maybe that he just wasn't cut out for big games like this. He then cut back to more positive thoughts and made an amend to himself. "I missed out on the Memorial Cup, I will not miss out on the next championship game I play in." He had to put that all behind him as he would start gearing up for the VHLM and the pro-am tournament. He had multiple offers to play at top-level schools like the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Boston College, Boston University, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and many more. He put all those aside and he said he wanted to go straight to the M. He received an offer to play in the pro-am tournament. Trimiskez graciously accepted as he wanted to play hockey with players of the highest level. Artav prepped rigorously. He lifted weights and practiced skating and shooting and everything in between. He still lived in Michigan as he wanted to stay here for the rest of the wait till the draft. He loved the people around him and he made many friends. Trimiskez Artav was still close with many of his teammates and a lot of them ended up going and playing college hockey. Many of their goals were just to go and play in college and get an education. But he was much more ambitious than that. He wanted to play at the top level. He wanted to play in the VHL. He would play in the VHL. He entered the pro-am tournament and for a lot of the games he hadn't performed very well. He received very little ice time as he wasn't even drafted yet into the VHLM. Artav still persevered and scored some points to help his team. Only time will tell where he goes in the draft. Artav wanted to go and meet up with his old friends that he played hockey with as a kid in Greenland. They congratulated him on winning the OHL cup and being the MVP. They all caught up and it was back to the grind for Trimiskez Artav.
