1. This time of year its the squidward looking out the window at canadian hockey teams who made it meme, in this case the flames/nucks are squidward. 2. I'll take never tasting sweet, I love chips more than chocolate so I can live with that. 3. I'm pretty ok with trying new foods as long are they are not moving, so I think I'd be ok for most things, I had squid legs before, so so so chewie. Questions: 1. NHL - What first round matchup has you the most excited? 2. You get to choose the Utah Hockey Clubs name, what do you choose? 3. You get to move and rename a VHL team, who and why?!

Game 353: Ottawa Lynx vs. Houston Bulls Game 72 for these teams as the season is coming to an end we have two teams on opposites ends of the spectrums, the Ottawa Lynx are 4th in the Eastern conference with nobody within 30 points of them give or take, and the Bulls also find themselves with nobody within 30 points of them but thats because they have Dominated the West and the East all season are sporting a 58-8-5 record this season. The Ottawa Lynx have been nothing short of a door mat this season the bulls have won all 5 meetings none of them were particularly close. Lets get this one started so we can get to the playoffs! Started is one way to put this 22 seconds into the game Gingy finds his 33rd of the season, assists to Dog Jagr(54) and Feka Ohi Kau(45). Ottawa strikes back @ 4:11 Elisa Mcmuffin lets a series of shots go missing the net on a couple which bounce back to her, Dog Jagr blocks the 3rd attempt and the pucks squirts out to Kyle Evans who nets his 38th of the season, giving Mcmuffin her 51st and Owen Two his 52nd. At this point the shots are looking bleak for Ottawa as they have fired more wide of the net then on the net, but the same cannot be said for Houston as Cardinal Copia collects their own blocked shot off McMuffin @ 15:52 and lands their 32nd of the season, Additional Pylons(31) and Jack Jack (48) tally up the assists. Little over a minute later, Alex Bridges IV gives Houston a 3 - 1 cushion and the fans are loving the offensive barrage being put on by the Bulls, Dog Jagrs gets their 55th assist and Jack Jack is now up to 49! The period ends and houston is up 17-2 on the shots. Second period Ottawa starts to show some quality and the chances are looking better none better than @ 9:43 when Tariff Puck passes over to Fortnite Money gang who misses the net but WWWumbo is on the back door for a cheeky tap in and Ottawa is back within one its now 3 - 2 . The remainder of the period is a bit back and forth Houston still getting the share of the chances with 11 shots to 8, but Ottawa holding tight going into the 3rd versus a team they have yet to get any points off of this season. Ottawas offense all but vanishes again once the sides flip back, mustering only 3 shots in the period, Houston Robin Sierra nets his 19th of the season with assists from Alex Bridges and Additional Pylons. Komi Kamal is doing everything they can to keep Ottawa in the game but the team is not able to muster anything resembling an offense in this one, its a miracle its only a 2 goal deficit and this one ends 4 - 2 Houston Bulls, as they sweep Ottawa 6-0 on the season. 3 Stars 1 - Alex Bridges IV (HOU) 1G-1A 8S 2 - Jack Jack (HOU) 2A +2 2H 1SB 3 - Dog Jagr (HOU) 2A 3H 1SB See everybody in the playoffs!

Game 351: Halifax 21st vs. Ottawa Lynx Welcome back Ottawa Hockey fans, fresh off being sick for two days, we are happy to be back in the Nations Capital as Ottawa hosts Halifax. These guys just played in the last game where Halifax managed to take a 4-2 victory while being outshot 27-25 by Ottawa, we'll keep our eye out for Star of the previous game Steven Nichols hes averaging near a point per game in his VHLM 4th season as he had 2 Goals in that aforementioned victory. Game 351 of the regular season kicks off in Ottawa with the home team getting on the board, Fortnite Moneygang collects his 11th of the season from William Tree(18) and Ivan Grovnikov(23) @ 7:29. As the 11:01 minute rolls over Florida Man II gets his 8th assist of the season as he gets it infront to Hater Tottingham as he bangs in his 33rd of the campaign. Owen Two gets called for a high stick on a hit to Florida Man, and the power play for Halifax gets to work, Cysteine buries their 19th of the season an Family Mart(16) and Steven Nichos(40) @ 14:01. Ottawa has no quit in sight thou, 20 seconds after the puck drops their 3rd line wastes little time breaking into the zone and tying the game up. Devin Gabella nets their 2nd of the seasn and Elisa McMuffin adds her 50th apple of the season, nic gets their first assist of the year at 14:21, the period continues without much theatrics until the last few moments when WWWWumbo and Tariff Puck both lay it out and block 3 shots in the final 7 seconds of the period to keep the game tied at 2. Steve Nichols desided he was going to show up in the second period and gets a primary assist on Family Mart 7th goal of the season at 5:42. Halifax is really pouring it on in the period they end up with 17 shots to 3 and amongst the barrage hometown hero Tariff Puck gets caught high sticking which leads to another Halifax goal is Cysteine grabs their second of the game and Steven Nichols adds to his assist talley with his 42nd of they year, Michael Lee Jr gets his 21st as the penalties are Ottawa's undoing again. Third period marches forward and Ottawa spends a good chunk of the middle of the period on the power play with nothing to show for it barely a shot, and frustration begins to rear its ugly head near the end of the game as Ivan Grovnikov gets a Roughing minor and Igor Sokolov cashes in another power play goal giving him his 10th of the season , Hater Tottingham gets his 45th assist and Petr Novak his 55th. The shots end up 32-12 Halifax, Halifax goes 3/6 on the power play and Ottawa goes 0/6. Cysteine gets the first star for a Two goal performance, Hater tottingham gets the second star with 1G-1A and 4 hits. Family Mart gets the third star 1G-1A. The win puts Halifax on 99 points and the precipice of 100 points season as they take on Mississauga at home in the next game. Ottawa gets to fly down to Houston and see if they can crack an 0-5 record vs the VHLM leading Houston Bulls.

Loud boisterous beginnings and a short walk to the rink is how Tariff stated his hockey career, in a small town in Ontario, a mere half a kilometer to the rink you could see him lugging his equipment to the outside rink every night of the week. Captivated by his Uncle Johns tails of legendary players and the Canada Russia series. Stories of how the defense is getting weaker and how the defense is getting softer, helped mold the thought process of how Tariff would become the player he became. It didn't start out easy for him, he was a bit gangly and awkward for his age, the doctors always said oh should grow into his body, but most people who liken him to a baby giraffe for the first 9 years of his life. He could barely skate but that never deterred his effort, he was almost always a clean half foot taller then everybody else on the ice, that included when he fell down, which was for a while any time he would turn sharply or have to change direction in a hurry. 12 years ago it certainly didn't look like there was going to be a be a player who would one day have scouts praising him and teams lining up to watch him. It all started kind of haphazardly in the summer he was turning 10, a friend begged him to come out and play doubles with him as a youth at a badminton club. When he got to the club there was no other youth just some adults who were more than willing to play a few young fellas who weren't half bad, but weren't half great either. They played 4 different teams of people; they lost, pretty badly. But they realized something on the way home a revelation of sorts as they talked about playing side to side and how they crashed their rackets into each other a few times going for the shuttle cock at the same time. What if we just play front and back. Who should play front? Who should play back? Tariff didn't know, his friend Kris didn't know. Luckily it was summer time school just got out and there was Wimbledon Tennis on. Not exactly the same idea, but pretty close. They found doubles on and noticed how the players shifted angles, but one team in particular caught there eye, a team with a very Tall guy, and an average height person. How they moved in unison, the shorter player in most points attempted to get closer to the net, and the Tall guy would just slide back and play somewhat defensively. This was it, this was the beginning of Tariff's transformation from a falling around the rink giraffe with bad legs to a fast paced player with a level of ice vision that began to become unrivaled at his level. The quick twitch and rotations of badminton began to help him stop and go quicker, when he played ball hockey during the summer he started being able to block shots with his stick better and see the puck clearer. He was batting every ball that was attempted to be passed near him, his hand eye skill began to increase and increase the more he played both sports. He stayed in shape all summer playing badminton versus adults 2 nights a week, they started to win the odd game versus average players at the club, continuing on for the summer some of the adults started to wonder if they could be badminton prodigies. The truth came around in the Fall, Hockey is all that matters in Canada. When Tariff laced up his skates for the first time that year he noticed he didn't feel so uneasy on his feet. He could feel the blade pushing against the ice, he was able to stop on a dime now a summer of messing around with badminton had made his legs and ankles much stronger from having to constantly move from side to side for hours on end every night they went to play. He was able to pick off pucks going up the boards a lot easier, and he was now a complete menace to try and get around, it appears his hand speed and grip strength also improved! Eventually coaches took notice as he improved his speed and mobility, a kid who is much larger then his peers moving around gracefully at 10, this lead to tryouts with the local rep teams, which lead to invites to other camps. A simple twist of fate had activated a complete world of hockey had begun to unlock. Now 12 years on and just finishing his University season, hes been asked to come play in the VHLM as the season is near the end of the year, since hes 21 hes passed the youth draft rights phase and he can just join his local Minor team the Ottawa Lynx and see what the future holds and if he will be picked up next year by any teams. Who knows what greatness can be unlocked?

1. So I am Pretty new to the league, so I dont know what you could realistically ask for, but being 8th/10 teams currently doesn't make much sense to be adding when it appears the team would require so much to be a contender vs some of the top tier teams in the league. I 2. Hello, new addition. I'm pretty happy I'll be getting a decent amount of playing time over the next few weeks so I can kind of see what what works and the evolution of my character. I was kind of shocked to see that I went right into the team the way I did, coming from PBE where you have to be somewhat drafted first to a Minors team it was a system shock to see my player in the box scores! 3. I don't know about them joining the Lynx per se, I am sure they have their own preferences. I absolutely would love to get onto a team with @FlyingWVand @pboomg two people I know from the PBE, FlyingWV is my teams lead updater and I was scouting him heavily to join my PBE team and Pboomg was in my draft class and was one of the steals of that draft as he joined the league late and his lower TPE in a class that was massive drove him down the draft board quite unfairly. I think if we redrafted the class he would have been 1st or early second, and he slid to the 4th round or something heinous. 4. I think we are going to slowly but surely trudge our way into the playoffs; two shutouts tonight certainly didn't help! I'm getting the TPE now though Bossman! 5. My player is going to be hitting the weight room and continue to work on his lower body while improving his skating form, the game is going to get faster and faster as I progress through the leagues so I want to be able to not be a liability as much as possible! 6. I'll take a crisp 5, I like a more flashy skin. I do love a good audio synced animation though!

Review Game 320 Ottawa Lynx vs Las Vegas Aces - Ottawa coming off a disappointing result in Houston last game finds themself in "Sin City" tonight taking on the Las Vegas Aces, both teams sporting similar record and finding themselves in 4th in their respective conferences. Both teams on a 3 game skid currently with the Saskatoon Wild getting the better of the Aces in OT last game. The action picks up early in the first as Komi Kamal lets in the first shot of the game Boing Boing nets his 17th of the season with Ashcroft getting his 17th assist and BEER x5x2 getting his second assist and the Vegas crowd is electrified but unfortunately that energy will soon be zapped as a sloppy game of dump and chase hockey plagued with turn overs begins to unfold in front of them. Nearly 3 minutes go by before an attempted shot goes off which is blocked by the defense. Vegas player Finn Mercer getting booed by his own fans in the first as he ices the puck 3 times in a two minute burst. Despite this Ottawa is unable to get any offense going at all the Lynx end the first with 2 shots and Aces with 4, but the Aces are on the board and the Lynx are still Drawing it up. Nothing really happening in the second period until Raoul Cyr and Owen Two drop the gloves and Cyr is out of his element here, he gets absolutely dropped in a one sided affair and his coach is just shaking his head at the scene, wondering why he would choose to drop the gloves in such a scenario. Cyr will get the last laugh as Owen Two gets called for a hold minute 11 in the second, and that allows Boing Boing 17th assist of the season to setup Cyr for his 22nd goal of the year on the power play and Ottawa finds themselves down 2 with the offense unable to generate shots. Third period doesn't add much in the way of drama, Ottawa finds their legs late and sprinkles 8 shots but nothing can get by Brian S as he records a 15 save shutout and collects a first star of the game, Boing Boing getting the second star with a solid 2 point night and 3rd star honours to Ethan Ashcroft. The Lynx have now lost 4 in a row and been shut out back to back games 2-0 after losing the two previous 4-1. Ottawa is off to Mexico, and the Aces have the Reapers at home next!

Review Game 315 Ottawa Lynx vs Houston Bulls The game starts off well for the visiting Lynx who are in Houston to take on the Western and Minor hockey leading Bulls. The Lynx are really taking it to the Bulls early but end up with 12 shots and nothing to show for it despite having the man advantage for the majority of the period. A line skirmish breaks out after Dart-For-Moderator lands a brutal slash giving himself a double minor and Ottawa takes exception to the amount of slashing and wood work that Houston is employing on them. The Bulls weather the penalty storm and grab a lead 4:13 into the second, Feka Ohi Kau fires a shot deflected by Gingy, bounces off the backboard collected by Gingy and beats the goalie for the first goal of the game. Ottawa starts collecting minor infractions and lets Houston back into this one letting them get 9 shots on the period. Into the 3rd with the game still pretty competitive at 1-0, Fortnite Moneygang decides to go for the pick-axe attack and collects himself a high sticking penalty which proves to be the dagger, Tail end of the penalty, Cardinal Copia moves in and fires a shot Tariff Puck blocks the shot, puck bounces wide and Robin Sierra collects it lets a shot go Copia leaks behind the defense and deflects it in to release the air from the crowd and send the Houston crowd to a frenzy. 3 Stars #1 Bartholomew Lorequavius with the 20 save shut out, #2 Robin Sierra with the Assist on the game sealing goal by #3 Cardinal Copia, who had 7 of the 23 shots by Houston.

Introduction by Gary MacKenzie from Barndoor Defense Scouting: "Look this guy Tariff, he doesn't score, he barely passes, doesn't want the puck on the offense, barely steps over the blue line but to keep it onside. But let me tell you nobody blocks shots like him! He stays back, he guards the net like it's Fort Knox. You are going to hear people say its boring, he's a boring hockey player. I'm going to say its smart, Very smart. The way he plays let you build your offense back to front, his partner can be a defensive liability and they aren't going to give up the breakaway. He's the best at doing nothing but defense. He's so defensive he argues with mirrors. He's got some grit to him, he gets down and blocks the shots nobody wants to block, but hes got the quiet confident leadership that every team wants in a player and hes got the defensive intangibles that make other teams hate him. That is how you win, this kid is a winner." Tariff Puck projects to be a monstrous blueline presence at 6'5 237lbs. The twenty-one year old Canadian is stay at home defensemen with limited offensive potential, his offensive contributions will include a decent slap shot, average passive skills, but below average desire to be on the offensive end contributing. He skates backwards faster then he skates forwards his College coach jokes. What he lacks for in offense he will doubly make up for in defense, he excels in clearing out the front of the night and blocking shots on power play units making him a desired defensive commodity for every team. He is a heavy hitter that requires all Centers and Wingers to keep their head on a swivel when accepting passes up the middle. If you chase a puck in deep you get a body check to go with it and he grinds down the offensive players with a continuous barrage of crushing hits. As mentioned he projects to be a great skater for a defenseman that won't get blown by on defense, he does leave a little to be desired with his puck handling but that will develop as he gets used to the speed of the game but history shows he will want to get it off his stick as soon as possible. With being physical in the corners will come the repercussions of hitting a few star players, but Tariff isn't afraid to drop the mitts and play the enforcer role if the bell rings and the teams needs someone to step up and answer the call he is the guy. The retaliatory enforcement of Tariff's fists knows no borders they will not cross.
